wiNd 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2006 yea, pumping up the car is easy, changing the tyre is easy....the hard part is opening the nuts up, especially if the nuts are tightened with eletrical tools.
anthem 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2006 it wont drive u nuts if u open them while chewing peanuts...
ken 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2006 Most girls won't do it even if they know. Too much effort for it and not so easy for them. They must learn to do it in case of emergency like hp out of battery or no service. So you can't call for help unless you flag for passing car to stop and help you. But do you trust this strangers when you alone.

CyBeR 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2006 I dunno why you'd need to know how to change tyres. I don't mind stopping to change a tyre for a pretty girl. Maybe get a phone number, a short chat and a free drink while I'm at it. It only takes a few minutes anyway, and I'm hardly ever in that much of a hurry. Aikzhou a.k.a IcEy 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 Well, CYBER! I do agree with you.. Anyway, ladies, you should get those 1ton (RM30-50 each) hydraulic jacks so its way easier to jack up the car for tyre change. Also, for those nuts tighten by air-guns, I suggest you get a nut open like this type --> + so you can take of your shoes and step on it and jump like crazy on it so the nut will loosen (make sure you don't turn it the wrong way or it'll only tighten up more!).. oh.. before i forget.. ladies that is less than 45kg.. I think you will have a hard time jumping on the cross nut-opener .. you girls are just too light!! Or the best solution if you are stuck in Klang/P.J/Subang area, you can always give me a ring! The charge? Only a cuppa yummy Ultimate Icemocha at Coffee Bean. Hehehe

icednyior 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2008 (edited) Changed spare tyre for my mom all the time (lucky so far only twice). She was driving a Honda CRV summore. THe tires are seriously really HEAVY! Anyway, its quite easy la. the leceh part is jacking the car coz I only got the manual jack. I changed the car tyre twice on a CRV and once on a Honda City.Frens call me the official honda car tyre changer (; )everyone should learn how lah. If you're stuck in the middle of nowhr (like a lonely highway) who's going to change the tires for you? Edited June 10, 2008 by icednyior

Joukowski 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2008 or you can use a tyre repair kit which consist of a compressed air/chemicals can, which injects air/chemical mixture into the tyre to reinflate the tyre and seals the leak at the same time so you can drive away immediately & get your bf/hubby to fix the tyre later.I'd rather change the tyre out immediately, but as a female, sometimes there's no telling where a flat might occur. Also, please be advised that you can drive a car with a flat tyre for a few kms before you damage the flat tyre beyond repair - so if you get a flat, always drive to a safe and level spot out of traffic before stopping & getting out to change/use a tyre repair kit.
