To automatically qualify for this “Training and Study Programme”, you must have the following criteria:

1. Malaysian citizen

2. SPM/STPM leaver or

3. Is currently jobless and below 25 years old



Basically, this is a 6 months (2 months theory/classroom and 4 months internship/practical training) programme which will cost RM5,300. You are entitled to take up a full loan by the government and only repayable once you got a job in the future. The classroom classes will be for 4 hours per day and 4 days per week whereas for the internship will be working hours pre-determined by your internship company. There are also lots of benefits in store for those who join this programme. Generally, you will get a basic monthly allowance of RM600/month for 6 months. On top of that, you will be paid between RM200-RM500 monthly excluding the excess hours worked when they started internship/practical training. Therefore, you will easily get RM800-RM1,100/month during internship at the designated training centres.



Other than that, you will also obtain benefits like accommodation, food, transport, and insurance which will be arranged by the training centres. Hence, this will accommodate outstation students as well. The minimum number of students required to start a class is 20.
