derave 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 some ppl got combination skin - oily on t-zone,normal elsewhere. if ur skin is combination skin, apply at oily zone only.if in normal areas with black/white apply to the black/whitehead ony.ppl with dry skin quite unsual to get blackhead due to their minimum oil production, but can get it too through the use of make up. when u apply on dry skin , u have to be careful that ur skin is not flaky when applying it.lastly, the gel is not for pimple.becareful. search for blemish gel if wanna apply on pimple. sebum control gel is a targeted products to treat with specific problem, and its effective. princess_ac 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2007 hey ppl...I'm Su May from Malacca, am 23 years old and been suffering from acne since i was 14. I've tried out almost everything to cure my acne. Was on a birth control pill to control it but nothing helps till i started using Dr.Seagar in August 2007Trust me when i say this...it cleared up within 2 weeks! i even have pics to prove. altho its pricey but it actually works! i noticed many said they face itchiness and redness. it is common and i think it is also due to over using it or applying too much at a time. There are steps that u have to follow strictly in oder for it to work effectively. anyway, just wanna share my experience with u people out there. So if anyone need any help bout this product, feel free to email me ok. i'll be more than happy to assist u whatever i can. princess_ac666@yahoo.com

Origins is my regular skin care, love the Dr Weil's rangeClinque is too harsh for me, esp the toner.... I dont know why my skin irritates when I use thatSame here! Vote for Biotherm!!!! Suitable for my skin i think~ Ciinque make my face too dry and my skin become extremely bad Cause some pimples too!

feliciaQ 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2008 I vote 200% for Monrose, but it isn't in the list. I have used it for 3 months and my skin looks very ....... i won't say flawless, but its healthy and radiant now. Even my hubby noticed that and this is the main reason i vote for it Its purifying lotion is definitely BEST for whiteheads!

shoedevil 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2008 I use a combination of SK-II and Olay - whether it's a counter brand (ie pricey) or a shelf brand (ie good price!), it doesn't really matter. Whatever works for you.I also believe in maintaining your skin from the inside - drink water, don't smoke, exercise, etcAnd good habits are important too, such as washing your face every night before bedtime, regular exfoliation and mask, the works!SO I vote SK-II and Olay! joychong 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2008 hey, there is really no best bestevery brand has their specialtiesdont be afraid to mix and mathdont let the sales girls tell that you must use this with thistake advantage of what each brand specialises inyou get the best of all brands but the ultimate key is to try, every type of skin is different and what may work for you may not work 4 meit helps to have a mother with skin that can take anythingbecause when something does not work it does not go to wastejoy
Li-t 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2008 Genetically I've got quite good skin, but unfortunately i've made it Sensitive because I wasn't careful about products I used. In the end expose to too many chemicals, now it's sensitive. I have used :La Mer - used for 3 months. First month was fantastic, after that rapid downhill and got red blotches and everythingEstee Lauder - used for 6 months. Then suddenly it really sensitized my skin and I woke up with severe red skin and dry flaking when I was travelling in HK. Kept applying more product hoping it would calm down, but it just made it worse!Dermalogica - didn't even use up the bottles of cleanser etc, way too harshly drying on my skinClinique - used this when I was much younger, didn't find it any different from (the old formula) Oil of Ulan, so I just gave it upClarins - only use for facial now and also the toner and eyecream. Too scared to try another expensive brand regularly in case it makes my skin flare up againDr Hauschka - tried this while living in HK, too expensive and fiddly for me.Obagi - was too strong for my skin, quite allergicJurlique - my elder sister loved this product, but it just never became my favorite.Paul Penders - LOVE this brand (it's all natural, organic and made by a Swiss, quite famous overseas - but made in Malaysia!), but some of the products like eye cream didn't work for me, and cleanser didn't seem to be strong enough for my skin. I think problem is tht they have no preservatives, so have to keep in fridge otherwise the ingredients stop working. BEST is the weekly treatment specialist products though, really make your skin glowCetaphil - it just seems to be best for my face, and it's relatively inexpensive! Nice and simple and it helps me maintain my good skin, except once in a while have to go for facial to top up the moisture.
