i hav a big worry now..i wish some of the babes can provide me with my ans..thanks vl much..
2day i went 2 beauty saloon...the beautician helped me to squeeze all da pimples out..including the whitehead n blackhead....i dunno wat the process is called..some sort starting with "e"...after tis,she used a tool tat wil produce some zit zat sounds when it touches my face.....

when i came back from da saloon...i noticed tat the areas being popped reddish...one or two areas even have small holes..i m super worried tat they might leave scars...is it considered normal?

ya it's actually quite normal ler..
everytime go facial the beautician will help u clear ur blackheads,whiteheads and pimples...
at first definitely will be very red..but dun worry take care of ur skin well and the red spots will be gone...
but if the symptoms still persists better go look for ur beautician again..

the zaping thing is to kill the bateria that's left over after she extracted all your pimples... coz sometimes, even after extraction, the pimples will pop back out again.. that electric thingy is to kill the remeaining so that it wont do that.. it will not harm ur skin or make u haf scars... it is red coz of the extraction... not the zaping. dun worry.. by now there should be no more redness left.

hehehe yea..extraction! i used to have lots of comedones, and my face will be super red for a few days. Depends on individual, some redness will go off fast.
Then after that, from red will be like some hard thing..and when it drops off, my face is clear!

my bro went to clara and they squeezed all his acne out eventhough it was sooo painful. HE ACTUALLY CRIED!

i can feel the pain just by watching him when he gets home. the acnes are then super swollen and has gotten worst. we paid a few thousands for that darn treatment and it made my bro's face worst. he is so darn traumatised now and we have completely blacklisted clara. i mean when they were in the process of squeezing his pimples, blood, pus and etc were coming out and they kept pressing hard. we told them we dont think that is the way it should be but they kept insisting that THIS is the only way to cleanse all the toxines or something like that.

i think that's just the ultimate bullshit. so please, be careful. i dont want the same thing to be happening to you.

they are not supposed to squeeze too hard or it'll cause unecessary scarring and bruises.... good dermatologist will know this... i have grown up with a mother who is a beautician so i know... however, even saying this, sometimes, u need to press slightly harder to get all the gunk out.. the aim is to get out the head of the pimple which is a hard bola thingy that's yellow in color.. it looks like a tiny fish egg basically. if u dont take that out, all will be in vain and the pimple will keep coming back out.

when u go for facials, go to places with very good reputation... and with this being said, the most expensive doesnt mean the best.... leonard drake is an example of a place that is super expensive but results can be considered good but not exceptional...

i watch " Nui ren wo jui da" de taiwan program...the nu er said pimples, black or whitehead better dun squee it..it may leave scar and make u hav to clean it more often.... he said use AhA thing to clear it without leaving any scar.......... Hai reli hate pimples A!!!

Go to those good reputation facial centre which has been recommended by friends. Dont go to those based on advertisement. Its not just about scars, it will be more problems like pitholes on the face. Holes here and there. To treat pitholes , it even cost $$$$$$. So, be careful when you did facial. Oh yeah, btw Clara not good. Ive tried and i know.

eh u think miracle meh? there will always still be pimples unless u clean up ur diet, drink lots of water,exercise and ur hormone stabilizes... or you can take the easy "unrecommended" way out which is to take accutane.... facials are not the miracle cure for acne prone skin.. one time facial will not cure everything..... i grew up having facials done ever since puberty and i STILL have pimples now.. and i'm 22 years old...

i have blemish free skin for as long as i can remember... but then dunno what happen last year, suddenly start having breakouts... first little bit only.. but now....sigh.... and its those big big red ones... damm painful..and it leaves scars on my face...

i used to have breakouts too..not many but mostly one or two at a time.
especially during that time of the month..and i always squeeze them..yup, i always squeezed
till the head of the pimple come out..so darn geram..then after that for sure got scars..
i hav combination skin, quite oily..then my mum made me use the Amway skin care set..after
1 month, my skin darn smooth..scars also almost gone..unnoticeable ady..seriously..
no more pimples or whiteheads n blackheads..
before this, i use acne treatment gel, cream, etc..
nothing worked..

I agree with the other babes about carefully choosing a beauty salon. I went for facial in a reputable salon about a year ago and at that time, I had a large pimple on my cheek. The beautician squeezed it so hard! I was telling her maybe to just leave it because it was so painful when she squeezed it. She just went on squeezing it and I was so scared! It came out finally but it took practically half a year for that spot to heal!! So for me, whenever I have pimples, I just do mask, put the pimple gel on it and allow it to drop off and heal itself.

I used to squeeze my nose and pimples and just leave it like that with toner, but sometimes it will create dark spot scar if serious. After my face recover completely after treatments 3 months ago, i did squeeze the blackhead myself because i heard that not all beanticians are expert in doing that. A little too hard will hurt ur pores and make it larger and larger. somehow have to be more 'rajin' lar, i apply whole set of product to my face everyday. remember must apply restruturing masque which will make ur blemishes not tat visible the nexy day b4 u sleep, although might abit hurt in the first few second but it works!! who cares!! good luck to you yeah!

I used to go for facials and they squeezed my skin until it is so red and blemished, even caused scarring that I've to live with now. So sad, I really regretted. After I stopped all facials and squeezing, my complexion has gotten even better by just using regular exfoliator and mask.
