I have spot bald too...And I used Nioxin range System 4 because I have fine hair..It really works..You can try that out.. now the spot that used to be bald got hair already. The products I used under the range are:- 1. Nioxin Cleanser 4 (Shampoo) 2. Nioxin Scalp Therapy (conditioner - apply to scalp) 3. Nioxin Follicle Booster (apply on the spot / lesser hair - not all the head) 4. Nioxin Scalp Treatment System 4 These items costs me RM440 but I bought them from a saloon. Normally saloon selling at higher prices. Try to check out the products from the shops at Sg. Wang.. there are much more cheaper. If not mistaken, for the Follicle Booster, saloon price is RM 90 and Sg. Wang price around RM 60++. If you don't have spot bald, only losing hair... i recommend Despotic (I can remember the products name), but it's on green bottle, 500ml and cost only RM36. you can get this from a shop in Sg. Wang too... I can see the improvement in a month by 65%. So far, I have been using these products and it really works on me.. My hair loss problem mainly due to the stress. However I went to APT Professional Team the other day and the stylist actually showed to me that my scalp is oily.. which I have thought all these while, my scalp is not cos my hair is dry... oily scalp can cause hair loss too.. so i recommend you to wash your hair daily. however you can use hair thinning product alternate with some repair shampoo. Thinning hair products focused on the scalp and this cause the hair to be a little bit drier. That's why I recommend to pair it with repair shampoo.. bear in mind, never apply your condition or treatment onto your scalp...unless scalp treatment or conditioner (like the Nioxin conditioner I'm using) it will makes your hair loss problem worst. If the problem is serious, better consult a doctor.. but it might be fungus infection. I hope this helps... be extra careful handling the spot bald. 50 cents size is very big patch already... mine about 10cents only. you might need longer time to see the results... cos I dunno how long the patch was there already.. if it's newly spotted one, then I believe it's easier to treat.. the earlier you take action to stop the patch growing bigger, the better. I hope this advise helps.
