it's the most famous skin laser in malaysia. various of laser and treatment available. price is kinda expensive.. the only prob is they will like not respect customer that r "poor".. my fren told me, if datin2 go there, sure give great service, if normal ppl then won't give u so much respect.

and also sometimes laser is not perfomed by dermatologst, but by nurse. my fren face got burned 2 times cuz the nurse doesn't rly understand about the power/frequency/range..

then she keep saying sorry to my fren and asked her to buy a mosturizer worth RM180. she can't do anything but just paid extra RM180. i asked why dun go other place or do complained. my fren said no choice. ko skin is reliable and she wanna cure her face..

oo.. junnie.. ur reply scare me!!! I still have to undergo another 2 treatments. I agree with u, their price is really expensive. But, the fact that i hav open pores, I've no choice but to try their laser. I've tried many beauty saloons and facial products but nothing seems to overcome my prob! And the more foundation i apply on my face, the more whiteheads and blackheads I'll get. So.. i really hav no choice ed.. sob sob!!! hopefully the next time i go they'll not burn my face..wish me good luck.. !!!

Hi Junnie,

Your fren is right. The nurses are not giving good service to people who is not looking rich. I just went there last week to seek treatment for my acne. Actually that is my 7th treatment and the improvement of my skin still not satisfactory. i went there since 2 years go, and the main doctor said, in 2 years time, my skin will become beautiful and smooth. and now, 2 years had passed, i spend over RM10K and my skin still getting constant critics. i am very sad and tired already.

the consultant there, Ms Nah and LV is very very money minded. The way they talked is rude and they wont entertain/interested to help/consult. I dont think they deserved to be called "consultant" because apart from suggesting what the latest technology and price, they dont give you much valuable advice or solutions. Like sales person rather than professional advice.too bad, the doctors are always busy and everytime i went, i have to wait for 1- 2 hours before i can talk to doctor and my treatment begins. i went early but always end up waiting for hours because they let those VIPs and datin2 to cut queue.

the first time i went, there was a beautiful nurse, but her attitude sucks. i dont know her name but she was suppose to wipe antibacterial lotion on my face before i go for laser. while doing the cleaning on my face, she was talking over the phone in hokkien very loud, one hand holding phone and 1 hand wipe my face. not wiping properly and didnt show any respect. i felt so embarassed to be treated that way. for god sake i spend over RM2K for their laser and medication and ther service is poor ! too bad i dont know her name.

and LV, the way she talked is very very rude. she slammed back on me when i talking nice to her. you should really see how ugly she is, what a hypocrite hiding under god-gifted good look. i really angry and disappointed with her. maybe she is unhappy because i was expressing my concern to the doctor that my skin is lacking of improvement and she is trying to side the doctor and behaving very nasty.

i felt really unhappy, because my skin is having deep scars and acne, and after spending so much money, this is the attitude from ko skin provides. someone should teach those nurses, LV and Ms nah esp. don't look down on people. thou we wear casually, does not mean we are poor. we paid you guys not begging for those treatment. don't be fooled by good looks, most of them are faked beauty but beneath some are really nasty.

anyhow, there are some very kind nurses. i hope you are able to be served by those angels.those are really pretty from in and out. i wish you guys all the best. really sincere and passionate to help. applause tothose who is kind and really help you.

Hi red raven,

How many times do you have to laser to get rid of the mole entirely? How much is the charges?

I wana remove a mole on my lips. I'm from Penang and I went to Loh Cosmetic & Laser clinic where the doctor told me that I will have to laser many times to get rid of the mole. I can't wait to get rid of the mole cos it's darn ugly...

Thanks in advance...

Girls, I've been to Ko's Skin Specialist and one thing I noticed is that the price ranges for each individual. Since I am those type that asks a lot of questions, the doctors and so-called nurses (not certified pun. They're just beauticians) were quite irritated by me because I asked them in detail what the actual procedures are called, the downtime, the follow-up maintenance, etc. They can be friendly but there's a major air in their heads. They are just too stuck-up and think all people with skin problems will flock to them.

And can you believe it? They don't give proper receipts? When I asked for a receipt, they didn't look happy. I specifically asked them to write in detail but they used those 50cents receipt book you can buy off from any indian bookstores.

Despite with my LV and Prada bags, due to my endless questions to them, all my visits were quite unpleasant. Because I never believe in kow-towing to such arrogant business people like them, I stopped going to the clinic. I did a lot of research and went to plastic surgeons for consultations. Although I have to pay for consultations, the knowledge they have bestowed on me about lasers and surgeries are worth it.

For my acne scars, my dream of having porcelain skin is forever dashed. Laser cannot completely resurface the skin. Laser can only lighten it but the marks and deep scars are permanent. By the way, laser can also change the face's 'ecosystem' and your complexion may become worse. So, if you really, really want to go for laser, why not try out IPL first? It's mild and safer.

I've been going to Ranjit's. Totally agree with preetkesh. Prices are SO MUCHHHHHHH cheaper and friendlier than Ko's.

Yeah, I strongly agree with you on Ko Skin Clinic treatments. I have frens in the medical field. Many have told me stories about Ko skin centre and there was also a case which a Datin that had passed away when she had a liposuction surgery at Ko Skin Clinic. A few drs were involved in this surgery and apparently the Datin that passed away had high blood pressure and she is a diabetic. These drs should have known the dangers of performing a full body liposuction. I personally feel the only thing that drive them is MONEY!!! I also had a close fren which her mummy went there for melasma treatment. She was recommended laser treatment to get rid of the melasma. Guess What!!! The laser treatment was being performed by the nurse and her skin worsen. There were tiny white spots on her face. It looked like it killed her melanin on her face. In the 1st place, laser machines are only supposed to be handled by qualified medical drs and not the so called consultant or nurse which only have Cidesco or MLVK certs ( beauty salon cert). These nurses will only ask you to buy their cosmetics to cover the flaws caused by the treatment.

Please tell any of your family members, close frens or even colleagues which plan to go there for any treatment to think TWICE before being another VICTIM!!! :mumbling:

Hi, please can you help me. I have had botched cosmetic surgery from one of the surgeons from ko skin clinic, when he was a visiting surgeon in another hospital. I have had to have corrective surgery and have been very sick because of the negligence of the doctor. Corrective surgery was done by another doctor in another hospital and he was fantastic and saved my life as i had really high blood pressure and needed a blood transfusion. I dont know what i can do and am really upset that ko clinic was still able to have their doctors operating in other hospitals without anybody knowing what happened to the datin's wife. Please if anybody knows any more about the doctors at this clinic and what they may have done to other patients please let me know. I feel very strongly that this needs to be stopped and these doctors are disregarding human life and i need anyone's knowledge to help me stop him and others from taking our money and our dignity. I agree DON'T BE ANOTHER VICTIM!!!! they are piranha's feeding off our vulnerability and insecurities!! help me stop them please

I really would like to name the doctor but at the moment I am restricted legally as the laws dont allow me to. I wish the laws were different because if they were I would not have had surgery with him either had I known he was invoved in the surgeries of the Datin's death. This is the reason I am asking for assistance because I am vigorously fighting to have his license removed by the MMC. I believe doctors can make mistakes but this doctor from the clinic has a pattern of making mistakes and not taking any responsibility. He is arrogant, rude and dishonest. At the time I had surgery with this doctor my girlfriend had surgery and she also needed corrective surgery for the same things, so in doing it to us there must be alot more people who have had bad experiences with this clinic. At the moment I am only able to mention the name of the clinic, but believe me once the legal restrictions are off and I am able to say his name I will be taking it to the media and plastering his name everywhere. he not only disfigured myself and my friend but I nearly died because of his negligence and arrogance. He had no time to come and see me when I was in hospital as his patient and he didnt take any tests or answer any calls from hospital staff when I was sick to instruct them on what to do and how to help me. I dont want his money, I want his license because it sickens me to know he is still operating on other people and I will give it my best shot to stop him. I am sure u can understand how frustrating it is to not be able to let everybody know his name but all I can say is that he is a visiting cosmetic surgeon in other private hospitals and he is also at Ko Clinic, and I hope by saying that people will be aware of the clinic. I also would appreciate it if someone could confirm if the Datin did have surgery at Ko Clinic in Klang prior to going into a coma and subsequently die. Please if anyone knows anymore about what happened to that poor woman could you please let me know. I want to stop this horrible person from destroying other peoples self esteem, hopes and dreams of wanting to improve themselves. All he cared about was money and abused his position of trust as a medical professional. I hope you all understand why I cannot name him and if I could I would do it in a heartbeat and as soon as I can I WILL !!!!!!!

Keira, I did experience what you've encountered in that Ko's specialist too sad.gif My case was bit difrent as I took skin peeling only and it happened last October.

I consulted them since my face got acne scars and pores. From the first I wana have laser treatment but the dr. ( a female can't recall her name ) suggested me taking peeling plus consuming their products will do. Then I okay with them loh. So the peeling + complete products = 1k . The things coming up really upset me much!!! ranting.gif ranting.gif

There were 2 nurses doing extraction for me before I go for peeling procedure. One leftside n one rightside. OMG so pain you know. But this was okay for me since I can endure it. They were chit-chating, gepohing about their stuffs "above" my face, that also no problem as I still can endure.. happy.gif but what really matter here was that both them teasing me during the extraction loh!! They knew I was from outstation (pahang) , their attitude were bad by treating me as an Kampung uLu girl sad.gif
like one of the gal asked me " u there got no Skincare specialist meh?" Followed by the other gal saying " aiya, ppl got $ ma..mai come here loh..no matter how far oso come lah!!" then followed by their laughing..( there was no other patient in the room besides us) what they said really hurt me. C'MON, I PAY U LEH!! ranting.gif ranting.gif

What happened next?! Extraction, terus peeling, wait for a time, cleaning , Done..They didn't give me a proper receipt as well..Just I also didn't wan to request from them and quickly left the place. No next time for this center i telling myself.

Now how my skin goin?! I can say worse. My face become so so sensitive after the peeling. Acne growin everywhere on my face.I need to put much effort and $ to take care of this.I m so so regret for consulting them..

Frens ..think twice before action coz they are thumbdown.gif

Thanks a lot for the number. The name of the clinic is Klinik Pakar Kulit Chua (tel: 80632323). There are 2 doctors there; one Dr Desmond and the other Dr Andrew. Dr Desmond does procedures and Dr Andrew is more on skin. Went there yesterday for my eczema problem. Met Dr Desmond but recommended that Dr Andrew look at my condition, which i think was responsible of him. Nurses are nice and the best thing is I can make appointment. Went at 10am and out by 10.30am. Unlike all the other doctors that I have been to Sachdev, Ting, Chu Sik Fai, none of them entertain appointments, which sucks. I had waited for my turn for as long as 4 hours before. Hated that!

I personally havent been to Ko Specialist before but hearing by the way they treat patients....BAD. All patients should be treated equally. Thats wat doctors should do.
