im going for my 2nd MD...my prob got improved a bit....but i still wan gambateh n continued doing that....so plan to do MN for my nx treatment...wishes can solve my pop-up pimples problem..then only can do Mn...due to my hormone imbalance prob...2day i ask Dr. opinion...she told me that i should take the oral contraception, which is the mercilon...i am consider now, whether wan to taking o not?i must sacrified sometin to make a decision..cause it will cause me fat..but i wanna my skin look better (no more acne)....then i must be do gym very oftenly...
babes, got any comment about this medicine...should i taking?

hey babes, anyone can recommend the mask of ur using now for oily skin,blemish-acne skin? Last time, i have mentioned i am taking the mercilon for regulate my menses...now i have seen the result of taking mercilon because my pimples is lesser ady..so nx time i can do my MN..so happy...wish can get better result for my prob...

Dear All,

I have read with interest on ways to alleviate scars in this thread.

Below is my experience in Europe.

I personally find:-

a) chemical peels rather abrasive and more for extreme scar cases;
AHA peels rather abrasive too;
c) Microdermabrasion - outdated, painful and abrasive and ineffective (if using the diamond peel)
- not as painful but less effective for deeper scars/craters (aqua microdermabrasion)

For those with light scars, it is pretty easy to solve. So far I find only one product which is botanical based and able to solve light scarring up to 85%. No acid involved.

For those with medium scars to deep scars, I saw a technique called Transdermal Micro Infusion Treatment whcih some of my frens did. Frankly I find this is the most efffective way to elleviate scars, not abrasive but definitely effective. Visible results after one treatment only;

hey babes, last week i went to my 3rd treatment of MN....long time din do this ady..around half of a year...dis times Dr did a hard job on my face... since i have see a quite moderate improvement for my scar...but my peeling haven complete yet...im still very worry about it.so i still need some1 to support me.Who oso doing this treatment...haizz so cham...cant go out this few day...coz my face really really very red after doing this time.

i think those treatment wont harm our skin...as long as ur skin was destroyed, maybe cause by pimples,acne or others..iit will get better result aft doing the treatment..i think it wont get ur skin thinner and thinner...

my status was like,acne been follow me for many years,even at some time it reduce,but it will grow back few months later again seriously...
so for my constatus which acne non stop growing can do this? after doing this can reduce acne grow again?

ive done over 20 sessions di...eheheh ( but after 7-8 treatment my skin is already almost flawless ) ..but i still continue doin MD as maintenance cuz off and on i get pimples .. i go once every 1-2 months sometimes if no time i drag to 3 months....

im not using any of her products except for her C-scape serum ( i find it good ) that's why i continue..the rest i use SKII...Cleanser,clear lotion, essence, repair c, skin refining treatment and facial lift emulsion

I used that previously before switching to other brand..it is good for oily & prone acne skin..however, I still feel that the texture is a bit sticky...Heliocare recently came out with an oral sunblock, which is to be taken orally...

actually, for my case...not a vy big prob i would say..atleast not those pitted or sucken scars..just normal type of old acne scar...becoz my skin looks dull and sin tone is uneven, open pores..so, i guess MD is suitable 4 me..haha...=) i going to do mine nxt week..=) so happy le..kaka...

the microderm treatment is really good i went for my fifth treatment today and my acne scars are almost gone..( not to mention chicken pox scars )..lol im very very very happpy with the treatment and i think i will still do microderm for maintainance purpose even after my scars are completely gone...like once a month..i rather do this treatment than facials coz i think it is much more effective in keeping acne at bay.. ...the doctor is a lady doctor with lotsa experience when it comes to skincare and very very helpful...go pay her a visit lar....she will take a before and after pic so u'll know how much ur skin has improved : )....

Honestly, i dont find Dr Ranjit that good...I have minor skin problem, and he needs to use a binocular to see those tiny bumps, then dismissed me saying that was caused by hormonal changes, didnt prescribed any medications as my problem is only minor, gave me some expensive creams that didnt work. Wen to a facial and has solved my problems, which was not due to hormonal.

i'm actually dying to go for christina chea..somehow, i do some research on MD...and i found that the price of doing MD is much more expensive in her place...where other place can offers less that 200 bucks...=/

Hi..in my opinion,it doesnt matter if she/he is a qualified dermatologist or not as long as it cures/solves the problem.Of course dermatologists meant for skin diseases,if u do a lot of surveys,most Aesthetic physicians are the one whom deals alot with the cosmetics side-scars,pigmentations,mesotherapy etc.& of course hv to exclude the so call'one-two courses" & certificates.Aim for docs whom have diploma (certified from singapore/Uk/Thai)& are well trained .See b4 & after pics..the best..if they are using botox,fillers etc..look for 'used-syringes,bottles' as a proof.Also those doc who do a lot of MN..they mst purchased a lot,so u can see on their shelves,display area.I rather pay a bit more for experienced doc to solve my problems then cheap cheap beautician,at the end u end up more $$ spent with no promising results.So dermatologist or not,aesthetician or not,beautician or MLM aunties??do surveys,dun jump into packages so fast yet.dr.alv

This is common sense, I think everyone is doing a lot of research prior in deciding...

It actually doest matter to us as long as he/she is a good doctor and solved your problem... However, it is also true that a lot of doctors have turned out to be very business minded...In Malaysia, there are so many patients dying because of the careless doctors..

Anyway, I do know that Dr Chea has spent a lot in buying the most advanced machines..thus, she sounded more like a business woman on this..She is still a popular doctor around..just that I dont like the way she pushed me for MD and injections (which i dont need them)...and she is selling at very high price..thats why I have opted for other alternatives...She might not be good to me, but as long as others find her ok and dont mind paying more for repackaged products..

hey there,,done my 1st MD today...at dermsense, kk sabah here..feel like so so oni...=(

is quite fast the process..1st they cleanse..then they start MD-ing dy..(i suppose it is a correct process rite?) after that...that beautician apply some sort of scrub, n they call it as crystal power to scrub on my face..quite painful though~~~=/, after that she help me to do a errr not-so-minor type of exraction..which is pain like hell eh...wuwawa...=( after that, she massage my face, body...blah2...i suppose tat if our face being exaract dy..cannot massage one ma..no? ok...after that she apply a cold mask on it...and then done!! 1 and a half hours oni for the whole process..kinda cepat eh...err..then after that i feel bit pain and redness in skin..due to that exaraction, i think...nw i'm putting some hydrating mask and soothing cucumber on my face so that it can reduce the redness...hopefully, the nxt mor will be more refreshed, radiant...keke

so far, my skin dosen't reallyexperience thatkind of smooth or radiant effects la....same~~it tooks time..i know...so, i'll on going to do MD...PLUS i myself found that the body shop vit C range that facial scrub is vy much like MD..shud give it a try ya....
