I used to say that modelling on a catwalk or posing for photographs couldn't be very difficult"Now I realise it is difficult, but not as hard as i think now.

The runway walk is an aspect that one so closely associates with a model, the perfect posture, the graceful stride and the underlying confidence so familiar to us all. However it is not something you are born with, the girls and boys from the catwalk didn't strut as toddlers they all had to be taught.

The art of the perfect walk is not reserved for models,as long as you are still wearing high heel , it need to walk in confident, it may not be necessary to stride down the pavement like you are walking down the runway for Chanel but certain aspects are great to use and make a real difference to any individual. Good posture brings an air of confidence to anyone.



A good posture is the basic of looking great especially on your wedding big day.

[b]HOW DO YOU WALK IN THOSE HEELS, ANYWAY?[/b]

So how do you walk correctly in high heels? You should walk often and correctly to prevent foot injury and pain. Your head should be erect, your back straight, and your arms relaxed and swinging freely at your sides. You should step out on your heel, move forward with the weight on the outside of your foot, and complete the step by pushing off the big toe. And don't forget, it's all in the hips, so start swinging them!

To make sure you don't fall over in your heels and totally embarrass yourself, practice walking in your new high heels before going public. Not only will you get used to prancing and gliding in your shoes, but it will also break your shoes in and make them more comfortable for you to wear. While practicing, always look ahead of you on the ground to be sure you spot all the places where you might trip or stumble If you are wearing a long skirt that the heels of your shoes might catch, practice walking in such a way that allows you to subtly kick your skirt away from your shoe with your knees.
