  5. Hi Lydiana You might be ovulating, cos I've once read that some ladies bleed a little while ovulating, it's rather normal. But if you're really worried, I really do suggest you to consult with your gynae. They can give you the best advice. Cheers
  6. My favourite will have to be Damansara Village Steamboat Restaurant in SS23. It's behind all those Marco's Pizza and King Crab opposite Kelana Jaya LRT station. Directly opposite the Shell petrol station (previously Projet) The seafood is so fresh that sometimes the prawns come to you still alive and kicking. The ambience is pretty good as well. Open air concept with small little huts for privacy by the side. Soup is a choice of clear soup or some herbal thingy which I highly recommend. I personally don't fancy those tom yam steamboat cos you can't really taste the ingredients, all taste the same after cooking it in the tom yam soup. Those clear soup, the more you boil it with your ingredients, the better it tastes at the end. Pricing is not too bad if you look at the whole package of the freshness of the food, excellent service and great ambience. No I don't work there, haha Just so happens that I like this place a lot, and hence, this is their blog, you can visit it for directions to the place. http://www.damansaravillage.blogspot.com/
  7. Bisou! Asian Heritage Row! So nice la their cupcakes!!! (Next to Bar Savanh) And d'lish in Mid Valley! Ooh! Heavenly!
  8. My guess is that the more you try to "restrict" the citizens of a country and so much censorship going on, people tend to be more rebellious. Back in the 70's and 60's when the country is not as strict, such inhumane crimes were unheard of. Somehow I guess most goverments think that the more you clamp down on sex and prostitution and all that, the people will be more civilised? But no, people need somewhere that they can release whatever they need to release. All that the government need to do if they ever legalise prostitution is to have more laws around it, and actually ENFORCE it. Not just cakap, apa pun tak buat. But to get to that kind of mentality, our cops need to buck up their system. No corruption within the police force. How? By increasing their salary and more benefits and recognition? But how to do that when our goverment is busy spending all our taxpayer's money on things like sending that stupid angkasawan to space? And to think they're actually planning on a second trip for the second angkasawan. Priorities are all mixed up. We've got the twin towers, highest twin towers in the world! Whee! But so what does that prove when the citizen's welfares are being neglected? They rebel, hence causing the alarmingly increasing crime rate. Just my dua sens.
  9. Yup you're right Elayne, pantyhoses are making a comeback. Retro is the new "IN" thing now. I find soxworld has quite a wide variety of stockings as well. Not that pricey as well. Quality not too bad either. Hope this could be of some help. Cheers!
  10. Very well said Mandy I do, however, understand sad girl's predicament. She might be thinking, hey, the apple doesnt fall too far from it's tree. Hence, thinking that each of the fallen apples might be of the same. But they are not. They might have the same genetic mix, and they look the same. But what is inside, is extremely different. Different conditions on the side of tree that the fruits are on may grow separate results. Similarly, sad girl, you cannot judge your bf for what his brother has done. They are both very different individuals. And as he worries about losing his job, you as the gf, if you really love him, cannot doubt his words, but you can only stay by his side and continue to motivate him to be more successful in his career, so that he can achieve what he wants, eg, getting a place of his own. You need to restore his confidence and reassure him that you love him for who he is.
  11. Grande Caramel Macchiato with low-fat milk for me anytime. If not then it'll be a low-fat latte with less foam. Starbucks seem to be more attentive to their patrons, the ambience is usually better, and brighter. I don't really know what is it that attracts so many people, but coffee bean seems like it caters to a slightly older crowd compared with starbucks, which seems like a more trendy place to hang out for youngsters like us.
  12. Errrrr.....something that is used to link the cuffs of the shirt together? It adds a nice touch, class and elegance to normal shirts, and also they can show their personalities. This above shows a male model wearing it (it looks liike a button on the end of his sleeve) Then here are some nice cufflinks and how they look like. Make sure the shirts have french cuffs on them tho. They are plenty out there, even novelty ones that add fun, with footballs on it, F1 cars, speedometers etc.
  13. You bought him a nice shirt for his birthday shin shin? Then you can buy him things that complement the shirt, a gift box for instance, that contains cufflinks and ties. Ties you can get goldlion, pierre cardin or marks and spencer below RM100. For cufflinks, I just saw some nice ones at marks and spencer for RM 49, or a pack of 3 for RM 99, quite reasonable. You can try aftershave lotion instead of perfume which may be a bit too cliche. Apparently according to guys who uses aftershave, they usually really like it once they start using it, and there's less ingrown beard. Good luck buying the presents that he will like, but most importantly, personalise it to his liking, he'll be glad you made that effort (if not you can complain later, haha )
  14. All of us are superficial to a certain extent, we choose the nicest looking bag, we choose the nicest looking shoes etc... But when it comes to friendship, hunny, this guy doesn't deserve your friendship, move on! There are so much more wonderful men out there who totally accepts you for who you are, we don't need people like that idiotic guy. Is there anything that we need to prove of ourselves to people as such? That if we can hang out with him, oh wow yay, we're pretty??? Please lah tell him to go get a life, is he even good looking or rich or whatever in the first place? Cos clearly he has an arse of a personality tho. Tell him to go look in the mirror and see what an ugly person he really is, then forget about him, he's not worth the time for you to get agitated over like this. To answer your question, no, not all men are superficial. And for guys who tell you straight away that you're not beautiful, tell them to go fly kite la.
  15. I really agree hands down on this topic. I'd really rather carry a brandless bag than to carry a fake. What's the point in them, I really don't get it. To "fake" that you can afford that 5k bag? Heck, I'll buy a watch with that amount of cash. At least it doesn't go out of style as fast, and it will match most outfits and occasions.
