Newbie here. First post, first FOTD here on this forum and hope you will like it!

Here's my sparkly eye look for the daytime, providing enough sparkle for the office but not so much that it puts off my work colleagues =)

My special weapons used for this look?

[b]Beauty UK Metallic Sparks Jumbo Pencil in Gold[/b] and [b]Barry M Gold Glitter Stick[/b], both sold at Superdrug, really cheap too, can't remember what I paid, less than £4 each, think one was even under £3.

[b]Beauty UK Metallic Sparks [/b]pencil was used a shimmer shadow on the upper lid and inner corners. It glides on so effortlessly. My only gripe was that although it did have great staying power, it did crease too easily that I found myself having to dab my eyelids lightly with my finger to remove the crease lines.

[b]Barry M Gold Glitter Stick[/b] was used on the lower lashline. It stayed put and I found that the specks of gold did not go sliding off.

Eyebrowz brow powder in shade #3004-Soft Black to fill in any sparse areas

Revlon Matte Collection shadow in Vintage Lace applied over entire lid, from lashline to browbone as a primer

Estee Lauder Double Wear eyeliner in Onyx to tightline top lashline

Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow in 66-Bronze Cube using the inverted V method ([url="http://www.citygeisha.com/?p=2961"]Click here[/url] to read my blog post on this)

[b]Beauty UK Metallic Sparks Jumbo Pencil in Gold[/b] applied to the inner corners and blended outwards toward middle of eyelids

[b]Barry M Gold Glitter Stick [/b]applied to lower lashline

Sleek Ink Pot Eye Gel Liner in Dominatrix applied to top and bottom lashline

Benefit Bag Gal mascara in Black applied to top lashes. You can also choose to apply fake eyelashes to the outer corners for that full-on glamour. Eyeko 3-in-1 Cream used as highlighter on the browbone

Should you wish to take it into the night and intensity the look, line both lower rim and lashline with black eyeliner, smudging it lightly with a Q-tip. Next dab on some of your shimmery shadow just UNDER where you have applied the black eyeliner (not over). If you are going to be using your sparkly pencil for this, best to run this along your lashline first and extending it downwards a bit before dabbing on your black, sooty eyeliner into your lower lashline. The reverse option would just result in a big mess.

I practice what I preach so here's a continuation from the above photos, intensifying the eyes by lining my lower lashline with Barry M Gold Glitter Stick, dragging it further down and then lining my lower rim and lashline with my Estee Lauder black eyeliner. The effect is that of a sooty, smoky sparkly effect that just looks so smoking hot!
