millie 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2008 I've never try any detox or cleansing tea before but I always have a couple of cup of green tea every night. The one with the tea bag and you just add in hot boiling water. You can drink as many cup as you can or until the tea flavour is not that strong. And another thing I practice everyday is every morning when I get up, I drink a glass of water and try to have an apple within an hour of waking up. Im sure everyone's aware that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it's important to kickstart your digestion metabolisme after a period of fasting (that is when we're sleeping). Try to eat something after that.Ohh, and eat a few small meals, around five everyday. Each time you eat, dont eat until you're bursting full, maybe around 80% full. You can have something light in between your main meals. That's what I do.But take note, crash diet does not work. It's only temporary and your weight will pile back fast, more than before too. So, dont starve yourself.Remember perseverance is the way. All the best p/s - might be a little off topic but I hope it helps. hehe

millie 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2008 It depends what I can get at home and office. Hehe. Sometimes I have a piece of wheat bread or a few pieces of fibres biscuits. Other time maybe its potato chips or dark chocolates or my favourite oreo. Hehe. It's okay if you wanna have your ice cream or cheese cake as long as you do not overeat. The more you abstain from these food, you might give up on your diet plan easily. So, once in a while it's okay as long as you take it in moderation. No matter how healthy a food is, if you were to take it in a large amount, you'll eventually gain weight too. And drink more fluids, sometimes you might mistaken your hunger pang for thirst

Thanks... and some diet plan too.. hehe..So can anyone discuss here? hope to hv some reference..Hi there.I've got an easy solution for weight loss and it stays off too!! Your metabolic rate wouldnt be wrecked and you will burn fats daily too!9am-1pm daily, drink green tea (it's full of nutrients, it caould be considered as your breakfast too). I prefer OSK Green Tea (prince ranges between RM16-99 - RM24-99 for 50 teabags).Have lunch.2pm - 6pm daily - drink Kinohimitsu tea (peppermint or ginger variant) or Trudtox tea7pm -730pm - Have something light for dinner - fruits/yoghurt, anything not fat laden (avoid rice if possible, except brown rice)Before you sleep, have a glass of fibre drink (I recommend Phyto Fibre from PHHP).Do this every day. I lost 6 kgs within 2 months which was way back in September 2007 and I havent gained an ounce ever since! All the best to you Cantopig!

Teff 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2008 How much is Kinohimitsu tea, Trudtox tea and Phyto Fiber from PHHP?Trudtox is quite costly..RM25-90 for a bag of 5 teabags I think. You can get those in Watsons, Guardian, or any pharmacy. I prefer Kinohimitsu tea the peppermint variant especially. It costs around RM16-90 - RM19-90 (Carrefour is selling it for RM16-90, other pharmacies RM19-90) for a bag of 14 teabags. As for Phyto Fibre, u can only purchase it from an authorised PHHP retailer. It's quite costly too but it really cleans the intestines well. RM68-RM80 for 15 sachets.Hope that helps.

You do not wanna harm your body by ingesting it once, let alone 1 full month. Try fibre drinks and cleansing teas which are senna-free and laxative-free. Those can be consumed for a lifetime and impose no harm on human body.
`cherish 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2008 I am in Guardian today planning to find some detox or fibre based drinks. I finally settle on Kinohimitsu. I just want to know is it okay that I consume it for 14 days or less in a month? It is not very expensive but as a poor student, buying a box of it already cost 10% of my monthly income, so I cannot afford to buy 2 boxes in a month. I am interested to try out fibre drinks as well, but since there are no recommendations here, so I settle on cleansing tea first. Would appreciate if anyone suggests and good fibre base drinks. Cleansing tea or fibre drinks are better?Comments please
Teff 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 Well, to tailor to your budget, maybe u can take the kinohimitsu tea like on alternate days so that a box may last u about 28 days? And as to which is better, aiyoo sorry I cant really say la coz from my personal opinion (and budget, LOL) I tend to go for both. Coz fibre based cleansers provide the roughage and "bulk" for the intestines hence "scraping" whatever it is you have in there to be expelled together with the "swollen" fibre. Cleansing teas on the other hand dont provide the same kinda "bulking" effect but they aid cleansing by purging toxins from the body. And cleansing teas taken hot after lunch would help digestion and aid toxin expulsion progressively. You wouldnt wanna take fibre based cleansers after lunch would you? LOL coz you'd feel too full you might explode! hahaha..FYI, I take fibre based cleansers before going to bed at night so that the body gets to rest and the fibre gets to work so that the next morning. But you've gotta make sure that you drink tonnes of water throughout the day tho or the fibre's just gonna get stuck to your intestinal lining and make u constipated even more. Teff 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2008 What I meant was each night u take the fibre based drink, the next day u must consume lots of water to increase the bulk of the consumed fibre to assist in producing good bowel movements.

Teff 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2008 LOL..yeah some actually taste nasty..it makes you feel like puking coz it congeals the moment u mix it with water. Hence you gotta drink it immediately upon mixing. But am sure there are several good tasting ones out there...orange flavoured, lemon, all sorts. For starters maybe u can try Metamucil... eden 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2008 hi girls... if possible, please don't use slimming tea to lose weight. I tried already, it's really effective but have side effect after that which is not worth it... last time i take slimming everyday, so every night i go to toilet 4 times so basically i didn't absorb any nutrient from my food. And this continue for few months. The result is, i really slim down a lot, but after that i develop skin allergy and bad complexion, feeling cold all the time, this is due to malnutrition. If you really want to take slimming tea, make it only once a week, and please don't go for extreme...
