Skin 11

I went for their free treatment and got introduced to their package. I am hesitant to sign up for that though. My boyfriend did, his problem is with his severe acne. He's only been to the free treatment and signed up for the package on the spot, got the products and started on them immediately. I can see that his skin condition has improved in a week (not much acne break out and actually looks quite good - which is very rare for him). But for me (I used his products - those 3 I mentioned) I don't find that the facial trial and products help much at all. Sure after the extraction my face was clear of blackheads for maybe 2 days, but the pores were still darn large and they got clogged full again within a week although I used the blackhead gel religiously the whole time. I went to the Puchong one... they seemed quite friendly during the treatment but pushy when it came to selling the package. How do they exfoliate the face? I've never done facial treatment before and I'm not quite sure if they did that during the free trial though they put a lot of mask on my face.

Hey babes! Just wondering if any of you have been to Skin 11? If yes, how do you find the facial treatment there? I'm having a face full of blackheads and clogged open pores, so I'm thinking to sign up for a treatment package there. RM 899 for 10 sessions and 3 products (facial wash, blackhead gel and toner). Worth the deal?

Hairspray

There's 2 type I think. One is dark blue bottle and I think it is not really a "spray". Another is baby blue bottle the sprays out extremely fine mists of "moisture" onto your hair. I have the baby blue one.

Giordano

Jeans do expand a little after washes. When I bought a pair of Jean's a Levi's it was a little tight, but the next size was loose. So the saleperson told me that jeans expand a little after washing. And now it fits me just nice, not too tight and not loose.

Hairspray

Erm, what kind of hairspray are you looking for? There're many different types that perform different functions. One is of course like what Cas said, whereas the one I have is to make my hair soft and smooth. It's Dove Essential Care Instant Moisture Spray, it softens the hair.

Shampoo

I'm using Dove now. It really makes my hair feel soft and smooth, something I've never experience with other shampoos. Bear in mind I have dry and rough hair, and I have a lot of hair it makes my head look bigger than it should be. Even the hairdresses I went to once teased me that my hair grow much more than the amount of hair lost every day and the amount being cut away. But now my hair sticks to my head more and doesn't fluff up so much. Oh, it really doesn't make my scalp oily. I'm using the Dove Essential Care Shampoo + Conditioner + Leave On Instant Moisture Spray (All packaged in light blue bottles).
7. It's a hoax at the very first glance. Seriously... http://www.spamdailynews.com/publish/Hoax_...ses_cancer_.asp Sophos technical support has received an increasing number of reports of the Lipstick chain letter from concerned computer users in the last few days. The emails claim that some brands of lipstick contain a dangerously high level of lead which can cause cancer. The email appears to be one of the many hoax emails claiming that a variety of everyday products can cause cancer. We've had anti-perspirant, shampoo, washing up liquid and now lipstick. This particular email says that a number of well known brands of lipstick contain lead. It claims that the longer your lipstick stays on, the more lead it contains. The email goes on to tell you how to test if the lipsticks you wear contain lead. It suggests that you put some lipstick on your hand scrape a gold ring across it and if the lipstick stripe turns black then it has lead in it. None of this is true. The main ingredients in lipsticks are wax and oils. Then, of course, you need a dye to give the lipstick color. This is where the real, but minuscule risk of lead comes in. According to the FDA, some dyes used to make some cosmetics do contain trace amounts of lead. However, the manufacturing process in the United States and many other nations is stringently monitored and each batch is tested to make sure that any lead content is well below that considered dangerous to humans. Will scratching a stripe of lipstick with a gold ring reveal lead? No. This claim appears to be drawn from an old alchemist's trick of testing the purity of gold by rubbing ore on a dark stone (often containing lead) and comparing the streak with another of known quality. However, the process does not work in reverse. Even if it did, there would not be a large enough concentration of lead in a strip of lipstick to produce a visible change. Real, reliable detection of lead in a product requires rigorous scientific testing, and cannot be achieved "on the cheap" using normal household products. "Chain letters like this are too easily forwarded to friends, family and colleagues without people using their common sense. Stories like this become urban legends, constantly being repeated without anyone bothering to check the facts," said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos. "Hoaxes and chain letters like this are not harmless - they waste time and bandwidth, and can be a genuine headache for support departments. Users need to be more skeptical, and ask themselves whether everything they are told by email can be believed." Users should simply delete the email, and not forward it onto their friends and colleagues.
8. Never really hang out at photokaki. Will have a look there soon. I don't know about photokaki, but LM is quite active in the sense that they organise talks and seminars every month and renowned photogs are invited to conduct the talks. They have workshops once in a blue moon, and members there organise photography outings quite often. Don't know about photokaki la Will check it out though. Hmm couldn't stretch my budget beyond that, so I'll just have to make do with my Fuji.
9. No DSLR, sorry Only a budget cam that costs RM599. No money for lens and body
10. Still a beginner with a budget cam, that's all. Will have an outing to get some interesting pictures (hopefully) this weekend. If you're interested I'll pm you where I post my pictures
11. Hehe, I have yet to browse through your gallery. Hope to learn a thing or two from you
12. Erm, there IS a camera called lomo alright. It's Lomo LC-A. Lomography is actually derived from the camera model itself. Lomo IS NOT "just a name for one type of photographic art." LOL. People call this effect Lomography because it is special and more often than not, the effect can only be obtained (without any Photoshop faking) by using the Lomo LC-A. Of course, Lomo LC-A is a film camera. Source There are many types of Lomo cameras besides the LC-A. Among these are the fish-eye lomo and other lomos I can't even begin to name. About your photos, the colours are not saturated enough and the contrast isn't high enough as compared to photos taken using Lomo LC-A. Also, the yellowish reddish stain on your photos, I've never seen it on any real lomo photos. Not that I've seen anyway. The last picture right, I don't think that's considered a lomo photo. It's looks like a plain old photo where the colours are kinda chipped off. I mean, lomo cams aren't capable of producing that kind of photos. Vigenetting yes, colours chipping off in streaks and small dots and patches? I don't think so. Real lomo photos can be found here. You can browse the section for more work from this photog.

Air light nu bra

I've not tried this before, but I think you can use the white first-aid tape (normally used to hold gauze in place) and stick the bra to your skin for additional support. The tape should provide enough extra support and I don't think it's hard to peel off (after all it's used to stick the gauze onto your skin).
14. andie, I love your nails too! Thinking of getting the nail polish like yours but first, may I see the original picture without the photoshoped "bling bling" stars? Wanna know how glittery it actually is before buying it
15. Yeah... these are the only nail polish that I have. Yeah only these 2, hehe. mannchyun: Bottom layer is Shine Star, top layer is Pinkish Pearl. Actually I bought Shine Star and applied it on my nails. A few days later I bought Pinkish Pearl and didn't bother to remove Shine Star, so I just applied the pink one over it using Shine Star as base coat. Hehe. I didn't really like the blue and purple stars on my nails after applying it for the first time. So I removed it and re-applied without the stars. It can still be used as transparent nail polish with glitters. But I think the packaging kind of nice, with the stars in it. Pic by ME.
