yupp...totally agree tat the hygiene of foods sold at pasar malam can be questionable. but then again, i think every time you eat out you are susceptible to this thing anyway. even restaurant tat look nice in the front might have a hell of a kitchen. the least you can do is make some reasonable judgement. if the stall looks dirty, the handler looks dodgy then better avoided it. anyway...i go to pasar malam almost exclusively for the foods sold there. soya beans milk, tau fu fa, murtabak, pau, satay, keropok lekor, pisang goreng, you named it. and usually i'll buy the foods from the same stall that i know is definitely the best one around coz there are zillions stall there selling the same thing but usually only one or two is the best. so far i have never had any bad experience.

wow...a lot of kung fu and taekwando members here eh. i joined silat cekak hanafi when i was in college. personally i think silat cekak hanafi is a good martial art to learn, especially for gurls. reason being coz i think it is more practical compared to other martial arts such as taekwando for example. (i'm not downgrading other martial arts here okay...just my personal opinion) in silat cekak hanafi you wont be using your legs to do kicking or etc. you'll largely using you hand and concentrate on using the momentum of your opponent when they throw their fist or leg against them. what i am trying to say here is that i can see its practicality when needed in emergency situations coz you can pretty much defend urself just being using ur hands to lockdown and overpower ur opponent. i dont think i'll be doing much kicking in those situations to be honest

hmm...it's hard to say. don't panic yet. sumtimes it is quite difficult to see the baby plus it depends on skills of the person who is doing the scan as well. make sure you drink plenty of water before the scan so that your uterus will be pushed up by the full bladder thus giving better pics. i wud say just wait for the next scan and see how things go. i am pretty sure your baby is ok since you said that havent got any bleeding or watsoever. good luck and let us know any good news.

i just want to clarify here that islamic scholars have different opinions when it comes to female circumcision for muslim gurls. some scholars said that it is obligatory while some said that it is not obligatory. in malaysia muslims follows Shafi'i scholar which states that circumcision is mandatory for both muslim guys and gurls. as a muslim guy myself i have no problem with that since i truly believe that male circumcision makes our private parts much hygiene as the foreskin can provide a place for microorganisms to flourish, leading to odor and infection. to those who might not know, the female circumcision is done by removing a lil bit of prepuce or clitoral hood, and not the clitoris itself. but unfortunately in some countries, especially those in africas, they do not understand this and instead remove the clitoris itself. i prefer to refer this case as female genital mutilation and not female circumcision.

OMG...that is truly some dreadful experiences. it proved that these perverts are enjoying those peak hours to satisfy their sick habits. personally i wud very much welcome the idea of a male-female compartments for LRT. but of coz whether it is implementable or not is debateable. a female-unisex compartment wud be better coz those who are travelling together ie. married couple, mother and son, etc can remain together throughout their journey. but again it might be difficult to implement. nevertheless...i see that the problem arise from jam packed LRT during peak hours. thus these 'packed' situation offers those perverts with an opportunity to do their 'work'. i'm pretty sure if LRT is not so packed they will not dare to do their act. so perhaps the most sensible thing to do is to offer more or larger carriages with frequent times. in that situation there will be more gaps in between passengers thus denying those perverts from their chance since ppl can caught them red handed if they tried to do it.

wow...some interesting opinions here. well in my case for some reason i feel that my wife is sexier than ever when she is pregnant. plus she is also into sex more during pregnancy thanks to the high levels of hormones. personally i don't think sex during pregnancy can do any harm. coz you'll not be doing it roughly anyway and restricted to a few positions which usually helps the wife to relax and enjoy. also i am not put off sex at all after seeing my wife gave birth. i think it is a special event in your life that shudnt be missed.

ghost story on the road eh? well i got sumthing for you guys. but i warned you...not for the faint-hearted drivers kay. those who think they are then better turn away now. this happened to my late uncle. he frequently commute using the KARAK highway. i'm sure you guys have heard many stories regarding this highway. anyway...since he drives alone usually he avoid travelling late at night. but on this one occasion a meeting that he had finished quite late. meaning that he will have to drive through Karak highway at night. at first he hesitated, but at the same time he doesn't like the idea of leaving his wife and kids at home without him through the nite, so he go through with it anyway. my uncle said that through out the journey everything seems fine. but when he reached somewhere near genting after the tunnel he got tis funny feeling and then suddenly the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. his first reaction is to look ahead to side of the road if there is anything suspicious, but he cudn't see anything. and then...when he looked into the center mirror sumthing caught his eyes. he didn't see it clearly but he said that he saw sumthing is sitting at the passenger seat. in fact he looked the second time and still he said that watever that thing...it is still there! so after the second look he started to recite some verses from the quran which is usually used in this kind of situation. after that he looked into the mirror and that thing is gone. it cud be anything, cud be just his imagination but one thing for sure i'm not driving alone at nite ever again after i heard that story. yikes! i can't imagine what will happen to me if i'm in the car instead of him.

hahaha...cudn't agree more with the suggestion. actually here in UK they used to wear hospital coats as well but now it is totally abandoned due to hygienic reasons. like wat u mention...docs and nurses wear the coats almost everywhere. who knows how many germs they have pick up during those trips. and to make matter worse they don't wash the coats regularly. so the coat is like a walking, breeding factory of germs to be honest. now here in UK docs just wear normal clothes from home and no more coats. it is more hygienic coz u wear clean clothes everyday, and u won't wear the same clothes twice coz then ppl will notice. i think they shud abandoned the coats as well in malaysia. can't imagine how to wear a coat in a hot malaysia weather. must be a lot of sweating...very unhygienic if you ask me

ok...first of all ppl need to understand that condom is not 100% safe. it can break or maybe have a small tear, so it is still possible for the gurl to get pregnant. so for me a couple in this situation doesn't have the rights to choose abortion simply in the grounds that they have practiced safe sex using condom. if they feel they are mature enough to have sex then they have to be mature enough to raise the baby. the only reason i can accept an abortion is where the situation poses danger to the mother and the baby eg. if continue with the pregnancy mother or baby or even both could die. then to me in that situation abortion is acceptable. another thing that i wud like to ask everyone here...assuming that the baby is found out to have problems during scanning...how reliable is the scanning? is it 100% accurate and reliable? i don't think so. i am sure some of u might have heard stories where couples have been told during scanning that their baby is going to be a boy but end up as a girl when borned, and vice versa. and i have even came across a couple who was told that their baby is going to be born with heart conditions, but end up absolutely healthy and normal when born. so do you guys want to take the chance and play GOD by ending one's life just by the scan results?

to all couples out there...please be responsible okay. if you want to have sex but don't want to get pregnant then please please have a protected sex. coz it only took a single sperm and a single ovum for gurls to get pregnant kay. and those two are teeny tiny lil things. once u get pregnant then it will lead to a lot more probs if u r not ready. so always think carefully before u have an unprotected sex.

well to me i'll never ever allow of wife to take any birth control pills... i personally believe that any pills that is messing up with ur normal body cycle (in this case period) is bound to have side effects. and i have heard some stories where couples who took the pills find it very difficult to conceive when they decided it is time. i want to have kids so i'll be gutted if that happens to me. so pills are a big no no to me. besides u can use condoms or other contraceptive methods. personally i wud recommend condom as it is easy and effective.

i strongly agree with having baby as early as possible. if i'm not mistaken women have a fixed number of ovum with them that they will continue to produce over the years, hence the menopause when it is depleted. basically in the early stages the quality of the ovums are much better and as women getting older the quality decrease. so if you have baby early the chances are you will get a much stronger and healthier fetus thus less chance of miscarriage. another point that i see is that if you delay having ur baby...then by the time u retire all ur children might still be studying or even worse...still studying in primary school. that might pose a prob from a financial point of view. then the other thing is mortality age in malaysia is not that great. how many stories do u heard of retired husband dying of a hard attack but still got small2 children?

err..i wud say condom coz it is easy and effective. if ur partner feel that the texture of the condom is hurting her then apply some lubrication. regarding pills...i don't and won't allow my wife to take it. eventhough docs said it's ok to use, but i personally believe that whatever pills that intervene with how a body normally works (in this case period) will have a long term effect. i have heard some stories that couples who take pills find it very diff to conceive when they decided it is time. so just be careful gurls.
