yenyen 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 yes yes aileng... any contact no please... btw, is the procedure effective? do you need to go back for a second or third treatment? i heard after the treatment, it takes a few days for the veins to disappear entirely... is it true? sorry aileng, as i said, very desperate. i actually found a Dr Loh Surgery in Singapore and it costs around SGD1050. But if they have it in Malaysia, I'd rather not go to Singapore then.

Infact im his regular customer. Do you personally see Dr. Kho himself? Or you be attend by the nurses? coz he seldom attend his patients, him if you ever been there you know what i mean. Anyway, personally saying Dr. Kho is good in skin problems la. Those external ones. Like open pores, pimples, pit holes.. and stuffs like that. He's also good in doing nose surgery and removing eye bags via surgery. However, i dont think treatments for veins are popular there. Maybe its out of his expertise. Maybe you should try those good doctors in Singapore. Someone who's good in plastic surgery perhaps. Maybe they can recommend you what you can do with your veins problems. Since veins i guess nothing to do with skin problems. I heard there were good clinics in SG for veins problems. I'll let if you if i come thru it again. WTF! i hv to go throught the whole laser treatment in PAIN!! my skin condition is quite bad tho...bt now, eveything is fine d...those pimple mark on my cheek all gone d... actually u can get a lot of info on spider vein in the internet...n it's stated there that those vein will return even after u went for laser treatment...bt then, not all the vein will reappear...in my case, most of the vein didnt reappear, only a few reappear...so, hv to put more efford in preventing those vein from reappear-ing...i'm trying to get those vitamin k cream...i've went to a few pharmacies...bt they dun hv it...haihzz...i'm asking my bro to get for me in aussie...bt then dunno can bring back here anot...cos maybe it's not registered in malaysia...dun expose urself too much in the sun...n try to use product which contain grape extract, horse chestnut n another dunno what berry d...it'll help to prevent spider vein oso...i've just join a MLM company named Synergy...i'm using thier DNA cream...it's quite effective for me n it helps lighten the vein...bt then the member fees it quite expensive n then they need u to do a maintainance of rm300 everymonth...so, unless u r going to use most of their health product or u r interested in doing MLM, it's not worth it to join...i dun mind getting for u(with member price) if u r interested...provided that u r staying within klang valley... anyway, good luck to u k?! dun worry too much! the laser treatment does help! just that u hv to do some prevention after the treatment! n pray that it wont come back! cos there r cases that after the treatment, the vein did not reappear again...p/s: most doc will tell u that laser will cure facial vein completely! bt then, if u r kinda close with them, they'll let u know that they cant be 100% sure that it will not reappear again... Dr.koh will only do consultation most of the time...other than that, all those other procedure r done by his nurses...that's y i prefer Dr.Ting or Dr.Surey or Dr.Nathan...u r rite quennie...there's is a clinic in SG which is specially for vein treatment...it's call joyce skin clinic if i'm not mistaken...cos i went throught an article abt that clinic quite some time ago...it's stated that there are PRO in treating vein, they will do a face mapping n vein mapping 1st to hv a good view on the 'starting' point n the 'ending' point of the vein, just to make sure that the laser is 'hit' on the right spot to kill off the vein...bt then it's too far for me n it's too costly... yenyen 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2006 thank you so much diion! ur views and experiences i will take into much consideration sigh.. actually i hope the laser is not a 'must'. if there other and easier options i would take it. but thanks for recommending stuff like the vitamin k cream. i checked it out in the internet and it seems quite popular for broken blood vessels. i'll try n ask the specialist later to see if they hv this in store. in the meantime, i'm praying that there'll be a miracle and these red veins would all disappear!!! yeah, honestly i think singapore is a very good plc to get all this treatments cos they are so advanced in means of techonology and expertise. i found one plc called dr loh surgery. it has everything! sigh.. but so far and so expensive. sheene 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2009 Hi, I heard about Dr. Ting in Jalam Imbi but he is good in treating skin problems. I've been to Klinik Ko a few times and I think he is nice and good. Even the price is abit too expensive but you can always have a word with him. He will give special discount. I did a few treatments in his clinic for my open pores and scarring. It does help reduce the size of it. All i can say here is that laser treatment needs alot of patience to get it treated. And also depends on your expectations. If its too high, of course u will not think that d treatment works on u.I suggest you request to see Dr. Ko and personally asked or request him to do the treatment for a better result. Trust me girls, it does really work. Give it another try....Cheers
