Kellyn 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 i just bought a Clinique Pore Minimizer Thermal-Active Skin Refiner today, it feels warm after u add abit of water n rub into ur face. My question is: Is my face suppose to be red after i washed it off becos of the heat??? or is it i dont suit using it? Becos both sides of my cheek areas hav visible pores so i applied there, but after i rinsed off those areas looks red..just wondering is it normal or my skin is sensitive to it? thanksHeats on contact with water to open pores, dislodge debris. Then polish away skin-dulling flakes with an exclusive complex of six gentle, effective exfoliants. Skin feels wonderfully smooth, incredibly clean. And pores look noticeably smaller—instantly, and over time. i bought the pore minimizer for T zone and shine control, not sure it works on my big pores or not... now trying hard to treat it myself... i know adonis advertised on paper they have skin care specially for pores but let's try the clinique products first b4 adonis.. Missy Z 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 i was confused like yejune.. i dont know if you guys are talking clinique or cellnique.. cause there were people talking about cellnique then clinique again.
Kellyn 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 i think cellnique is the copy want.. they want to make customer confuse so put cellnique instead of clinique... just like the electronic goods brand, panasonic but someone copied in pensonic..
Kellyn 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 good or not? hehehe i just bought it last 2 weeks ah.. haven't see the result yet.. will let u know.
yejune 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 well....but i think both of the producuts got their identity in the market....clinique more to basic step..cellnique more to renew..haha...as long as suit my skin la...i used clinique when i was in univ life.....quite good also...but later got ppl said, the soap contains acid and the toner also got alcohol, so i stop using it.....now using cellnique, quite good especially the sebum gel and the rest of the products..somemore got 10% off and also samples...and if u intro ppl for facial, u got one free facial.....quite ok ma, right? Missy Z 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 about the soap contains acid.. this i never heard before only about the toner contain alcohol.but i once heard a make up artist saying that the toner which contain alcohol is better, of course mild alcohol, otherwise cannot really wipe away the dirt. yejune 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 missy z:should be alkaline..tested by those nuskin pro skincare speacialist....i tot toner is to minimise the pore..and to firm the skin....as i know water base skincare will be better thn skincare product tht contain alcohol.... Cel 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Clinique's toner is special..it's meant to also lightly exfoliate to remove dead skin cells and other dirty particles..
c@rris@ 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Clinique's 3 step skincare also dodn't suit me very well i tried the samples make my skin feel a bit weird and then the next day got breakout's that's why it's very important to try first b4 buying coz not everything is suitable for everyone's skin but i tried the anti-blemish gel (night) this is really good i put a thin layer over the pimple the next day almost gone already quite a good product i think i have a sample of the turnaround also but haven't tried it yet.. shadowprincess 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 clinique works really good for me... my skin cannot use products with no alcohol... clinique products makes my skin feel clean and all that...
JustineBibi 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 I had to return some of my Clinique products that I bought last week makes my skin feel rough, sometimes itchy and red at night! I returned the Facial Soap, Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser and the Total Turnaround Visible Skin Renewer. I got a refund for all those products Now I have to look for a new cleanser so scared now to try others! ohh..i can't use Clinique too..the toner recommended by the promoter was too harsh for me..it stings my fae.. Cel 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 Which toner did u use? 1, 2 or 3? What skin type do u have?
JustineBibi 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 the lady at the counter asked me to use No3.but i actually have combination skin, and it really shows on my cheeks.dry on the surface but oily underneath.i think skincare promoters should really analyse customers' skin before the recommend something instead of just wnating to hit the target. Missy Z 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 i dont know how was it in your case.. but so far those promoters i met did really analyse my skin, and one more thing, its true that not every thing is suitable for anyone. thats why there are so many other brands are available in the market. Cel 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2005 the lady at the counter asked me to use No3.but i actually have combination skin, and it really shows on my cheeks.dry on the surface but oily underneath.i think skincare promoters should really analyse customers' skin before the recommend something instead of just wnating to hit the target. I have combination skin too and the promoter recommended me No. 2. She said to move on to No. 3 only after using it for a few years. Did your face turn red or itchy after putting it on? Cause if it only stings, it's not that bad cause Clinique's toner is meant to sting a little when applied on..probably the effect of gentle exfoliation.. shadowprincess 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2005 cel... my SA also told me to use no2 first.. then after a year i moved on to no.3 ....works great for me... no.2 is more mild than no.3 .. if ur face cannot tahan no.2, better dont buy anymore... coz if it doesnt work, then there is no way u can make it work.. now ur skin is the boss
