RICH CHOCOLATE CAKE

This is an easy recipe for people who just started baking because basically you just dump everything into a big bowl and start mixing. And best, you dont even need to weigh the ingredients, a good cup will do. Don't forget to preheat the oven/microwave for 20 mins before you stuff them into the oven.

185 g butter

2 tsp vanilla essence

1 3/4 cups castor sugar

3 eggs

2 cups self-rising flour

2/3 cup cocoa

1 cup water

Grease a deep 23 cm round cake pan, line lase with paper; grease paper.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, beat on low speed with electric mixer until well combined. Increase speed to medium, beat for about 3 minutes or until mixture is smooth and changed in colour.

Bake in moderate oven for about 1 1/2 hours. Stand 5 minutes before turning on to wire rack to cool.

Note: 190C degrees for 1.5 hours can do.

Sometimes, accidents do happen...
