Police widen search for missing girl Huang Na

Not sure if malaysia newspaper got this news or not. Huang Na still missing and this Malaysian has go back to malaysia, he called his friend and say he didnt kidnap the girl, that incident involve another 2 girls who are related to Huang Na's mom.

SINGAPORE : Police are widening their search for 8-year-old Huang Na.

Besides the Pasir Panjang wholesale centre, they are also searching in areas around the West Coast Park and in Geylang and Telok Blangah, where Malaysian Took Leng How lived.

Police islandwide will also keep a look out for Huang Na while patrolling.

At a media conference on Saturday afternoon, a spokesperson said the Malaysian Police have been asked to help in the search for Took.

Took was the last person seen in Huang Na's company at the Pasir Panjang wholesale centre where he worked.

He was questioned extensively by police, the second time on Wednesday and he then failed to turn up for questioning on Thursday.

A spokesperson explained why the police had released Took but kept his passport.

Tan Puay Kern, Police Spokesman, said: "When we were interviewing him up to the point when he decided to disappear, we have not been able to nail him down, so to speak, with any evidence against him, so therefore we have no grounds at that point in time to detain him."

The police add that while it appreciates the efforts of the public in helping to search for Huang Na, it does not want volunteers to endanger themselves.

It adds that anyone with information should call the Police Hotline 1800 255 0000.

Police say Took is believed to be married with 2 children.

His Malaysian IC has a Johor Bahru address.

He last entered Singapore on 3rd October and has worked in Singapore for about 1 year.

The other places where the police have carried out extensive searches are HarbourFront and Ginza Plaza as these are Huang Na's favourite haunts. - CNA

I tink she's Chinese. She came from China with her mom.

Took is now in Malaysia althoh his passport is with the Singapore authorities. He was the last person seen with Huang Na. He called his wife and claims that another person took Huang Na. I tink he should go to the authorities if he's clean.

Huang Na was found dead naked ? how could someone do such things to a merely 8 years old !?
