Laser treatment

Recommended Posts

i've splurged on DErmalogica for the past 6 months. I have very very oily skin but i think DErmalogica is pretty good for me...have fewer outbreaks now...but i still have acne scars & deep scars...so would like to find out more on how to improve my skin texture.

My skin is sensitive and will have outbreaks very easily, thats why i'm very wary of what products/treatments i try...

perhaps i can find out more about SKII since it has helped your scars ;)

before that how did u treat ur acne problems ? isotretinoin ?

coz i think it's better to do laser treatment only after ur face is stable.....

if u read chinese, u can read the posts regarding mosaic laser treatment in the link that i provided on the last page...

i still trying to calm my face now...really hate those outbreaks...*sigh...

After laser treatment your skin will become thinner and also more sensitive. Ensure you use only mild miho bio foam face wash and ensure you do apply enough sunblock before you go out. Especially if you did laser on the face eg to remove fleckers. It does not mean that it will not appear again on the face after laser. Avoid direct contact with the sun.

Wow.. i read the WHOLE thread. This is interesting, someone mentioned something about internal stuff, where our body needs to get rid of the toxins and also due to sensitive skins and hormonal issues... =/

Anyways... i looked through Dr. Ko's site, seems promising and lately, this thread, alot of people actually have complimented on Dr. Ko's works, so ii think it's your choice.

I have always had sensitive skin, which really is a bummer, but it's genetic.. for my family and i, my skin is just so sensitive, but only my face gets the worst cuz it heals slow, but other areas of my body is smooth -__-

I'm wondering, which do you guys think is the best? Say, if not for the chinese herbal drink or SK-II or Yanko.. do you think taking the thought of Laser is good? =(

I've been thinking a long time, tried to not resort to it and not take this option but try new products..

Skinorene, Delacin-T .. <-- really effective and dermatologist proven.. yet it works for a while, then i get the probs again.. sensitive skin is terrible.. =(

You guys have any ideas on what to do? With at least 2 - 3 months of good results?? Or you think i should take into consideration about the Laser treatment?

Help? T_T

Thanks!

u r thinking of laser to treat ur sensitive skin or wanna get rid of facial blemishes ?

if just for sensitive skin problem, i think there r some mild non-ablative lasers that treat that...maybe requires a few sessions...

anyone know any good skin doctor beside the Dr.Ko in klang? too far lah...

high recommend Dr Nathan at wisma PKNS, his son Dr Rueben in Damsara & Dr Ranjit in SS15. Their clinics are ALWAYS crowded and requires a long wait. Proof that they are very good dermatologist for sure.

if ur skin is not that serious why not start with something light like microdermabrasion first? laser treatments are for those with very very very bad skin condition...( side effects are broken capillaries that will only show few years down the road ).

Hi there, Dr Ranjit has no consultation fee while Dr Nathan charges RM30 or RM50 (can’t remember). I’m currently seeing him tho. However I feel the most affordable dermatologist is Dr Ranjit.

Has anyone tried TCA Peeling instead of doing laser treatment at clinics? Coz I am awaiting shipment of my order from USA at the moment. Planning to do it next weekend (coz it'll be a long weekend due to the Hari Wilayah public holiday next Monday) - just incase my downtime will take longer coz my skin's rather sensitive and unpredictable. I bought mine at EzPeel. It says no downtime but I am not taking the chances :) Btw, I bought this coz it really promises a lot of things based on independent reviews and testimonials on other websites, even the lessening or total "eradication" of acne scars and other types of facial imperfections (freckles, birth/pock marks etc). My acne scars arent severe, just a few black dots across my cheeks but I notice that no amount of skincare products would help diminish those, hence went for the option of TCA Peel instead ;)

Btw, the TCA strength is 18% for the one I ordered ie EzPeel - as I was informed, is a mild enough solution for a DIY session at home. Anything above 20% would be safer if administered in clinics by professionals.

i would like to take this opportunity to reply to this quotation which contain inaccurate and misleading information bout my clinic services. the person who see me supposably has sunburn is actually suspected of having systemic lupus erythematosis cos of malar rash on both cheek. www.emedicine.com check SLE. this kind of condition can be life threatening if not detected early and the person has gone under sun for prolong period of time overseas and this can trigger of things lilke kidney failure etc. therefore the need extensive blood test to rule out this and any damage resulted. luckily all are negative which is good news for him.but doesnt mean he has no skin problem. in fact he has a sun related chronic actinic eczema/dermatitis www.emedicine.com check CAD chronic actinic dermatosis which not commonly diagnosed in tropical countries here unfortunately. these kind of patient need good sunblock and medication to prevent worseing which can lead to a thick coarse skin. is a solar dermatosis, sun related problem. when i see him the second time my notes said he is getting better, blood report taken and explain. i hv also called the person involved and to clarify my concern on his health and the rational of it. i hope ppl dun see me as a quick buck person without any basis of treatment.

for reader info, i dun advertise in this website. never. i dun wan anyone to accuse me of advertising in this website. just wan this website to b a good consumer guide to treatment, hope all reader give accurate info for benefit of all. thank you.
