  1. QUOTE (Gin2100 @ May 23 2009, 10:26 AM) Im taking only EPO.... Sounds like Lil Flower got a list of menu which she is going to take everyday!!! great... but dont u feel tired having so much things?? I have a pill box to hold all daily supplements so there's less hassle..
  2. QUOTE (NeO SaMuRaI @ Jan 18 2009, 03:11 PM) As much as I'm all for celebrating petite girls...I think that's quite a sweeping generalization mate! All those qualities you listed are admirable and desirable traits, however they are not limited to females of a diminutive nature lol. You can find taller girls with those qualities (in fact I personally know of some), just as much as you can find petite girls who have less desirable qualities too (some can self involved, selfish, conceited etc etc)...chalk it up to human nature! I think you have allowed your perception to be skewed, possibly by how petite/cute girls are portrayed in the media (movies, music videos, dramas etc). But in reality all different types of girls can possess such qualities really. Thumb up! Standing at 167cm myself, still, able to preserve the quality of 'cuteness' vertically.
  3. QUOTE (Marlene @ Mar 8 2007, 02:40 PM) I think everyone needs health supplements to a certain extent as we can't get as much nutrients from our food the way our ancestors did because (1) we're eating more refined and processed stuff now, which are sometimes laden with preservatives too (2) the soils are also depleted of essentials nutrients and minerals due to commercial farming I take cod liver oil, Vit E and EPO though not on a daily basis but i find that i hvnt had a cold in more than 2 years since i've started taking supplements and became more health conscious...though i must admit, i did not see any changes physically. I am suffering from weak liver which is slow in de-toxing so now i'm also takng Vit c and a supplement called MSM ( organic sulfur, which is largely needed by liver for detoxing ) and the effects are great : my nails grow like crazy, my pimples heal within a few days whereas they used to take weeks, and scars clear up real fast too ). Some ppl think it's a waste of money to take supplements but i think taken in moderation ( as per the guidelines given by the manufacturer ) it should be ok and beneficial to health. May I know where you get the supply of MSM? Understood from some pharmacists that in Malaysia, selling of MSM products is prohibited?
  4. My current supplement regime: AM CoQ10 Green lipped mussel (alternate source of glucosamine) Omega 3 / DHA fish oil (molecularly distilled) Noon Grape seed extract Sheep placenta Evening Phyto fiber Night Amino collagen Calcium Planning to replace my source of glucosamine with MSM + hyarulanic acid soon, as well as replacing CoQ10 with xtend-life's multivit that comes with DNA repair. Btw, anyone here tried cellfood?
  5. I stil prefer Dermalogica. They are professional, and the SA not pushy like the other salons. Really patient in doing the facial for you.. and the products are really good on my skin! Have signed up for a programme of RM1300+ in July'07 for 7 times facial + free hand care + free neck care + free eye care. During Xmas, signed up for another programme of RM1600+ where RM1300 is service voucher, RM700 for buying products, RM500 for extra treatment voucher, RM500 for bonus service voucher, and 10 times of the points since I've paid with i-hate-citibank credit card. So the value is much more than that I've paid.... since as a member, I get 10% off all service payment and 5% off all products purchase. On my birthday, I'm entitled for a RM165 worth facial. On top of that, their pre-cleanse was 50% off at that time which I've already bought.. on signing the package, I also entitled for a free gift of Conditioning Body cleansing, Scrub, aromatherapic oil, and a glove which worth RM120. It's really great deal and I have no regret since the service is really satisfactory....

    Blook Bangsar

My experience of shopping at Blook in Bangsar a month ago - they're having Big sales at that point in time. I was told by my friend that I should visit the boutique soonest as their designs and sizes seem to suit me. So there I was. Been looking for discounted items and selected few of the dresses thought of trying them out. The dresses I selected were like having 50-70% discount, i.e. RM120 becomes RM60. On trying out, noted one made me look really fat. So I went out of the fitting room and there this Woman abt 40s (probably the supervisor) was telling me it's supposed to look nice on me and helped adjusting the ribbon for me. I was like, ok la.. but this lady kept on telling me Very nicee......SEe? How nice~~ Eventually I decided to buy it and when making payment, I was like, what? after 50% discount it is RM148??! No wonder.. she was so helpful... thought I could afford more and kept on passing Expensive dresses to me for trying.. Was complaining after I walked out of the shop and been thinking, when I was checking out the price (I normally do that before deciding to try out) it was not that expensive... and this dress really doesn't look like so expensive! Only I noted, geez, the price tag on the dress was actually stating RM68, they strike thru it and written RM296! So I was teling myself, I should have seen the price wrongly as all the <RM100 dresses were grouped together and therefore I didn't realize the dress I was browsing actually priced at RM298! Nevertheless, it's really not worth that much... and morale of the story, always double check the price before making payment........... dun get overjoyed when the SA telling you you look like a model with the clothes.. The other malay SA were alright. I kept on checking discounted items, and maybe they're talking behind me that I was a cheapskate, but overall, not talking in front of me so it's alright. Otherwise I would have broadcasted for them of their poor service esp. that we have good channel like MYB and so many good talkative/expressive sisters here.. *wink*
  8. Hi there, you pay RM2000+ for hair removal of whole body? And when they say permanent removal, does it mean the hair will never grow again afterwards? Lifelong guarantee? How satisfied are you with the treatment there? Anymore promotions at the moment...
