I've been seeing him for eczema for many years.
His clinic is just opposite Sakura restaurant.
You usually have to wait at least 3 hours if you don't make
an appointment, so I usually go only on Saturdays at around
6 pm, nearly closing time, when most of the patients have
finished. I've heard that if you go in the morning, you must
make an appointment.
His charges are actually quite cheap compared to other
dermatologists. His follow-up consultation charge is about $30.
Medication is separate, but reasonable. If he does not give
any injection for my eczema, and say two or three tubs of
steroid creams, I usually pay $60 to $90. With some tablets
such as antibiotics, it may be $20 more.
If you buy some cream from the counter, it isn't very expensive
either. A 15 gram tub of mometasone ointment will cost $20,
though generic. If you buy the original one, Elomet by Schering
outside, it is now about $30.
A few years ago, he used the laser to remove an oil or milia
seed on my right lower eyelid and it cost $100.
I don't think he does microdermabrasion, which is used more
by beauticians, but I think he can reduce your acne scar
easliy with the laser or IPL.
I see lots of young girls waiting on Saturday to see him for
laser and IPL. He also uses diathermy, or electric needle.
Here's his clinic number - 2144 4148.

compared to the laser. Quite a number of beauticians and
dermatologists are using it these days.
They use it on acne scars, pores, pigmented skin, hair
removal, etc.

I'm sure Ting will have some good creams and lotons for your
acne pores, like Differin, clindamycin, erythromycin. If your
case is serious, he may prescribe oral antibioticas like tetracycline
and doxycycline, or one of the retinoids like isotretinoin (Accutane).
Otherwise, he will probably just give you some creams if your
case is mild or moderate.
A good cream worth trying is azelaic acid, but it tends to
be drying and cause irritation.

Yes, he is.
I think he was born in 1950 or 1951. If you look at his MBBS
degree framed on the wall, he graduated in 1974. This means
he was 23 or 24 then.
His younger brother, Henry, whom I talk to sometimes, was
born in 1954, I believe. Henry looks like Ting, but is shorter.
You can see him walking around, sometimes in the dispensing
room, but most times in the room to the right of the seating area,
where he is watching the CCTV !
If you are into Christianity, Henry will be happy to talk with you.

Let us know your experience after seeing him..heard he has some 'character', he dont really talk (some say they dont get the doctor's attention), not sure how true...
Dont think he will give you any medication for scars, perhaps some cream and recommend some laser...
Another doctor who is good and experience is Dr Chu Siew Mun in PJ, read from other medical forums that he is able to treat some rare skin problems, disadvantage is his private clinic only opens for few hours on few days, Saturday mostly pack and need to make very advance booking, better see him on working day...However, I went for Dr Chua in Puchong for laser to remove the oil seeds, price is reasonable...Most skin doctors offer laser (except Dr Koh in Uptown), you can just survey their price...
