One should refrain him / heself to over shampoo your hair frequently. Twice in a day is maybe too often. Hair specialists recommended to properly shampoo your hair in alternate days, i.e once in 2days time. And this is the interesting part, why?? Our hair is just like our skin, naturally it generates moisture and natural oil to protect the hair. Over shampoo-ing your hair too often will leave your hair dried out, leeched from its natural oils, and damage your hair. You guys may cross check this info. I may be wrong as well

Syakirah, we should use dry shampoo whenever we need the normal shampoo (with water) effect; i.e nice smell, vanishing oil on hair and scalp and straigthening hair by giving moisture onto hair. And we need these same effects but just without getting your hair wet and without going the showering process. Dry shampoo application is as quick as 3 mins and it gives another (besides all described above) 1 good advantage against normal hair wash (using water), which is giving the added volume to your hair. However dry shampoo unable to conpletely replace the normal wet shampoo, but it is used in between those regular washes so that you wont need that regular wet wash as frequent as before
