  1. Hi, I am sorry to reply so late. I hope you get to read this. My skin was really bad last time but that was about 4 years ago. I like Sherine because she doesn't force me to buy things. I have to admit that you need to go there often, about 3 weeks once if your face is bad. And she will tell you not to wear make-up at all to clear your face. A lot of girls won't listen, but it really works. Her blackhead gel is good and once you finished, your face will feel very clean. But suffer la, a bit... If you wanna try, call her. Since she won't ask you to buy things, you can go once and then stop after that if you don't like. Not very expensive, only about RM70 - RM80
  2. Sorry to hear that, Cyndi - maybe I should've told her first. She's actually quite nice. She doesn't use the computer or internet or whatsoever, maybe she's a bit paranoid too. I'll call her to explain and if you change your mind, you can call her again. Really sorry about that!
  3. It's within walking distance to the LRT station.

    SK-II

You're welcome... I hope it suits you and people say you look younger next time I hear from you

    A-levels.

Basically where ever you study your A-levels is the same. The most important thing is your grades and the subject they offer. First, determine what you want to study for your degree. Check out the university's A-level subject requirements, ie, what subject, grades. Then go for the college that offer the subjects you want. If you want to know how good they are, ask them about their passing rates, how many As or Bs their students get, which university and course their former students go on to. Be savvy in questioning.

    SK-II

I actually don't depend only on SK-II. I have a very effective blackhead remover gel. Check out my post on the facial center that I go to. They helped me a lot on the blackhead and keeping it clean. And I use only the Essence. I use a variety of cleanser and toner (like Simple, Olay, Biore). One thing I like about the Essence is how it had cleared my scars. I break out a lot along my jaw line last time and my itchy hands also didn't help much. When I started using Essence, my pimple slowly reduced and when they are all gone, the scars also slowly reduced. A lot of people commented on my improving face. The happiest thing for me (and I think of this every time I feel painful buying the essence) is when someone said I look younger (kekekekee) But I do know that it doesn't suit every one cos I heard from some people that it is not effective for them. Dunno la, it seems that it is very effective for me. I tried so many other things for scars, pimple, pore reducing, none worked. If you can get hold of a small sample bottle (30ml) then it is great. I think I first started with buying their gift pack (during Xmas n other celeb) where they have a full size cleanser, full size toner and 30ml essence. Not so expensive like a full size essence, so, you might wanna consider. Their toner (or Lotion, they call it) also has Pitera, although not as much as the Essence
  7. It's very near to Sogo - if you take the Star LRT, then stop at Bandaraya station. My facial usually costs me around RM70, inclusive of facial, extraction, massage and mask. If my blackhead gel finishes, then I will buy a fresh bottle at about RM60. If you don't want to buy it, she will charge RM10 extra for the use of her gel
  8. Any one who finds it convenient to travel to KL and looking for affordable facial centres - I am going to one in Campbell Complex. Been with her for more than 5 years. She is the only one who does the facial, so, appointments are needed. Things I like: 1) She doesn't pester people to buy things. I have never attempted to go to places like Adonis, Cellnique, Dermalogica or VL cos I know they will pester me to buy their stuff. Usually, I will just go there and get my face cleaned (extraction of blackheads, etc) and use the products that I like at home 2) Her blackhead remover gel is AMAZING! I don't know if its available anywhere else, but definitely not in shops. She even taught me how to use the gel at home. Definitely much, much more effective than Biore's pore pack 3) She does other stuff too, like eyebrow trimming (FOC during facial), waxing, eyelash perming, etc. She does whitening, etc as well
  9. I actually like Sunplay Water in UV SPF25++. I think it suits my oily skin. You can try Biore's Face Milk (white colour bottle). You have to shake well before use and when you put it on, it turns a bit powdery. I don't like it cos I think its too dry and like I mentioned, made my skin peel.

    SK-II

I must say that SK-II's Treatment Essence worked miracle for me! And I agree that it does not really suit every one. The prob is, I have tried lots of over the counter products but my pores remain clogged, pimples remain coming out and scars remain forever. But after using the Essence, my face is smooth! Every one commented on my smoother skin. I don't use their other products all the time, only the essence and eye gel.
  11. My face is extremely oily and everytime I use something 'heavy' it caused a lot of blackheads and whiteheads. I tried to use Biore's Face Milk but I think it not suitable for me - made my skin peel!! I tried Sunplay Water in UV and it suited me well. Try to buy the 10ml small tube to sample first.
  12. Hi there, Has anyone considered buying or own a facial massager? I read about one called Tua Viso by Beauty Impress in The Star all the tiem but it's quite expensive! Watson's has their own and it's a lot cheaper but would you gals think it's as effective?
  13. I forgot to say -- summore they have this lifetime guarantee programme. If your short-sightedness comes back, then they will treat you for free. But then you will need to go back every year for check up - RM50 consultation fee. To me, still ok-loh... think of how much u need to spend on glasses, contacts and solutions.
  14. I love travelling but I don't have a travel partner. I hate the thought of paying surcharges and no one to take over my camera for me. I want to have the assurance of having a trustworthy travel partner. Sounds familiar? Why not get to know each other here and discover a travel partner? I am very interested actually but still trying to save money - thought of starting this off first
