Time table is flexible as students will personally arrange with the trainer. They use several make-up brands like, "Professional" & "Revecen" from Korea. Anybody heard of this brand, "Professional"? Students will need to attend at least 30 times of outdoor activities during the course of study. Any student who participate more than 50 outdoor activities will be entitled to take the C& G exam for free. From their brochures, they concentrate a lot in creative make-up. Students who study their Master Commercial Creative Art Make Up & Hair Styling Course also need to learn facial, pedicure & manicure. What worries me is: This school only showed me some samples of their Diplomas & Certification of Participation in certain events, but I have yet to see any sample of their MLVK and C & G certificates. For those who would like to know more about Whitney Academy, they will have a road show in Mid Valley this Saturday & Sunday (23/05 ~ 24/05 from 10am ~ 10 pm). Anyone has further input on these two schools? Please do share with us. from wat i know is their pro make up doesnt have facial , manicure n padicure, but u can join their facial class, they will teach u. and if u not sure about their syllabus, why dont u ask them? but 1 thing i can make sure is they will have additioanl charge for the student canot finish their courses in 9 months but oni rm100 per month, anyway tisis depend cases. my fren study there, and she is slow learner, she even cant finish her course in 9 months, but she very hardworking,they teach her very patient n atlast she finish her course in 11 month without penalty, cos my fren is slow learner. anyway, tis is all depend to the student, if u dont learn probably sure u cant finish la, but if u serious 1, it wont be any happen to u i sure. and my fren just back from outdoor n she is very happy to tat, she have changes to go for outdoor activities even she is not really good in make up, she feel confidence about it about whiteney, from wat u told us, they have to show their certificate lo, if not then u just becareful before paying deposit or courses fees.

I don't know whether it is solely to get us enrolled at their academy or what, but at least he seems sincere. Secondly, about S&S, the course is RM2000 more expensive than APT. True, their staffs are arrogant (I dunno why). But I saw a lot of students there, which convinced me not to worry about models during practice time & of course their reputation. Moreover, I also had a chance to see how the students' skills on the spot, and trust me! It's very nice (compare to other academies that I visited). Seriously, we are amazed... So now, here are the comparison... Both offer City & Guilds, which means they have the standard Both also pricey, but S&S is more expensive, but it seems more convincing.... and if I'm about to compare, APT require 6 months to complete the programs, while S&S require 8-9 months to complete the course So, now I'm confused which to pick..... I wish I can start in June.... So... so... HELP!!! ArrrgGGgghhh~~~ lovey, seem like u survey a lot, hope tat u will find ur academy to study. i think it will help others myb gal a lot. u r not malaysian? then where u from? do u understand chinese? becos from wat i know is, c&g didnt provide english paper in exam. they oni have chinese version. hope its help u a lot
