since it's drying out ur skin, y dun u try a milk based cleanser? can u specify what type of combination skin u hv? if it's just slightly oily on the t-zone, gel based cleanser in the long run can really dry up ur skin.

for me my fav would always be essential cleansing solution from dermalogica.

I have oily t-zone and normal cheek areas.

I use:

1. Simple's Refreshing Cleansing Gel RM19 (around)

2. Simple's Moisturising Foaming Cleanser RM19 (around)

3. Dermalogica's Precleanse RM139 (not sure was it RM169 or RM139, forgot)

4. Dermalogica's Special Cleansing Gel RM150++

5. Dermalogica's Anti-Bac Cleanser RM150++

I don't use all at one time but for when i don't wear makeup and is at home, i use no 1 & 2 (double cleanse). If i go out, with or without makeup, i use 3 and 4 or 5. I use 5 once a week as advised by my aesthician.

Last time i use Johnson pH 5.5 mild facial cleanser... this is the best cleanser i ever use and keep buying it for the whole year... non drying at all, removes make-up perfectly and balance oil on my face. Price is only RM4.50... :thumbup1: (highly recommended)

my skin is combination, oily on the T-zone

now i'm trying the Elianto grape yogurt face cleanser, for the past few days... it works well and non drying too... the price is RM18.00

additional info :wub: :

1) milk and yogurt are perfect for cleaning oil and debris on our face

2) balanced skin pH can control oil secretion

i'm afraid dat mile based cleanser will be too rich for my skin....

my t-zone is very oily n my gel based cleanser dries out my cheeks n skin on my nose peels off sometimes....

if you are sensitive and acne skin please try CETAPHILL this is ultra mild cleanser that really multiple usaage. I have combo skin which normal at T zone but dry on cheek. I use this cleanser after no more money to continue my dermalogica essentula solution cleanser. This cleanser is just great. it is just simply smooth and clean after use it. It is not strong enough to remove make up but if you happen to travel and runnin gout of time to wash your face this super mild cleanser can just clean off the dirt on your face. use it with small facial cotton and wipe you face , no need rinse off because it is mild enough. this cleanser is not only for face even you can use on your neck or body. my fren who go for skin doctor also recomend her use this cleanser. i use this for my little baby as well. LOVE IT! RM15.00 FOR 125 ML worth it!

from ur description, ur skin is showing signs of dehydration. if not treated it may lead to sensitivity n u'll hav more things to worry then. u can always use a milk cleanser n tissue off (with facial cotton) before u rinse

OR

use a milk cleanser on whole face, followed by gel cleanser on oily areas (normally t-zone and/or chin)

i just use Nivea for Men. I found it to be most suitable with my oily skin. Last time I used Eversoft Avocado... but i got really irritated with the too dry skin i get after drying off.

but really weird after I got sunburnt after a sea fishing trip (forgot my sunblock)... i noticed there were less oil at the T zone...

a skin specialist told me not to use products with 'milk' or 'cream' in the description as it might be too rich for my 'oily' skin. so i'm thinking of using water-based products. which are the best ones? i have t-zone skin too but it gets oilier as the day progresses. my nose and cheeks are prone to drying out though :(

i tried neutrogena before but it really dried my skin out..it felt a little too harsh..

i've combination skin..oily T-zone

i'm currently using a mismatch of most brands depending on my mood..but i find that the brand Eucerine matifying facial cleanser one of the better ones so far..it cost about rm29.90 from guradian or watson.

i think it works much better than estee lauders cleanser.

hmm....gonna try neutrogena since thee's so many favs....

which cleanser of neutrogena u all use?

I used alot of cleanser b4. Clara, Clarin, Juliana Francoise, Body Shop, Dermalogica and now Neutrogena. Dermalogica and Neutrogena are good. Money wise Neutrogena is the best for me.

StarzY, if u have oily with pimples skin i suggest u to try Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Foam Cleanser (this is :thumbup1: ) or Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Cream Cleanser (use this if u have alot of pimples else will be too dry).

If u have normal or combination skin, Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser is the best. I used this. It cleanse the skin deep down into the pores without over drying. It leave your skin just nice.
