can I recommend to you La Prairie Blemish Control?

my bro has bad bad acne and I've just started him on it. I'll let you know if it works out well but from my own experience. I had a pimple on my face for over a week and it did not dry itself out even with my ritual cleansing (i use dermalogica)

I used it before I went to bed and viola the next morning it was flat, lighter red and now it is slowly diminishing!

I was glad that i did not suffered from acnes during my teenages.Until I grad from uni and start working, acnes keep growing and it becomes serious for this 2 years. :mumbling: My job is definitely relax and easy. Therefore, I can sure that i'm not under stress. I sleep on 11am most of the time, drink at least 1.5l of water daily. I spent money on the facial product, but it helpless. ^_^

Until last 2 months i went to see a dr.when i sick, which is a normal clinic. The dr saw my face and consult me to take hormone pill. which call DIANE 35 ( www.diane35.com). It's one of the contraceptive pills and for anti-acne treatment as well. But,it seem like still not working after 1 month course. Dr told me i should be patient and try it at least for 3 months. My face now become serious. Acne keep grow on my forehead and chin. It's so pain and look so ugly!!!! I need help. Should i stop taking that pill and go for skin specialist? By the way, anybody have the detail info. for Dr. Ting at Jln Imbi? :praisegod:

I have a friend who work as beauty specialist. As im not more teenager, she said definately is my inner hormone problem. Not need spent money to buy the facial product or do the facial. She ask me go for skin specialist or look for some chinese dr. (Tai Fu).

It's wise to take some medicine to balance my hormone instead of spending money on the costly facial products.

I agree with you  Most of the pimple products sold over the counter can be very drying and harsh to the face, which can worsen the skin condition.

hi everyone :) its my 1st post here..been a silent user quite a while....rili enjoy reading the posts from dis cool site... :D

i suffered from acne since i was 18..now am 21years old...last time i used to have breakouts which covered almost my entire half bottom face :( ...well it does rili lowered my self confidence...& ruining my social life...i feel so embarassed meeting ppl even my own college frens...

now my face is improving..only scars left....using ettusais whitening essense but it takes time to fade the marks... well try using a mild cleanser like simple,neutrogena...den after washing, pat dry do not rub...den wait 5 mins...using neutrogena's benzoyl peroxide 2.5% on the spot, smear over your entire problem area..(amout of cream used is about one finger)....den again wait 5mins again....to avoid ur face getting dried due to benzoyl peroxide...use a moisturiser from simple, neutrogena recommended & smear gently until everything is absored into ur skin...im using simple oil control line...eucerin is good too...well all these do not require u to spend so much & kinda effective for most acne sufferers......check out www.acne.org for the clearskin regimen...view the video if ur not sure how to cleanse, apply the cream & moisturise... well this regimen works for me...im getting no more pimples except during aunty visits or sleeping late...bcos last 2weeks i was awake til 8 am d next mornin playing PS2...n ended up having 3new pimples...very big sum more..haiz~so sleep early is important lo... :P

my pimples r not dat severe animo...can use makeup to cover here & there...now just scars :clapclap:

I've also had acne and pimples problem for a few years until I started using Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil range of products: cleanser, toner, moisturiser, scrub, mask and tea tree oil. My condition improved a lot after using the products since Dec 2004 and I'm quite happy about it! :) Now, my face's kinda clear but occasionally I'll still have a few breakouts especially when "aunty visits".

Right now, I think, my main problem is big pores on my cheeks! :crybaby: They are so visible and I hate to see them when I look at my face in the mirror. I also have some red spots / scars left behind by the pimples on my cheeks. :(

So, should I go for facial treatment or see a skin specialist instead? Oh, btw, I saw a flyer about this Doux Visage Clinique, House of Skin Care & Aromatherapy at TTDI. Anyone heard about it b4?

Hi , everyone. I am a 23 years old guy. I have "lived" with acne since i was Form 3.

I really feel very sad about it. I have no idea how to clear "it" and I hate "it" very much.

Any idea how to clear the acne on my face? it makes me feel down and lack of confidence.

I went to see doctor when i was studying form 5 but the cleansers make my acne worse. After that i didn't trust doctor anymore. Somemore i took alot of antibiotics which are not good for healthy. it spoilt my health.

Now , there are alot of scars and red marks on my face. ACNE is still there. please help!!!!!

YOUR SUGGESTIONS AND OPINIONS ARE MUCH APPRECIATED.

Hey, just wanna check you out. How was your facial condition now?

Just wana share my experience with you guys out there. I used to have lots of pimples due to my 'crave' of gila marching so so so much during my secondary school years. Because of over-exposure to the sun and hot weather, my face started to become oily and seriuosly dark. I did use several facial prducts before and most of them dont work much for me.

Then i decided to try Artistry by my friend. I ended up trying that product out as its 100% money back guarantee. It did solve my acne problems but after some time i realize i need something more effective to reduce the leftover scars. Well, at this point CHEAP THINGS DONT WORK !!! Trust me... If you wana look pretty , you gotta spend some money ( huhu.... this is the pokai part.. kekeke).

Currently i am using estee products ( for your information, estee products are NO. 1 skin care product world wide ). Now the scars are reduce slowly, making my skin smoother and clearer.

however, it all depends on your skin lo....

how many times have you done the LHE treatment ? how is the result so far?

and also how much is the treatment per session?

thanks alots

Actually i just did it once, and am going again next week.

The beauty saloon treatment costs RM150 per session. Not sure about the Skin specialist (they also have this treatment).

If you are going to check with the skin specialist, this is the one i found http://www.koskinlaser.com/otherservices_lhe_ac.html

SexyLady, would you mind telling what Estee product u use to reduce your scar?

And how much does it cost? How long it takes to have effect?

Cocolala, would you mind telling which beauty salon u went to have the LHE treatment?

Can provide the location if possible?

Thanks.

The beauty saloon that I went is in TTDI. I forgot the name, will get a name card from them when i go again next week :P

But I did find out that there are other saloons that are providing this LHE treatment:

Murall house of Beauty - saw the advertisement on newspaper. They have branches at Jaya Shopping Center, Summit USJ, Desa Sri Hartamas and KL Plaza.

Blooms of Eden - Seri Kembangan

I did not check the pricing from these 2 saloons but in the advertisement of Murall it says that first trial is RM68.

Estee Lauder cant reduce scars la. If any product that can reduce scar, you can use some sort of microdermabrasion. Why dont you try Origins? Alot of good reviews on it. ive tried it too. Smells nice and feels good and skin too. Estee Lauder too much fragrance.

If you intend to use laser treatment, it will be the fastest way to improve you skin condition. Still after that u have to maintain by having to take good care of your face or your old problems will come back. Diet and good skincare will definately gives you a good skin. For laser treatment you can try Dr.Kho clinic. I think got website for this too. ABout the budget it would be about rm 250 for 1 rtype of laser. For 1 time treatment they require 2 times laser. A total of RM 500++
