Dr Ranjit or other skin specialist

Recommended Posts

HI ,
I intend to register the acne treatment from Dr Ranjit. Anyone experience it and get a good result ?
I have no idea how to cure and control my acne problem already. I really hate to look at myself.
Please share the experience if you did.
Thank you

Wel.. I am not sure about Dr Ranjit, but dealing with Acne as an Adult, is a difficult task. Acne is the most common skin disorder in the United States. But it is not just a teenage problem. The American Academy of Dermatology reports 80 percent of adults between the ages of 20 and 30 suffer from mild to moderate acne. Over half of all women, regardless of age, suffer from some form of acne. It can be a frustrating problem, especially when you thought you had left your skin problems behind in high school.

Yes. exactly . Do you require to take antibiotic or just apply the medicine ?
How long it takes to fully recover ? i knew it really depends to individual.
Thank you.

Taking antibiotic doesn't help. Antibiotic may at first help to fight the virus, but after a while, the virus gets immune to the antibiotic and you will need extra doses in order to work. Therefore, if you suffer from such problem, which the acne keep returning back no matter what product you use, you should start thinking about taking supplements to get rid of toxin internally (which is most of the time the main cause of acnes). I'm talking about vitamins and supplements here, not those detoxing product. If you need serious advice on this, I have a friend which is a certified beautician cum nutritionist which has been helping a lot of ppl with these problems. Just pm me if you need further info. Cheers! ;)

You are definitely right. I have seen a lot of peoples discussing about the side effect of the medicine. As I know the face will free of acne while patient is on medication. Does the acne come back after you stop the medication? Thank you.

depending on the situation of your skin really.
if it is REALLY bad, he will prescribe some meds. but it is NOT antibiotics.
its just a course of meds u take twice daily for a period of 3 months minimum.
after awhile u can definitely see improvement in ur skin.
but u must be patient la ahaha.
he will also prescribe cream/gel for u, depending on ur skin type.

i am not sure about ur case.
mine was mainly across my nose and cheeks area, which then spread to my forehead.

for me, within 4-5 days the redness and blotchiness the stupid dots caused reduced significantly(but of course still there la), and a few weeks to a month or two it was all gone. n this was a REALLY bad infection cz i left it ongoing for about 2.5 months. my motto is, never think about the time it will take for it to recover. but rather be patient with your skin, and just follow the steps given, and it will all be worth it.

my sister's skin is now literally FLAWLESS because of her strict regime with dr.ranjit.
swear.

hey girls and guys,
i dont know if any of you know about this or not, but please STOP taking medicine to cure acne, it will only supress the acne into the skin, and burst out after that.

why i know so much? i was suffering from a bad acne skin before. technically, i thought Ranjit was a life saver! i took the pills, and yes, it works! but then did some research on it, and found that the maximum time that one can consume that medication is 6 months. so i stopped after that. And boom! my face turn up side down, i was moodless, i didnt want to talk to anyone! my face was just terrible. it actually went worst than before.

One fine day, my mom brought me to this salon, and reluctant to believe on any more beauty salon, i gave it a try. my thought is, the doctor cant even treat my face, what more a beautician. the owner actually explain to me my problem, why it happens, and so on... frankly speaking, i did not believe what she had say. all i did was just stare at blank space. Till few times later when i saw improvement! gosh, i was shocked. i went to facials every 3 weeks despite the distance. my face went smooth after that. and the acne did not came back again. of course, taking care of my skin now.

If you are really looking into curing the problem, give this salon a try. at least, i did not regret my decision, and they didn't pay me to say such thing. The owner has been in the industry for more than 25 years. Request for the owner. her name is Mee Wan. she is very experienced in the field. according to their card, the website is http://elixir-wellness.com. you can find information there.
what i like about the salon is that i am sure that i am paying for the professional, not some fresh graduate.

My point here is not to shoot ranjit or to praise the salon. what i am trying to say is stop consuming the pills to cure acne. It will worsen you problem. and, this is just my honest opinion on how my acne got treated.

I'm the opposite. I've lost faith in beautician lol. i had facials at 3 different beauty centers n i dont see any improvement, really not worth the money i've spent. my scars got worse because of facial. well, i had severe acne for almost 10 years. initially, i thought doctors cant help as the medication will only suppress the acne from fully forming. once u stop the medication, acne is going to haunt me. after 3 shots with beautician, i gave up n finally seek the advice from a doctor. i have no regret as my severe acne now has cleared up. i dont see any acne anymore n i was so glad that i can have days which r acne free. my friend even noticed my skin has improved. i'll be doing laser for my scars soon :D

well, not all doctors will prescribes accutane to their patients, as far as i am concern, the derm which i visit does not. she said, accutane is only prescribed to patient where other acne treatments, be it antibiotic, skin care, treatment, do not work. in short, accutane is the last resort and has to be taken with extreme care n under doc's prescription. i dont take any accutane, i was only prescribed antibiotics for 4 weeks in mid of july n i've completely stopped taking any oral medicine for my acne since mid of august. i am currently undergoing light therapy at the clinic which helps clear off my acne in only 3 sessions! it is kinda pricey but, worth the penny. the result is just so satisfying n amazing.

i think it depends on each individual's acne severity n skin types. treatment that works for me doesn't mean it necessarily work for u as well. every1 has their own stories on how they fight acne. wishing every1 good luck here in fighting with acne.
