HELP!!! Face is very oily and full with whiteheads

Recommended Posts

Hi, my face got many whitehead /acne n rough after my first facial at Murad. I think may be the Murad facial is not suitable for me. The problem is, all the pimples are poping out now n i dare not apply any moisturizer, scare it' will become oily n more whitehead. sad.gif

should i go for another facial at other salon to clear the rough skin or stop using products first (Artistry -which doesn't
hav much big problem on my face before the facial)?

is the Monrose purying lotion suits combination skin? (not too oily skin)

thanks...

Hi, i think u shouldnt go for facial so rush since you got pimples poping out now as some beautician which might not be so experienced might even worsen your condition now. May i ask, your pimples appear before your period usually or only happen to u after tis particulary facial? If it is so, jus give it some time. Use mild clenaser and some Tea-tree oil might help. Usually if 1-2 pimples pop up during my period time, i will use Rosa-T which i got from guardian and it did lessen the redness as well as clear it up within days. I got my Monrose purying lotion as well, it did clear up whiteheads on my jawline after i applied only on tht part of my face as i scare it will dries up my skin (due to the salicylic acid inside) Maybe you can email the seller? She is a great consultant and she give every information very detailed. smile.gif Edited by Neiviv

From ur post,it seems like ur pores are all clogged. IT will be a great idea if u skip using make up now.
And if ur using sunblock on face, please make sure u practise ddouble cleansing
Also, start using basic skin care. Look for oil free moisturiser since ur experiencing the excess sebum problem. For acne, use tea tree oil. That should help to clear ur acne in 3 days.
And becareful with beautician as the unskilled beautician can leave marks and scars on ur face if shes isnt good in extraction.
Cos the main rule for acne is to never squueze them, let them heal @ the own pace

Try reducing your intake of carbohydrates and sugar - breads,
creams, cakes, confectionery.

It can be a sign of fatty acid imbalance - omega 3 to 6 ratio.

Try some evening primrose oil capsules, say six 500 mg caps
a day.

Some of those which combine omega 3, 6 and 9 into one capsule
are even better. I think you can find Udo's Choice here.

hi,
which salon you choose?
since you are having pimples, you have to choose a salon with good reputation
some beautician that no responsibility will only tell you how bad ur skin
and ask you buy this buy that, do this do that..

Hi there lady, It could be the product you just switched, causing it to clog your pores. As far as i know, there'll be some products more prone to clogging pores, but this problem can always be solved if you use a make-up remover at the end of the day. Sunblock is not considered as cosmetics, but the texture is usually very thick, and needs to be removed by a proper make up-remover. Try Shu Eumura cleasing oil for face, i swear to it. Or Estee Lauder Take it away Gentle cleasing oil most suitable for sensitive skin.

2. Heard that Cellnique sebum gel is good, but only to be used at night to help get rid of black heads and white heads. But it doesnt prevent you from getting new blackheads/whiteheads. Hence, additionally, you have to exfoliate your skin, twice a week (for oily skin), then you add on a product - Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizer to shrink your pore size, which will prevent your pore from storing dirt and further producing black/white heads. I swear to Estee Lauder's Pore Minimizer, it's amazing, will make your pores almost invisible, but you've to be hard working and use it every morning

3. Since your face is always oily, on top of all the skincare you use, top up with a loose face powder. It'll do miracle in absorbing oil, making sure your face is always fresh. Try Clinique loose powder or Ettusais amulet powder.

Visit my blog at www.beautyguruguru.blogspot.com for more info. Hope my tips help.

Oh ya, speaking of which, Ettusais will be holding a beauty workshop. You'll have to pay RM90, but it is fully redeemable.
On top of that, they'll give you an eye tinted colour (sort of an eye concealer) worth RM81 + extra door gifts.
Workshop period is in KL date 28th august till 31st august 2009.

Do visit my blog www.beautyguruguru.blogspot.com to know more, and how to book yourself a place.
Hope this info is helpful smile.gif
