I would like to share what happened to me and alert on purchasing voucher for salon service. -what happened... On last Friday(13 July), I visited Zen'th spa Mid Valley blanch to redeem the voucher, which was available til 17 July.The visit became last minute because although I called few times, I couldn't get reservation on my availability. When I visited Zen'th spa, a staff asked me if I am Malaysian citizen. As I am expatriate, I answered with this. Then, she said "sorry, this is only for Malaysian.It is noted in code and statement.” Also, “We don't force you to purchase. You didn't read term&condition and bought." Then, she rejected to provide service for me. Of course, I have gone through clear sentences in service description and voucher but didn't see such a statement. Till then, that staff attitude have kept being bad. I was fine with not taking service from such a level of salon. But I paid for this service already so I asked her just to refund it. She said "we can't. Actually, the money went to voucher selling site and doesn't come to us. So, you should talk with them". She was so desperate to prove that she and salon are RIGHT and it's my mistake to purchase without reading condition, throwing any kinds of hospitality into dust bin. Other than that, nothing she is able to do. I had given up to talk nonsense with her and left the salon.... -verification After that, I went through voucher description page and voucher itself again and again. But, there was NOTHING which mentions the voucher is only for Malaysian. Staff accused me that it is my fault I didn't read condition properly. The statement which I can't find even after reading voucher description page many times is clear to everyone? I saw such a statement with other voucher site's accommodation voucher recently but it is very clearly mentioned with bold characters. I am not sure if the staff just mistook with some other vouchers. But, I think it depends on the salon and staff if they provide service or not, regardless I am expatriate and they published voucher as limited to Malaysian. Besides this issue, even when I made reservation finally over call, staff said "you call last minute even though the voucher redeem term is 3 months. All slots are booked"(so, should I give up??) It is their mistake that just sell without calculating how many slots they can provide. Not putting themselves on customer's shoes, how they can do proper customer service business? I haven't heard single apology word from them through the events. The service charge I paid was not big since it is voucher but the experience with them was outrageous. I will pursue them and voucher site till I get refund. Please be careful of salon's reputation in advance to purchase the vouchers.
