I had done 13 chemical peels last year. It did improve my skin in term of texture, scar, plumpiness. I love the results. I did it at Rm 90 per treatment. I think it cheap coz it much more greater than do a facial.

suga, i din went to christina's coz i dun have RM2500 now. if ranjit, i only pay RM150 every month which is still okay for me. i m spending money every month for my braces too. yes i am doing BHA peeling. ya it's the 4th day. start peeling already very minor. ppl wont notice unless very close... Doc said the result is not as gud as laser, but peeling can cure acne too that's why i choose peeling.

i think it's erbium laser.. but doc said RM350. or maybe i am wrong.

im kinda concerned that the microneedling ive been doing arent all that effective.

i mean, it sure helped a bit to reduce the depth of the scars, but the acne scars are still dark and my skin is still noticeably uneven. and ive done it 4 times too. im so annoyed.

tomorrow im gonna do microderm for the first time and hopefully it will help reduce my acnes.

But it seems that Dr ranjit is much cheaper than Dr Christina chea..Bt for Dr Ranjit, he'll do the MD/chemical peels for u or his beautician will do it and he juz does the consultation?

Hi junnie, i did the peel on strict condition meaning by protecting my skin from the sun, no alcohol in products and try to use product with a lot of calming agent beside i also use BHA gel as a maintainance. I did not went on higher strength meaning 20% - 35%. Peeling wont make your skin sensitive if you really follow the procedures. And if you want to do the peel find doctor that perform peel using Neostrata product as they the company have Peel Booster in order to enhance peel penetration and target certain skin problem and i love the booster.

emi, u did the peel at RM90? u did it in Ting skin clinic? what kinda peel is it? AHA/TCA/BHA? my house is so near with Ting's. din went there cuz last time i call for MD price. the nurse told me about RM500.

Dr Christina clinic got V peels which costs rm800 per session..(peeling of 5 layers).Seems that quite few choices of treatments available in Dr Ranjit's clinic bt he charges vy reasonable and he is vy nice acc to my cousin la :-)

Hi all, I'm a newbie here but this thread seems to be rather interesting. however, just like to share my experience in chemical peel. since high school i had ugly pimples all over my face & i got a recommendation to this skin care centre that specializes in AHA/BHA peels. I've been going for monthly peels for years! since then i never had a single pimple which is awesome. the place i go to is in SS 17 Subang, behind Bacfree filters, near Lit hung primary school. they also have another branch in Taman Megah near Ming Tien food court. a single session cost about RM150 but it includes deep cleansing, extraction (optional), eyebrow trimming, face&shoulder massage, eye treatment, facial firming, peeling & mask. the duration for the whole treatment is about 1.5 hours. the best part is the facial firming cos it really helps with my double chin! there's a doctor there to give free skin consultations with appointments.

from this thread i read that a lota ppl suffer from chemical peel burns but safe to say, i've never encountered this before. they have different percentages of chemical peels to suit different skin so it's all good! microdermabrasion sounds cool & i've never tried this before. sounds very effective but dare not try! cos scared of the thought of having something scrubbing hard on my face!

u mean ur scar jz been thr a while only...later on will disappear...ya lo...ppl always high expectation...it is normal..me oso too...if ur not expect high, u will not get good result...jz relax...

but i heard fr u...tat is bad news to me...but i think we should have a positive attitude...

Dr.Christine said microneedling only can cure scar....since after de treatment, my face pop out many whiteheads...i will plan to do the microdermabrasion after this treatment...but i oso dun hv $$$...

My scars are mainly coz by the extraction by beautician (they pressed too hard until my scars vy dark...sigh). Microneedling is expensive! Rm2.5 K really can kill me..hehe. The Erbium laser at Dr Ranjit seems affordable for me..only Rm250. Emm..So how is ur scars now? Wow, u meant the redness takes 1 week to become normal skin colour? Then did u cover ur face wt anything when u go to colleage/work??

people....think twice before u do laser..dr's wont tell u one of the main side effects of laser treatments are stubborn HYPERPIGMENTATION few years down the road coz they wanna make $$$$..i acknowledge the fact that the results are very gOod with laser but u hv to suffer the side effects of it so i dont encourage u girls to do laser ...why do you think the dr's themselves dun do laser on their own skin?...8 out of 10 who did laser end up with serious hyperpigmentation so the probability of getting the side effects are very high...

those who opt for laser are normally those who are getting married and they wanna look pretty on their wedding day...

Went to consult Dr Ranjit today, rm210 for a BHA peel and 3 types of medicines to apply for acne marks, acc to him, will see the results after 3 weeks..:-). Really alot of patients in his clinic, until flooded outside!!god, luckily i did make an appointment wt him..he said i can fractional laser do for my pitted acne marks (if i want) after the marks have lightened coz this kind of laser wont help in lightening the dark marks bt only stimulates the collagen synthesis so that ur skin'll look smoother. I did ask him about the side effect (hyperpigmentation) of laser. He said this kind of laser won't hv tis kind of side effect, only those laser used for the wrinkles and dark spots (pigmentation)...well dunno how truth is that bt i don't think he'll lie for it coz the fractional laser juz cost rm350 (nt so expensive compared to other types of lasers).

any laser persay will cause hyperpigmentation..

dr ko in klang charges RM 2-3 k for fractional laser..and how come dr ranjit charge only rm 350 for fractional laser? u better do more research before deciding to be safe..it is our face to begin with so better be careful lerr..
