mimosaz 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2006 i really like glitters. but i dunno how to play around with it. the sifu-s in here, got any idea??hmm... u can try putting glitters at one corner of ur nails... or just at the tips... or when u draw flowers, apply it at the middle of the flowers...hmm~ way to do it is, after applying the base colour u choose, let it dry... after that, apply a thin layer of topcoat at the area u wan the glitter to be at... then sprinkle glitters on ( it will only paste on places with topcoat ) use a big brush to sweep away the access.... then the final step, apply one more layer of top coat on the entire nail. ( it works as a protective layer )u can try using 2 different colours of glitters (example : pink & silver )... the thing u need to remember is to divide 2 times to do it...means that, u put a layer of top coat, apply the pink glitters first.... sweep off extras, let it dry slightly, after that, apply top coat again at the place u want the silver glitter to b at... then sprinkle glitters on...as simple as that~ hehe~~u can oso make shapes with glitters... if u use top coat to draw a heart shape, when u sprinkle glitter on, it will become a heart shape...hope u hv a nice time trying...
