  1. Hi, using anti-aging product will not damage your skin one, in fact, it's the ingredient that you might be allergic to. this is also the reason why there's plenty of people whom experience different reaction towards the product. Whatever product that is recommended, good or bad, does not means that others people also facing the same. In anti-aging product, basically, there's some common ingredient which is 1) CoQ10, a kind of natural enzyme produced by human - focusing on anti-oxidant against free radical. So, if the product have this, it's either synthetic or extracted from plant/ others body. read this CoQ10 for more information. 2) Collagen - collagen needs vitC to stimulate the production of our natural collagen productivities. therefore, i don't recommend to use pure (100%) collagen, thinking that's it better, but actually it's a waste. Read here - Collagen 3) VitC - wellknown agent to reduce wrinkle. read here for the info. Vit C Every product from different company have different measurement of the active ingredient and how they blend things together. This is also the reason for 'this is effective, this is not effective' that the people experience. (and the price of cause) As my understanding, product for this 3 type of ingredient is not cheap, cause they need to extract the enzyme and the stabilising the vitC. I couldn't recommend what kind of product that is suitable for you because I can't see how good (or bad) ur skin is. But, as my common sense, I suspect your skin have uneven pigmentation/dull skin/haggi/freckles/wrinkle, the common problem with aging skin anyway, since you never use skincare product in your past 30 years unless you are god bless, which I assume you are cause if you have trouble skin you won't be asking us this question here. I have use many over-the-counter, pharmacy and salon brand products. However, I most prefer to the salon brand especially Intenseplus. Although their product is more on targeting mature skin which suits you alot, but I'm using their product on selected product. The reason I choose over their product is the ingredient content and the effectiness that I experience. their product is not cheap, but slightly less expensive than the Dermalogical. Pharmacy brand is my last count, which I never see any effectiness on my skin. I have use quite a number of Over-the-counter brand (the so-called International Brand such as Estee Lauder, Shiseido etc) but there's a common problem that I face with their products, it's the fragrance which put me in hell (rubbing my nose, i mean)
  2. wow! I think we can be good friend! wahahaha. That's the point. They claim themselves to be good in service and bla..bla..bla... end up, they offend the customer by requesting something out of the 'promotion'. that's ridiculious. If they really do the promotion, then they should put them into their promotion budget. Not asking the customer to extra pay it. Erm... Do you think it's a good business for us to train those 'beauty salon' bosses about marketing. hahaha
  3. Olay ar? I'm not sure cause I never use it before. Talking about Olay, I have a fren who can't use their 7 in 1one... she said it's too rich for her. She got breakout when she use it. Opps... out of topic d The Intenseplus eyegel is also effective one dark circle anyway, but if your dark circle is that bad will need long time to see the result. Unless some eyecream/gel that have the 'lightening effect' it got the colour pigment that reflect the light and will make the dark circle looks lighter.
  4. Erm... personally I don't agree with it. I'm using Intenseplus. If you mean that the 'acidic ingredient' is Vitamin C,E and A, yeah... they have it in the ingredient but that's what is required to feed our skin. Regarding to the skin sensitive and redness? I think it's dependant to individual. I use the hydro replenish mask, eye gel, cleanser, I think they are great. I have ask the beautician who sold me this products about this question, and I even called up the HQ to confirm. They said it's only the Recone Set that will 'peel' the skin because the technology is to encourage the dead/unhealthy cells to unattach from the tissues by restructure and detox the cell. That's also the reason that cause those 'skin flake'. I think this process will cause sensitivities and redness at this stage, and then the skin will recover back to healthy again.
  5. You can use a sunblock that is spray one. can buy from pharmacy. Spray on your hair lor... then can spray on body also. but not sure if there's SPF130 anot... I only know that sunplay got, erm... you check in pharmacy lor. I saw watson's got SPF 50 spray, 130 only cream type (the one I mentioned to you)
  6. I brought the product from Commy Salon in OUG. If you want to know more information where to get, I think you can check out the here...Intenseplus Website
  7. Yeah. ThankS!!! You see, there's so many people out there actually don't understand what's marketing about. They have a perception that marketing is just sales and do promotion or advertisment only... erm.... I'm actually quite sad about it, cause many of the beauty salon don't practise it. they know that they want to earn money, but they forgotten (and neglect) the fact that consumer is not stupid.... I really hope that those beauty salon really get a good marketing consultant to look at their problem.
  8. I recently understood that sunblock below SPF 15 can be cleanse with normal cleanser, but for sunblock or any skincare above SPF 15, then have to remove it with make-up remover. Since we are aggresive in talking about cleanser, I would like to share what's in my cleansing product I have at home now. 1) Bobbi Brown Make-up Remover - this one I use to remove light make-up or no make-up. It's water base, so, i'm comfortable to use it daily. 2) Lancome Bi-dual Make-up Remover - this one is water + oil base --> perfect to remove strong make-up especially my mascara 3) Dermalogical Precleanse - Basically, I don't understand why I buy this. This is the worst cleanser I ever have. 4) Intenseplus Gentle Cleanser - I just brought this, it's a gel type cleanser for sensitive skin. Used it couple of time, quite good. It can remove all the oil from my make-up remover. 5) Sensoieur Cleanser for Acne skin - This is really good also, it effectively cleanse the face but don't leave any tightness to my skin. Loves it... I'm still using this, alternately with Intenseplus
  9. the eyegel helps to restructure the skins' tissue and it also have firming effect. That's why it will help to make the eye look more firm and less finelines. I really can't remember much, I concern about the effect more anyway. I brought this in Beauty salon called Commy in OUG. I don't have their contact, cause I usually walk in. Maybe you may call 03-90578722 (their HQ) for the distributors list or go to Intenseplus website Actually besides applying the eyegel, we also need to do some 'home therapy' to reduce the dark circle/puffiness. erm.... this is what I do, when I'm applying the cream, I'll gently use my ring finger to massage the eye area. Then, i'll rub my balm until it's warm and place it over my eye. It work for me, but not sure if it's same for you all.
  10. Erm... cantopig, for your information, if you go to the beach, even you apply SPF 130, you will still get dark. You can't avoid it... the most important thing is not to get any freckles and uneven patches. As long as the tan is beautiful, then it's ok d. Anyway, applying oil (baby oil) on your skin before going for the tan will make your skin looks healthy, compare with those who din't apply, the tan will become dull and dead. This is my experience, the tan will be very even and look great.
  11. look for products that have the Vit C,D, and E to reduce the scar. If the scar is real bad, then look for Vit A (retinol-A) but this will cause peeling erm... I know that most of the skincare needs stabilise the ingredient and bind them together to make them effective... am i right? i'm not sure, i like to read articles about skincare formulation and production. So I notice that many of them have stabiliser in it. anyway, I believe that those skincare company did many research and test before they market the product. That's why I'm more comfortable with them.
  12. mixybabe, please don't say it's marketing trick... This is PURELY A CON JOB! They definitely don't practise marketing. The marketers won't practise something like this... it sounds to insult my profession... please don
  13. Yeah! there's alot of beauty salon who don't have any ethic after all. I think it will be great if Malaysian Consumer Right to be enforce, so those unethical company don't dare to buli us....

    eye bag

Hahaha.... you are so funny maybe you need some ginko supplement pill and berries. HAHAHA just joking ya....
  15. Huh??? Are you talking about the hairspray that I know? Are you talking about the hairspray that can harden your hair and fix it in shape? If yes, then it's a big no-no!! If you are talking about the hair protector mist, i recommend you straight use hair oil will be better. That's also the reason why i ask you to bring a hair mask there. you don't need to bring the whole bottle. you just put it in a empty bottle that is adequate for your trip. Remember to use it every night there. Normally nite time is the only time that you will have time. Do your hair and face must together lo, I guarentee you won't have frizzy hair and uneven face tone (this two thing is the most comment thing that will happen if you go beach) Don't just concern about the hair oo... if spoilt d can cut it off if face spoilt d very troublesome. must apply adequate sunblock. I also recommend to bring a bottle of aloe vera gel in case you got burning. It will immediately sooth down the burn and it have healing effect. Here's my recommendation on the must have list: 1) Hair Mask - use the pantene + hair oil (jojoba oil) 2) Face Mask - Intenseplus Hydro Replenish Mask, this one is hydrating and moisture. It will restore your moisture lost. 3) Aloe Vera gel - Fruit of the Earth is good. Soothing. I always have one in my bag for emergency use. Mosqito bit or ichy or dry everything.
  16. because cleansing milk can be double up as a massage cream. it help to stimulate your blood circulation and yet it's gentle. Using the correct cleanser to remove make-up or sunblock is already enoff... somemore, if really need, use the cleansing milk to remove first will add advantage as double cleansing.
  17. I have been using sunblock since I'm 15 year old due to my LUPUS diseases. erm... here's some of my review. 1) Sheseido - very white... i don't really like the texture. Has stop many years ago, not sure if they have change the formula. 2) Lancome - everything is good and fine, except the fragrance, it's too strong.. 3) Dermalogica - hate the texture, it makes my face so oily.... but the body one is good, it's a spray type, it's so convenience. 4) Intenseplus - good, especially the texture, just that I don't really prefer the tinted sunblock, i don't like the colour. 5) Sunplay - cheap... that's the best but also the end... i only use on my body... don't dare to risk it on my face
  18. apply a layer of aloe vera gel will help to sooth down ur sensitivities. can apply before or after the moisturiser depending the moisturiser texture type. if the moisturiser is gel type than can apply after, but if it's cream type, then apply before.
  19. hairspray ar? i'm not sure ler... why do you need a hair spray to go to the beach? do you really need it? SPF 130 means no need to reapply lor. Do you know that sunblock can be remove if you rub it? So it's not recommended to rub it with towels.
  20. Erm... It sounds bad. Maybe you can try on the Intensive Eye Therapy from Intenseplus for home use. It work with collagen that can 'pump' up the skin around your eye to reduce the wrinkles and smoothen out the fine lines. There's 5 treatment in a pack cost RM300 over. I can't remember the actual price. I have alot of friends (especially models) use it.
  21. Here's some of experience with these products: 1) Intenseplus Eye Lift Contour Serum~ gel-watery texture. very good lor.... It's quite worth it because this can last for so long. 2) Intenseplus Eye gel~ gel texture, I using this now, like it very much. good ... 3) Intenseplus Silky Eye Moist~ cream texture. Quite rich, suitable for dry and wrinkle case. Tried this before, too rich for me. 4) Anna Sui Eye gel~ gel-watery texture. I use for few months... don't see much result. 5) Dermalogical Eye cream~ light weight and creamy texture. Been using quite long, but has stop already and switch to Intenseplus. If treatment, highly recommend on Intenseplus Intensive Eye Therapy. It's a homebase treatment. I never use it before cause it's quite expensive. RM 300 over for a set of 5 treatments. I have a lot of friends in modeling industry use this. When they have show and lack of sleep, they will do the treatment and the result is so good.

    need help..

Moisture don't mean sticky... It depend on the product technology and texture. All the product that I use is either gel-base or water-base. The only cream base thing I use is the Sunblock. And i would like to remind you all that never use the same product for years. Our skin condition change accordingly to our age, lifestyle and health. Therefore, when the skin condition change, it means that we also need to change the product d. Maybe different range. the old one needs to use for others purpose lor.....
