Haha its ok, i've bought 1 week ago, during this one week of usage , i found its quite effective for the new acne mark, for old one maybe need times
Is the sebum controller effective ? How long have you been using it ?
Thanks :)
Night cream works very effective on my hubby, his face is glow after using it.:D If compare the sebum controller with purifying lotion, i find the sebum controller is more 'user friendly' as it is simple to use and works great on my oily face and it reduce those smelly whiteheads on my nose fast! for Purifying lotion, cannot simply apply lo, sometimes it may be too dry for skin. I hv bn using it for few months..

QUOTE (tubbies @ Aug 3 2008, 01:50 PM) well if your is a hormonal problem then i would suggest you go to a gynee and she will recommend Diane 35 or other brands of hormonal pills or you can try decilin t which you can get at your local pharmacy

well.. i tried it before. i have been to doctors, been to gynee, been to specialists but useless. none of them helped cos all they gave were 'HORMONAL PILLS' which were contraceptive pills!
anyway, im having evening primrose oil and Nuvafemme now. hope they help. but so far, no improvement on my face as i have been having them for almost a month.
hey i think u should try retin A cream.. it is available in any local pharmacies.... i too had the same prob... but my breakouts started 2 years back.. i tried all sort of products, tea tree oils n many more.. i even visited doctor n was under antibiotic n pimple cream treatment for almost 2 months.. but unfortunately there was no improvement at all... i came across about retin A cream in internet.. i gave it a try.. the cream i bought was RM 38.00... follow the instruction given in box.. ONLY apply at night, after cleaning ur face.. USE ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT.. i really was very very satisfied with the result.. Edited by sri

The sebum controller is good. I dun really a big results during the first few weeks, except skin oiliness reduced 90% without causing dryness.
But when i went for facial, my beautician did comment that those seeds on my face is very much easier to extract out. Eventually after 1 month using, i can see most of my whiteheads reduced obviously.

i had a very bad experience with monrose.initially the result was quite ok,but not too impressive,my whiteheads has been reduced a little bit.however, after using it for 3 days,my skin got so dry untill it peels off and all the sebum were trapped beneath my skin.i can feel the pain and tightening effect on my face even when i smile!my skin got so red,and the whiteheads, oil seeds were even more before i started using the product.i did follow closely to the skin regimen, applying moisturizer, etc etc...
i ve stopped using the product since then.and i guess my skin still need more time to recover as according to the beautician, the product is too strong that it has transformed my skin into a sensitive skin type
and the worst part is,i sent an email to the monrose skin consultant regarding the problem which im facing.her reply was,im sorry to hear about your problem.do email us should u need any help in future.
is that the only solution they have?it's not helping at all
Hi lianjye, monrose really made this big problem to u? All possibility ur skin type is not suit to use monrose? I read few opinions who ever used this product and most of them were satisfied with it's result, my mind is thinking to give it a try. But after ur post, i hesitate for it. May i know what product u using now? And how u cure ur skin after this sad thing happened?

i started using Sebum Controller about 4 weeks ago. within 2 weeks i noticed a vast improvement in my combination skin. i am less greasy now, and the persistent whiteheads on my chin and lip have virtually disappeared. It is great. :clapclap:

Beautee skin purifying lotion is enriched with Aloe Vera leaf extract, Salicylic acid and sulfur which designed for treatment of pimples and comedogenic skin condition. This lotion helps reduce skin irritation, skin blemishes and breakouts. After used, t can quickly fry up inflamed pimple lesions.

As for day cream, you may try Beautee BB cream for oily and acne skin with SPF30, this BB cream is specially designed for oily skin which contains lesser oil, it composes of natural botanical extracts suitable for oily skin type, it absorbs excess sebum too. Starting, i apply on my T-zone 2 times a day. but my face oil was reduced tremendously after just few days. So i reduced it to nose, lip and chin area only. :)

Just wanna share that Monrose Ad Night Cream is smooth, emollient but not oily. 1 pump is more than enough for single application. I personally find it has more whitening ingredients, and it does not as moisture as Hydro Boost .No doubt, it has shrunk my pores, improved discolorations from old acne scars and skin tone is much brightened. It takes a while to see results but if you bear with it you should see results within a month.
