Kimono / Yukata

Recommended Posts

hello, newbie here ^^ stumbled upon this forum while browsing the net... :clapclap:

i would like to ask if anyone knoew where i could get a Kimono in Klang Valley area? My friend needed it kinda urgent in about 2 weeks' time and preferably a place that would rent out kimonos for a day or two...

if there's none (which i doubt if there's any... :( ) then does anyone know where to tailor one (because not all shops tailor it), how long it will take and the estimation of the price?

i heard from another friend that bridal shop might have kimonos for rent but that is... i don't think we have it here, do we? kyaaaaaaaa i am so clueless on stuffs like this...

anyway thanks for any replies ^^ ... ASAP :D

bon odori those is not kimono its yukata.

kimono is for formal function and yukata is for summer wear basically the material use is different silk vs light cotton. Kimono mostly use wedding and formal function and yukata is more for everyday wear (traditionally)

each pair cost abt RM 300 or more depending on material (as I remember)
