Daphsta 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 Need your 2 cents on this issue. How do you cure back acne.
smileyc240 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 (edited) Use an anti-bacterial Body Wash. There are a few brands in the market:1. Neutrogena Acne Body Wash2. Clean & Clear Body Wash3. Cetaphil Try that with a loofa or a scrubber in the shower to exfoliate your body. Edited March 16, 2007 by smileyc240

smileyc240 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2007 (edited) does all the anti bacterial washes work????If your face have acne, you will need acne face wash rite? You can't use those normal skin care wash. So the same goes to your back. It's very difficult to apply cream on your back. The best way is to use an antibacterial wash to kill the bacteria. Acne is make up of clog pores and bacteria.Scrubbing your back with a loofah alternate day work very well. It can fade the scar. Trust me, your skin will be very smooth. But make sure your back acne heal first else will worsen the condition. Edited March 16, 2007 by smileyc240

#ChRiS# 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2007 I used to have this problem too, but after one of my friend told me stop drinking those, Milo, Milk powder, Horlicks or Vico which he said will make our body 'hot'... It's help!!! I'm free of that problem now... But consistency of exfoliating helps to maintain it too...

lover 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2007 Pills that are used to treat skin problems can be quite dangerous to our health and worst, may cause side effects to our body. I have back acne problems too. I went to a skin specialist and was given some sort of vitamin pill. not sure if it was B or D ( long time ago) . After a few weeks, i noticed that my skin gets very very dry. So the pills actually dehydrates your skin and body although it stops the acne problem. And once you take those pills, you have to follow on, or not it will come back wan =s . Some doctors will even prescribe pills that contain steroids to controll those back acne. 1 good example is Clinic Ranjit in Subang Jaya. So rather rather then eating those pills that might harm our body the other way, it is best to use medication that works from the outside and dont eat so much oily food/ fried stuff & drink at least 7 cups of water a day. Water can help to clear toxins from our skin and body.
Daphsta 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 I found that the Cellnique does work for bacne as well. Yea, it is a bit expensive to apply on the back but heck, it works. Also when washing off the conditioner from your hair, make sure it does not flow to the back as it clogs the pores causing it to break out.
alyssasara 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 (edited) for past 4 months ive been suffering from bacne as well.. but it got worst 2 months ago, it was terrible!! i was so troubled by it that i nearly went to see skin doctor!! but i've been testing and trying out some regime on my own, so after trying a few.... found this the most effective on me. 1) using aspirin mask/scrub on my back on alternate days. 2) apply neem leaf & Aloe veral gel on my back after every wash. 3) on those huge bumps, i will apply Retin A cream. started doing the aspirin mask/scrub on my back for the past 2 weeks, has significantly reduced new zits from popping. i've been applying the neem leaf & Aloe veral gel every day for past 1 month, my scars healed faster and better. It also helped to keep my back moisturized and reduce redness. So overall now, my back looks ALOT better than how it was a month ago. I still have some bacne , but significantly reduced and less active now , but the longer recovery process would be waiting for the scars to fade off. I heard it would easily take up to 6months. Shiro 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2007 So many review.... so for acne + reddish acne marks/scars.. wat is a good product to use? Plus the area after the pimple gone become darker ... any idea for that too ???
alyssasara 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2007 (edited) Shiro, Can just buy aspirin tablets from drugstore/pharmacy. I used 2 tabs each time, mix a few drop of water and one pump of my clinique liquid facial cleanser, lather up and apply to the affected areas.., use it as a scrub or leave it on for a few mins as a mask, then rinse off. Skin will be baby smooth after that. Retin-A cream requires doctor's prescription though, so you have to see a doc to get it. But if you're going to bangkok, you can just get it off the shelf @ Boots pharmacy. neem leaf with aloe vera gel i got it online, it cost S$28 for a huge bottle (240ml).. this gel is multipurpose, can use on irritated skin, insect bites, after sun treatment, sores etc. I'm using this gel on my dog as well.. to treat her itchy sores. you can email them for enquiries. http://www.neemshop.com/I would think aloe vera gel would work just as well too... so not necessary to get the one with neem leaf. After recovery from bacne, the scars will leave dark marks... its either you go for chemical peeling on your back. its fast and effective but costly. Or else just have to use whitening range of prdts on your back.. it's a long process surely, i'm going through it now .
