sass_o 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2006 (edited) as we're currently in discussion for our wedding. It will be a garden wedding whereby the celebrant will marry us at the garden. Followed by rounds of champagne and canapes (during sunset).Proceed inside for the dinner. Maximum of 50 people to be invited as I absolutely cannot stand weddings that have more than 100 people. The venue that we are considering (actually more of me since he's like ok up to you, you decide i'll just turn up! ) venue is Pruniers. However, our Jakarta wedding. well thats a whole other story. as most weddings there are on a HUGE scale. and they somehow manage to invite 1000 people. Not to mention the hefty price tag of AUD150,000 for that one night. As long as my boy n I get the wedding of our dreams at Pruniers I dont mind tagging along for the second dinner in jakarta. babysue 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2006 for me i dun need a grand wedding ceremony ..a simple one would do..juz invite some friends and close relative...but the most important thing is i want my future husband to sing a love song on the stage(on the wedding dinner)..that would b romantic and unforgetable moment in my life ...agree?..but if he is not a good singer, then better ask him not sing..or else..haha....in that case juz ask him to speak on the stage with some sweet love poem. .. Jamiesung 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2006 Venue:On top of a tor/hill overlooking the sea, with thickets of trees and flowers nearby. Secluded, non-commercialised.Season:Fall or Spring, a little light snow is good for theatrics.Weather:Cloudy (don't want my skin to get burnt by the sun and the UV rays), and breezy.Band:Jazz, Instrumental; something soft for the background, and maybe a little Scottish ditty for dancing time.Decoration:Balloons. Colours would be: Cream White, Soft Lilac, Soft Pink, Lavender.Lunch: Canapes must be included! That, and a lot of wine, whites for the fowl and fish, reds for the red meat.No oily/gluttinous food! (If there are stains on people's clothes, its generally not good)Makeup:Foundation, for that even skin tone, and should any eye bags appear, concealer is a must! Gotta use that lip balm too in case the weather is too dry. Chapped lips are a no-no for kissing.Wear:Cream White Samite Cape interwoven with golden treads.Cream White smart blouson with golden lining.Cream White three button doubletCream White slim fit pants.Crema White Supple Narrow Wing tipped Leather Shoes.Necessaries: Lot of sleep and taking good care of myself months before the wedding , so I can look gorgeous and radiant.A light dash of eau de toilette, some mouth freshener, well-manicured and buffed up nails, and I'm ready to go.PS. I'll try to colour coordinate clothes with my bride's.Oh, and all my best men can't look better than me. Lol.
MeLuvChocolates 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2006 the wedding is as simple as possible but the honeymoon, of coz must be perfect If hving it in the church, of coz I want a gown wif very long train ... oh, and i want my flowers to be white lilies and pink roses ... only close relatives that I know will be there no karaoke . ok lah, if hv, no chinese opera songs... (bad experience) i don't see the whole point to invite the *whole world*, not only it will break your bank account but also will exhaust you that day.better still, there would be a dancefloor, where we (me &my husband- to- be) will lead the first slow dance.my perfect honeymoon destination would be maldives or bora bora island ...Maybe any nice beaches resort will do
