  1. I like a city getaway. Not the busy city like NYC but something more slow keyed like San Francisco and Chicago. LA disappoint me a lot. I think Malibu and Santa Monica is the best place if you're going to LA. Not the type who loves going to amusement park. Sometimes like going camping but only for 2 days most... When I go travel I like being like a local. I like trying all the local delicacy, walk around, and takes pictures around me. A little bit of shopping in every single places. To sum it up, I like pretty surroundings but beaches and those sorts does not interest me.
  2. Occupation: Field Engineer Basically I handled the day operation of an oil rig, making sure things get done on time, Very boring technical stuff Perks: The money of course, pays exceedingly well and you'll get to travel to some of the most remote, exotic places and see wild animals on the way. Cons: Isolation on the sea, no conventional holiday. Men all around you. no time to get pretty and go out to eat since you're surrounded by sea.
  3. if you're looking for a job in Malacca it's like waiting to have somebody died and only then you get the job or if you have insider. that's it I think. I know this because it's from experience.
  4. hmm depending on the bf, if he's good enough that I am willing to sacrifice my career.. But if it's just a good relationship and these moving allows me to further up my career then career I said. Heck I am moving to an oil field in Miri,Sarawak, that said I pick career over anything.
  5. I just finish my degree in chemical engineering. It's hard and you probably don't know why you do it along the way.But if you can find some sort of happiness from suffering yourself like I did then it's fine.Having a great course mates helps a LOT! Be prepared to sleep less than 4 hours everyday and none during exam time. It's a hard hard thing but you'll know the good feeling of overcoming obstacles. Point is not a course for the weak heart.. and it pays exceedingly well if you're willing to be a field eng in petroleum industry where the salary starts from 7k-14k depending where you want to be located. As I said before sacrificing is the key Chem eng= money.
  6. okay as someone who study in US, I would say go for US unless you want to be stuck with the horrible cold weather in the Canada.okay maybe I am being biased but you'll get the sentiment once you lived in the states.. Anyway the clue is pick a good city. The big city like NY may offer more excitement but then it's also very costly...I am suggesting SF because the weather is awesome, food is great and it is one of the beautiful city in the states.
  7. hey millie I liked Laura Mercier too even though it cost darn much.. I used the tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercier and it works the best! It makes your skin glow and cover the flaw well while still looking natural. I like the Benefit range of mineral foundations and whenever my skins looks red and have a little bit of pimple,I turn to it. It feels so light and doesn't makes your skin oily at all. The lipstick I prefer is always shiseido..the perfecting type. The other range is too shiny for me. I loves how it's moisturize your lips and never feels dry.Clinique looks good if you want to go for natural look because it gives you a hint of color without too much. Rimmel eyeliner works the best.Very soft. and I used Estee Lauder range for my eyeshadows. I think I'll go to chanel or dior for more dramatic looks but for now Estee Lauder is my preference.
  8. I used herbalife for a month and I did lose 5 kg but then I stopped after a month because it was a hassle to do all that in the morning and recently I bump into my old schoolmate and she told me that she got liver toxicity from using herbalife. The doctor said it was probably because she maintained a high protein diet as well. A few of her other friend also got the same liver toxicity and that just shook me to core! So I just want you guys to check with your doctor or qualified medical personnel because losing the weight is not equal to losing your liver.
