Dear pufferfish, hehehe....good try mah....me also juz bought the rhinestone last week n also my first time but im not yet start lah.. hehe wana ask when u put rhinestone, need put glue or not ? Or juz use the clear nail polish is enought already ?? Thank you
I didn't use any glue, but if you want, I think you can. I just put one dot of clear polish on the spot before I put the stone, and after that go over with clear polish again
2. WAOOOWWW!! I love all ur nails! So gorrrgeoous!! Traclyn, ur nails look so rocker chick Nichole, I like the face you paint. Looks very interesting on a nail hehe. You can buy arcrylic paint at most art supply shops. Prom Girl, I love the black and white flower!!! Btw I made a new post, NOTD dec 2009
3. My first time using rhinestones The stuff I used: I call this Princess French manicure hehe... I got inspired by this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T81zoOthcqU The only difference is that I use one glitter nail polish and one glitter powder instead of two different glitter powder, and I added a rhinestone I painted the pink first, followed by the white, and then used glitter nail polish (Elianto) on about half of the pink part. Waited for it to dry (but it wasn't completely dry) then painted one line of clear polish over the white and pink and sprinkled silver glitter with the brush. After that dried a bit, I put a dot of clear polish on the center and placed the stone with tweezers. Seal with one coat of clear polish and you're done It's very messy I know, but the glitter hides the untidy white line hehe If you notice, I got nail polish on my skin as well Hope you all try it out. It's quite easy, and don't need to be neat haha
4. Hey need help, anyone know where to buy Canmake eyelash essence? I went to Sasa KLCC, pavilion, sg wang... All dun have Keep saying no stock but I think they stop selling. Canmake got new packaging for the product, not sure if price still same
5. I used Canmake eyelash essence. It was so so good but now all Sasa outlets dun sell anymore, keep saying sold out Maybe I'll try vaseline..
6. WAH LAU!!! You are so daring! Even if I complain I don't do it like that haha If I'm not mistaken, The Nail Parlour also open in Wangsa Walk mall. That girl is childish if u ask me. I laughed when u told her to remember ur name hahahaha
7. I also have this problem, mine is not very obvious, sometimes depends on the weather hehe.. My right eye appears bigger, so I put thicker eyeliner on my left eye. When I close my eyes and draw same line, they look different when open. Left one seems like not enough eyeliner. Sometimes the bigger eye needs more eyeliner, depends how your eyelid fold. If you don't want to look 'wayang' maybe you can try using thicker dark eyeshadow instead, and blend it out. No need to put the whole lid, just the part near the lashline. Make sure your eye makeup is even when ur eyes are open. Sometimes when we apply while the eyes are closed, we don't realize they look uneven when open. But then actually quite a number of people got uneven eyes, like my friend. Hers is more obvious, but she doesn't use much eye makeup. She focus on her lips and face. If you do it that way I don't think people will notice
8. I got one millia seed just under my right eye. I have oily skin. I use toner to shrink it. How I do it: I get a cotton wool square (split in half, use half enough) spray it with some water so that the toner won't be too strong. Put a small amount of toner and gently rub over the eye area and the millia seed (and the rest of the face also). I notice that it gets smaller, but doesn't go away completely. I use an eye gel sometimes when the skin feels dry. I'm using the elderflower eye gel from the body shop. Ok ok only, looking for better (and cheaper) eye gel. I tone using clinique's toner for oily skin. Quite good la, but expensive. I buy during sales. I find that gently toning around the eye area helps reduce the oil, and my millia seed is smaller than last time.
9. Very nice! I think the false nail a bit big though I like ur paint work
10. Nice!! I never thought of cutting the brush.. Will try that next time hehee
11. Dun need expensive brush gua... I have a paddle brush that has Peter Rabbit cartoon painting on it, good quality, last long time. I avoid cheap wooden brushes cause they are not very good. For wet hair, use any wide toothed comb. I use paddle brush cause my hair is very thick. What is ur hair like?
12. Haha, I think this thing always happen But I have trust in a stylist who says "You don't need this..." They probably have a lot of business and don't need to sell a lot to make money. Those people who push sales give me the impression that they are not making money cause no one want their service. I know friends who had stylist tell them things like "You need to do rebonding only can cut your hair" or "You should purchase this package" Haiyo, want to cut also need to straighten first... I dun mind those people who recommend stuff, just that if they keep pushing on after I decline, I get annoyed. So far not many stylist has done that to me, most of them stop promoting the product after I said I dun wan. If you're not sure whether to believe ur stylist, I suggest getting second opinion by going to another salon and asking. If possible, ask as many different stylist as u can. If they all say the same thing abt ur hair, they are probably not lying. This is also a good way to see who come up with stories abt ur hair to push product haha..
13. Shower cap is the best. Quite mah fan/ menyusahkan because cannot tie and have to spend a lot of time to get all the hair in. Maybe for fringe can use those cloth head band to hold back first But only for 3 or 4 days so dun worry

All the stylist that I liked moved somewhere far away. I got so bengang with all the other hair stylist that I resort to cutting my own hair. I bought the hair scissors and cut fringe for myself the first time. Now it looks a bit ugly and my hair at the back a bit the senget.. wakakakak..! But today I went to Wangsa Walk Mall (near carrefour wangsa maju) and I found this salon called Nice Salon. It's very small and it seems merged with a cafe, so if ur waiting for ur hair to be done u can order something to eat/drink hehe... It's also called Nice Cafe. They were having promotion and the dry hair cut is only RM20 so my mum went to try. The stylist who did for her was very good, she explained everything about her hair type, texture, how to care, style etc. And she cut for my mum very nice also, she's very patient and meticulous, really take time to go through the hair. I asked her how much it would cost for me to do rebonding, and she said I need only touch up the new hair cause if do the whole head again, can damage the old hair. She quoted RM200 (my hair is thick, frizzy and quite long already). I asked her how much for whole head, and she said no need to do whole head. Her name is Eki, pretty gal with really cool blonde hair I'm going there for rebonding tomorrow. Finally found a good stylist. Weeeee! Name of the saloon: Nice Hair Salon (what a name haha) Place: Wangsa Walk Mall (upstairs) Price: RM20 for dry cut (promotion price, if not, RM30. Still cheap) Why is it good: Honest stylist, not pushing sales, very knowledgeable, patient, skillful, great hair cut at great price! (girl named Eki, or Iki? not sure) very fluent in english also number: 012-6144040 Btw, they use mainly Sebastian products.
