cheesillicious 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2004 SOS... im looking for one myself. Hmmm.. from the cheapest "fair & lovely" undereye cream (got it when i worked for the roadshow) till Lancome Blanc Expert, i still look like a sleepless racoon.Maybe we should try to cure the root..ie, sleep more! And detox!
GeniE 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2004 Try using Elizabeth Arden's Good Morning Eye Treatment , it worked for my friendBut i think back down to the core, Smoking, drinking a lot of coffee, soda or caffeine beverages will usually make dark circles worse. those not eating right and nocturnal creatures too, beware, it'll make situation worse. so, if you did any of the above, no matter how much you spend, it'll haunt you again and again.anyway, just share with you gals a bit, i do it the natural way take slices of cucumber or sliced raw potato cooled in the fridge and put them on the eyes. i use Iced frozen used tea bags too are good for exhausted eyes, dark circles. learnt it from some sites long long ago hope everyone has shiny, watery and pretty eyes !~! Sheryl 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2004 hey the potato trick is more appealing to me cos it's a budget one! hahaHow does potato work huh to get rid of dark eye circles? yeap. da potato is suppose to help reduce dark circle.its recommended by a few DIY spa i checked on to. i m waiting to try it out for myselfs too.. hehee.. to many late night studying. so, da eyebags and dark circles are building up. i have tried a few cosmetic product for my eyes but doesn't really make much improvement on me. so.. been looking for alternatives. but then, the spa lady says no matter what treatment we put on, if we don have enough sleep and water, the dark circle will always b there. da most important thing is to have at least 8 hours sleep and drink LOTSA ------ WATER
michellechen 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2004 Geez.., I'm havin this prob 2... Dark eye circle n dry undereye area with fine lines... I tried usin concealer 2 cover d dark eye circle but then, those fine lines become mor noticeable coz of d thick texture of d concealer...Juz started using La Mer eye balm after recommended by a close fren of mine. I found tht d undereye area is much softer n less dry, but sad 2 say, d dark eye circle is stil ther... ;(

michellechen 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2004 try not tp put so thick concealer...i ve de same problem....la mer? izzit good? my fren also recommended me tis brand..especially eye care...but not cheap ho... If I dun put enuf concealer, it won't cover... It's not tht I wear EXTREMELY heavy makeup, but I feel tht d rite amount of concealer which supposedly cover those dark eye circle is leavin it looks dry... So I hav 2 choose... Either d dark eye circle or dry undereye area... Wht's UR choice?La Mer IS good... But it's WAY 2 expensive 4 wht it does... D eye balm used 2 b RM470, now it RM500(15ml)... Creme de La Mer is RM460 (30ml), used 2 b RM370 & RM810(60ml), used 2 b RM690... Wht an increase..! If u r not havin a severe case like me, I dun think La Mer is worth it... It's kinda like d last option 4 me... ;(

Peachgal 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2004 Talking bout dark eye circles, wonder if you gals ever experience someone saying that they like your dark eye circles. I did. Was studying for few wks din sleep. So the cirlces build up, inches thick. My fren saw it and that fellow say, "C your dark eye circles. So dark. I like it. Make sure you keep it." I was like are you serious? But anyway, looks like having dark eye circles is not that bad. At least there are still ppl who appreacite it.
