Kayc 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 Ok I've just relocated to Penang and I'm starting to get my "beauty" contacts sorted out. Anyone can recommend any good beauticians at a reasonable price? I'm willing to go to their homes to do the facial and it's not a problem.Preferably near Gurney area but not crucial as I drive. Please help as I'm like a lost fish here Awaiting your feedbacks!!TIA. hugs
insomnia1 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2007 My aunt is doing home saloon in penang. She has been working in Japan as beautician for about 10 years time, her massage and guasa skill is very good too. She can do it at your place or u can go to her place. I had PM the contact number. Maybe u can give it a try. Very reasonable price.
bronze_chiqz 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2007 u can try Burmese Square, Jalan Chow Thye. There's a salon called Soul & Body .their massages are excellent and very reasonable. I've never tried their facials before, but they're also doing facials using Pevonia products frm USA.Another one is Cherro, just opposite gurney plaza. However, i'd strongly recommend the Soul & Body.if u want, pm me i can provide u the details
crazychick 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2007 If you don't mind doing a little driving, i highly recommend Aster Spring at Queensbay. The facialists there are pretty nice and not pushy. if you're a first time customer, remember to ask for your buy 1 free 1 package

prettyugly 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2008 Aster Spring is using Dermalogica products rite? Anyone tried the facial at their branch at Aeon Seberang Prai City, BM? What's their price range for facial?I just have a free consultation session, bought one starter kit for RM188 with one free complete facial session. Overall is like, the person will use some light device to check your skin. asking a lot of questions about your lifestyle. Then recomend the starter kit for you, they have 4 types (oily, normal/oily, normal/dry, and dry) but they change my starter kit according to my test result. They gave me the normal/oily range, and change a hydrating mask for me, telling me that I got normal, ance prone skin which need more hydration... hm... next week will be going to thier facial session... and see how is it. so far, I used the dermalogica products... smells terrible... yeah, they do not have fragrance and alcohol... bla bla... feels a bit burning, but nice actually. The result... still on test, tell ya next week. the starter kit include 1 wash, 2 types of scrub, toner, moisturizer, a make up remover sample and one mask. It can be used for one week. prettyugly 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 Here is my review on aster spring after 2 times visit:pushiness = not much (which is thier best part)service = great, they explain every procedureenvironment = great... simply greatprice = expensive... RM178 for a facial + some massage is not really worth it.they will normally recomend people to do soothing aromatherapy which is the most not worthy facial.they not allow me to take other more economical course, which i don't think their soothing aromatherapy worth more than that.have lots of great promotion... if they allow me to take the cheaper option, i'll take.generally they are great but just expensive... and they have other kind of plot to earn your money by eliminating pushiness. tenderly 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2008 If you are looking for salons using dermalogica, there is one called faceveil. They have two boutiques; 1) Farlim2) Gembira Paradei have been going there for 2 years and i like it there because:- 1) it is not franchised, thus the advice and service are better2) less expensive compared to Leonarde Drake. 3) longer and more thorough compared to LD. http://www.faceveil.com/facial ranges from RM99 to .... my treatment is RM158 RM188, if i am not mistaken. signed up for so many packages that i forgot which is which ... anyway they provide IPL too.. my beautician just talked to me about it.. since i have a little physical scars and oily skin. any advice for this? it is so expensive. 10 times for RM4K... bearyfishy 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2009 Have you ever heard abt Nardia? I v been going there for facial for 2 yrs plus..I'm staying somewhere around Sg. Dua, so I always go to the Nardia branch located at Crystal Point Call Ngie Beauty..The facial fee is from the range of RM88-RM268. I normally sign up the package RM1080, RM108 each time (10times package free 2 times) and I go once a mth. So far I'm ok with their service, not pushy at all. I didn't use their product coz expensive, the extraction is painful but clean. The RM108 inclusive of extraction, ultrasound with ampoule, peel off mask, face and shoulder massage, whole session takes abt 2 hrs.

*~YuMikO~* 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2009 Dejoyce. I went there for facial 7-8 years already. their extraction is really good and clean. However they are getting more and more expensive. It's Rm77 for normal standard facial wit ampoules. But now the RM77 they change to some cheap cream mask. And you got to pay RM108 for normal standard facial with better mask. Any more better alternatives? I need super clean extraction. Slimming Beauty facial sucks!! dont go!!! May be it is okie for those with great complexion and less blackheads. rosy1 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2009 Hi Penangnites, Just in case u all want to know, found out in Penang got another Assata Centre that is in Bukit Jambul. Heard is in front of the Jambul shopping centre. Also just found out tehy got one new Assata product promo very worth it. Pay $299 can get 4 products - 1 toner, 1 sun block, i serum and 1 gel cleanser. Actaully normal rpice is $460 i think. Aiyo all the products in the set so nice to u. U all must try. The gel cleanser makes my face so clean and so fresh - really must try and so big size - 240ml. The toner starting use, sting a bit. After i spray few times, no more sting and face so soft and smoothe. Maybe I spray after extraction, so sting a bit. The serum is for blackheads and whiteheads. I really really suggest u all try this one. After the 3rd day I use this serum, my blackhead come out by itself. And the funny thing, the blackhead is croaked one, and not straight and very long also. And I just press press a bit on my nose and all come out. So wonderful!
