DiscoFan 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 I'm considering doing the Brownaissance semi-permanent make-up upper eyeliner, which costs RM270 at Bluunis (formerly known as Ultimate Impression). This price is for the thin eyeliner, which is just along the eyelash line. They also offer medium eyeliner which would cover a thicker area of the upper eye, costing >RM300. Has anyone done this before or knows of anyone who did? I would like to hear your say as I have been very indecisive about this, after reading twice on this website before that it hurts. However, the Bluunis staff assured me that it doesn't, as they use a special cream. Maybe it used to hurt last time, but they have changed their technique to reduce the pain? In fact, one of them said that even the Brownaissance eyebrow embroidery hurts more than the eyeliner. I did the eyebrow embroidery too; it was quite uncomfortable for me (prickly feeling that made my eyes water and nose run) but I'm happy with the result and can tolerate that level of discomfort (since it's only 3 times in 1-2 years). Also, does it actually look nice? I'm afraid it will look too unnatural, which is why I only wanted the thin upper eyeliner, cos I doubt the medium eyeliner would look natural on our smaller Asian eyes. They have lower eyeliner too, in case any of you were wondering. Or perhaps you know of another place that does this semi-permanent eyeliner too? Hopefully within Petaling Jaya area, which is where I live. Thanks; really appreciate your reviews!
lilymint 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2009 I went to visit the newly opened Empro branch at Mid Valley today. I am tempted to try the eyeliner embroidery (semi-permanent). They are having a promotion of RM200 (normal price RM300). Has any babes tried the eyeliner embroidery at empro before? Any feedback? The SA told me that it is not painful. She did it before and she only feels that its very itchy and tingling during the process.

I did it at the shop tat u mentioned in The Curve. The eyebrow was acceptable but some of my fren said it is not natural at all and somewhere else can do better and more natural. For eyeliner, the result was so bad until i wanted to slap myself when i look into the mirror......then i went back to them and asked them to remove and they said that they only know how to do it and do not have machine to remove it.....I pay almost RM400 to do upper and lower eyeliner and end up have to spent extra RM 500 to remove it at somewhere else. For me, i think eyebrow embroidery is no pain at all but for eyeliner i really can't tolerate. Its hurts!!!!!!!!Please do not go for lower eyeliner, u ll regret!!!!! destiney 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 i went to Bluunis in midvalley to do my eyeliner embroidery. At first, they apply numbing cream around your eyes and let you rest for 20 mins. After that, they will start poking ur eyes like continuously. Although with the numbing cream, but i still feel pain. My eyes was swollen and i have single eyelids and suddenly my eyes got bigger due to the swelling. They are having promotion now. I called them and they told me its RM128 but when i got there...they say..Rm128 plus 2 touch ups..each costing bout Rm68.so total cost is = 128+68=68 = RM 264.After a couple of days, the lines are not so obvious anymore...so have to go back there to do touch ups...it looks natural though coz mine is not so obvious due to my single eyelids...hahaha...but the pain...it can be quite unbearable at times...the beautician even recommended me to do the eyebrows...she shaped my eyebrows and kept telling me how beautiful they are..and they are having promotions etc..but i was not interested...haha..they can be quite pushy though..i used to go there for facials at sg wang(before they changed the name to Bluunis, it was Ultimate Impression)..and EVERYTIME they will try to sell me somthing while doing my facial..and if i say no..they will ask me why not..can do instalment etc..and then if i say no,they will probably cincai wash my face or show me the black face if i dun buy their products or sign up the course...so i stop going there now.
