jvernic 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2008 hi girl, congrats ya....suggest u go putrajaya...got a very nice view...can take tons of beautiful pics there!! enjoy,ya!
mS.evie 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2008 yup.. i heard Putrajaya has the best views so far. However they only accept 15 couples per day (except for those special dates such as 08.08.08 or Valentines day). I'm having my ROM next year but i've just learnt that we need to change our address to be the same as in both KL (both bride and groom). Mine is originally from Seremban.. now gotta change my IC address. Hopefully there are no hiccups.
erine pink 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2008 I ROM-ed in putrajaya on 8th July 2008. The place is big, clean and most importantly bright. There are a lot of nice deco around also. You can take photos there. The officers there is very cheerful and helpful. When we went to submit our form, hubby's photo is not in blue background, which is their requirement. The officer said nevermind and ask us to pass to him when we come to ROM later. As for the address, i asked the people there, they said either one has a KL address is enough if you ROM in KL JPN. S'gor address if you ROM in S'gor JPN. Because mine is S'gor address. Hubby is KL address. Maybe different state different rules gua...
mS.evie 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2008 thats ironic erine pink.. i called JPN Putrajaya yesterday and they mentioned that it is a requirement for me to change my address to KL (my fiance's home). Then i asked them how come last time my parents (one from penang and another from Johor) doesnt need to change.. they said that was last time (old rule). I guess i have no choice but to change my address.. any idea how long before the exact ROM date we have to submit our forms for approvals?? I heard some said 6 months.. while some told me 3 months and some even said 3 weeks!!! I'm all confused now* >.<
PinkyGal 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2008 Usually is 3 months if no one bantah...haha senyap senyap go register...Wah need to change IC address to KL ar...both of us from JB, staying in Selangor...Where to ger KL address to register? erine pink 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2008 i see... it must be very troublesome to change address... I hate having to wake up very early in the morning and go to queue in JPN even before its open. Ok, bout ur question, say for example u plan to ROM in 21st Oct 08. You have to submit the form 21 days (3 weeks) before the date u planned to ROM which is 1st Oct 08. You can always submit earlier than the 21 days. 21 days is the minimum days that they required.Check this out --> http://www.gov.my/MyGov/BI/Directory/Citiz...iageNonMuslims/Hope this helps.
