Chariz 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Does anyone know how long do we have to put the soothing cream for the eyebrows after the embroidery? Is it only for 2 days or until the whole thing has peeled off?

Did you do it at Ultimate Impression? The beautician only told me not to let my brows touch water for only 2 days. Its said that you'll have to apply the cream to obtain best effects. Chariz 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2007 where to go for touch up??mine already 2 years...tot wanna try others than ultimate impression..Ultimate offers touch ups for RM100 per session, i think.... You should go for touch up as your brows will look alot nicer My friend did not go for any touch ups and as a result, her brows look rather faded. JanBeauty 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 I did brow embroidery at Ultimate Impression too. It was abt 5 yrs ago & till today, even after it gradually faded over time, I still have the faint looking marks of the embroidery ink.As for pricing, I was charged RM 330 / RM 350, can't remember exactly. Came with 3 free touch-ups (if needed) within 3mths & 1 free facial. I only went for 1 touch-up coz after the fading from 1st touch-up, the ink was still quite dark. If touch-up some more, I might end up having Godzillaz eyebrows (if he has any? ).The Ultimate Impression (MV outlet) I visited also uses something which looks like a blade & fills colour under ur skin. 1 blade per customer, so itz hygienic. B4 that, the beautician would use a blade to shave eyebrows into shape & scissors to trim the longer hairs. Then she'll draw a shape with the pencil & alter until ure satisfied b4 proceeding to fill the colour. When the process first starts out, it may feel a bit painful. After a while, the pain sorta numbs out. But that also depends on ur personal pain threshold. It feels like scraping a blunt blade on skin pulled taut. If u frequently pluck ur brows with tweezers, it should feel somewot the same with juz slightly a bit more pain.Been too busy & lazy to go back to re-do my embroidery so I juz use the marks as a guide & draw my brows. Since my brow hairs are quite dark, I guess I can live with drawing for now until I decide to go get them embroided again. As for now, I occasionally go for threading service or pluck / trim brows myself when I have time.really thanks for ur nice info, and i decided to have mine on next month~hopefully i can bear for the paint and look nice later... Unicorn 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 Hi girls,I'm a newbie to this website, came across this forum when I was searching for information on eyebrow embroidery; and now would like to share my information to anyone who is interested to find out more.I just did my eyebrow at Ultimate Impression, Mid Valley Boulevard. I initially thought their outlet was inside MidValley, but actually they shifted to outside MV. They have 2 packages, either you take:- RM548 embroidery with facial, touch-up, this and that..whatever, OR - RM380 just embroidery alone and free 2 touch-up later monthI took the RM380 for budget purpose (no $$$ oredi).. so walla! below is my before and after picture:I have never ever draw my brow, coz I am suck at that. But overall, I am satisfied with the outcome and the shape. The colour is quite dark currently, and am hoping that it'll be very much lighter after 1 week (that's what the beautician told me, 50% lighter). When I walked in to the outlet (w/o appointment), I was greeted by a lady whose brow was extremely sparse (not much bulu). I was actually considering whether to do it or not after seeing hers.. hahahx. terkejut. But she assured me by showing her collegues brow, that it'll be natural and my eye bulu will still be there. Then only I agreed to proceed.. kekeke..One thing lacking was, the beautician did not really discuss on how my brow will look like and the colour to use. Once I filled in form and made payment, I was ushered to a chair and the beautician begin to shave some of my brow using small blade. After shave, I saw how beautiful~ my brow turned out to be because its natural, colour was just nice, and the shape was nicely curve.. In my heart, I really wanted to go home just like that.. really fall in love with my brow that time.. hahaha. So, after that she start to outline my new brow with pencil, during this time I able to observe the brow drawn, and I did let her know how curvy/sharp/thin/thick I want. If I don't tell her, I wonder she'll discuss with me?!! I know they are specialists, but need communication one mar! Hmmphh..So, after outlined and agreed, then only go to the room and start embroidery. In terms of the level of pain, I would say a little.. but still bearable gehh..After the embroidery is done, my brow felt a little 'larh', but after 30 minutes, nothing already. Currently not pain, not itchy, just normal. The entire procedure took like 35/40 minutes (15 mins outline brow, 20mins embroidery). One of my advice is to bring along a cap/hat and maybe sunglass with you to shield/cover your brow. Mine the colour is quite dark currently; like SinChan the cartoon. I had to walk back from the outlet back to my car which was so far, and a lot people got shock when saw my face. hahah.. I had to look at the floor and walk quickly..so shy!! Anyway, she gave me a cream..apply twice, day and night for 1 week. Only the first 2 days cannot be wet and use cotton if want to wash face. And during 1 week, the skin will start to peel itself where this time the colour will slowly go lighter by 50%. She said cannot peel ownself, else will damage it. I wonder how can I go out during this 1 week with such SinChan and Justice Pao, Kuan Kung brow?Hmm..Whatever it is, I am now hoping it will turn out beautiful and nice natural colour after a week, and be pretty by Chinese New Year~ **pray pray**So what you girls think about my new brow? Cheers & Have a nice day!P/S: Below are some pictures of brochure and info that I've got:Brochure: Front page [details and outlet addresses]http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh192/c...y/brochure1.jpgBrochure: Back pagePost-embroidery information: EnglishPost-embroidery information: Chinesehttp://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh192/c...ery/chinese.jpg

tina_22_ 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 Hii am keen on getting my eyebrow embroidered BUT before i do tat, i need to clarify this.. After embroidery do we still need to shape / trim our eyebrows?thanks in advance
traclyn 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2008 tina_22_ur hair will still grow as usual even u get ur eyebrow embroidered.so what u do is, u may trim or pluck those facial hair that are outside of the eyebrow embroidery.therefore, u get a perfectly shaped eyebrow.Unicorni have went thru the process before but my skin started peeling on the 4th day and almost completely peel off by the 6th day without me peeling using my hand. My face artist was saying if u peel the embroidery might not work so i hold on to myself although its itchy. What i do is when it started to get itchy, just tap a little on the itching skin.and i do not need to refrain myself for eating certain food either.tats a good thing about it, i may eat all i want. Unicorn 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2008 (edited) To heiditan,Thanks! Yea, my brow was so dark and thick-looking that I had to resort hiding in my room (even from my family members..hehe..), and every time I went out I had to put on a cap..for 4 days...On the 5th day, I actually used some powder to lighten my brow when I went out (tired of wearing cap already)..But, becareful not to take this advice because I only put a little powder on the 5th day..not on the first few days after embroidery because that will be the most crucial time for skin to heal and not to damage the colour. I'm not sure how other girls go to work/go out during that time, but as for me, I think I had fairly explained how I locked myself up, wore cap, and dab some powder....... To tinatan_22_,Yes, as mentioned by tracyln, you still need to pluck some of those growing baby hair outside of the embroidery. Remember to bring along cap/hat/sunglasses to shield your brow when you go home after embroidery.. IN CAse you need it like me Also, if you mind being weird-looking, try to think of how you want to handle going out/working during 1 week..To tracyln,I think it all depends on the person on how fast their body work on the healing process.. Good for you that yours started to peel on the 4th day My brow was not itchy, but my left-hand was! (bcoz right-hand used to scroll mouse, left-hand nothing to do but scratch!)..hahah..I did restrain myself from eating seafood..prawn..egg (my friend even called me to eat seafood, steamboat).. Well, I just didnt want to take the risk..want to play safe when the skin was healing.. Anyway Tracyln, great that you could enjoy eating whatever you like during that 1 week! **Important Note**(Dont worry this is not related to eyebrow, but generally on skin issue --One of my friend had sensitive skin which she didnt know initially, then she did something to her body.....now got big scar/acne/marks on it ..now the scar is forever there and she cannot, And, NEVER, wear revealing clothes anymoreee...has to be long sleeve and pant everyday forever even though she has great body...torturing isnt??) ---- So, same concept, better dont eat/do anything that can arouse the skin to be allergic during this healing time, no matter you have sensitive or non-sensitive skin... Even if its not sensitive, eating dirty seafood..crab..can leads to.. you-know-what-already...Better to be safe than sorry, else it'll be forever~~~~ *Luckily the powder I dabbed on 5th day was safe.. jaunty_niel 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2008 i did my embroidery last Dec in gurney plaza's Ultimate Impression and did my touch ups in PJ Jaya33's Bluunis. cost me RM380 for the embroidery, free 3 touch-up sessions, and free 1 hour facial. what unicorn said earlier is very true, do bring by a cap or something to cover up ur eyebrows as they will look like crayon sinchan's brows. thick, reddish, and its painfull! [maybe my pain tolerance is low]sorry for the blurr pictures. wasnt really in a good mood when i took the 2nd picture. kedut kedut near my eyebrows cos flash. will try to get a better picture of my brows later on. overall very happy with their service, will keep my brows embroided till i'm tired of it wakakkka...
