nygere 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 I highly recommend iAudio Cowon X5. Havn't heard before uh? But believe me it is very good and in beats the iPod anyday in terms of Sound quality, features and build. iAudio and iRiver is two biggest korean mp3 electronic producers and iAudio still triumphs over the sound quality.Cnet once rated the X5 to have the 2nd best sound quality after the discontinued Sony HD5. With X5 you have 20Gb, play mp3, wav, ogg, mpeg, etc files (many more than the iPod), fm and am radio, voice recorder, video player and jpeg picture viewer. Sounds impressive uh?Plus the black exterior is much more scratch resistant than the iPod. The dimensions are exactly the same as the 4th generation iPod but its features still beats the 5th generation one. iPod is just overrated. Plus it doesn't look that bad at all. I have this for 2 years now and it is working fine. If you wanna enjoy the superior sound quality though you need to get a better headphones - like Bose or Sennheiser. Zech 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2009 N73ME paired with good Creative earphone is my best music buddy for now! Nokia's N series audio quality is comparable to standalone MP3 player especially with good earphones. No need to bring another gadget when I go out, and 1 item less to charge battery (just the handphone). And oh, there's no issue with playtime coz I would listen to music for 2 hours at max in 1 session. And I can still use the phone normally for another 2 days usually.
