ilovechelc 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 My friend is an accountant too. But they are only superbusy for like a few months in a year. Other times, she looks quite relaxed, just like other office jobs

jojoleo 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2008 I am an accountant too. Well, not always overwork. If always overwork then either he or she work slow, or work overload to him or her.
flyboy 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2008 see the industry-lahif public accountant, busy April till July because of filing & tax deadlinesif you are in big 4 or 6, tend to work full year on top gearif you work commercial company, end and beginning month for closing purposestype of industry will determine the workload, e.g. FMCG work is tedious whereas contract company would have less workload. also determined by a company's headcount policy. kyliemc 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2008 i think being an accountant is still ok. perhaps will be extra busy when auditors are coming in to audit as need to prepare the full sets of accounts.auditors are busy most of the time especially during peak period; roughly starting from march til july as many companies hv 31 dec year end. it actually depends on your accounting firm, hv to see their clients' databases. and clients' year end.
