  1. Haha i've been thru so many bad experiences with SAs man. my mom, she wouldnt tolerate this sorta thing and would give shit right back at the rude SA. I try to be a bit like my mom as in not tolerating SAs that are crap. We dont really mind SAs that are slow or blur or dont know much about the stuff they're selling but we REALLY can't stand SAs who are stuck up and bitchy. I'd just be bitchy and stuck up right back. A recent experience i had with rude SAs was in Melbourne. I was walking around at a department store looking at makeup. I saw sisley, and thought that i've never tried sisley cosmetics before and intended to buy something from there. When I went to the counter... guess what.. the SA was busy putting on makeup on herself. So ok that's not all. At first i was just standing there looking around, and she never even bothered to acknowledge my presence, just continued putting makeup on her face. so I said, "I'd like to have a look at your foundations". she replied like don't want to layan, "which foundation?". I said I dont know, I've never tried this brand. and then with an unfriendly face, as if i disturbed her precious makeup session she handed me a foundation. colour didnt really suit me, so i asked for another one, also didnt suit me. so i kept asking for other colours and other types of foundation... cos i already set my mind to buy a sisley something, so i wanna make sure I buy something that i'd really like. maybe the SA got impatient with me, guess what she said. "maybe you should try buying from bobbi brown instead" with THAT look. I was so pissed, i already didnt like her because of her attitude, and then when she said something like that I snapped. I said "If i want to buy a bobbi brown foundation, i wouldnt be here trying on sisley foundations. why would i waste my time being served by a horrible SA like you? at least BB has better customer service." and walked off. a shame. i really intended to buy something if the SA had been a bit more agreeable. well that's her loss of one potential customer. i will probably buy sisley at some other dept store tho.
  2. I just bought this item from adambeauty.com, still waiting to receive it. I'll update when I've tried it

    i need suggestion

Yeah like some other posters have said, the MAC at MV has SAs that are friendly and helpful enough. The last time I went there, I only wanted to buy some eyeshadows, but ended up buying a whole brush set XP because the SA was so convincing. But a piece of advice for you dea, if an SA is rude to you, don't walk out off the store, be snobbish right back and maybe pointedly ask the assistance of another SA. And make sure you buy something from the store to show them that you can afford the stuff (if you think that's why they're rude to you).
  4. If you gals sell online, where do you sell and how? Because I'm going through this problem right now, I bought a Diorskin foundation that's too dark and pink for my skin -- I tried to exchange it at the store for another colour, but they don't let me So now I'm stuck with the thing. The thing is I really like the foundation, but not the colour so it'll be such a waste not to use it. So I'm thinking of selling it to my friends here but they all have pale white skin so the foundation (a bit tan colour) won't suit them. If I sell this one, I can get back a bit of the money I spent and buy a new one with the right colour. Prob is I don't know how to go about selling it XP
  5. Hi babes, I want some feedback on a liquid eyeliner by Majolica Majorca (Shiseido). My friend from Macao sings praises about the Neo Automatic Liner, and I have to say that it looks REALLY good on her when she wears it. The colour is intense, and by the end of the day, she still has the lines around her eyes as if she just put it on 10 minutes ago. It's like, completely smudge-proof, which is a MUST for me because I have really oily skin. So I'd like to know what you gals think about Majolica Majorca's fluid eye liner. Is it worth it? If I do decide to buy it, where can I get it? I'm living in Australia, and buying from online stores like Sasa.com seems like a bit of a rip off because they jack up the prices (I think) on top of shipping fees. So if anybody know where I can get my greedy hands on some at a reasonable price please let me know. Thanks!

    Why BB Cream?

Hi, I'm a new user of BB creams, and thus far I've only tried The Skin Food's Aloe Sun and Dr. G SPF 30. Between the two, I prefer Dr. G better because the shade is not too light after a while, and it feels less sticky on my skin (I have oily skin). My friend recommends Dr. Jart, I wonder if it's available in Msia?
  7. I just bought 2 pairs of MNG slim fit jeans in black. They're really good, they don't make me look like what my mom would say, "sarung nangka" XD

    Why BB Cream?

I'm hearing a lot of good things about Dr. G's BB cream. I'm planning to buy one when I go back to Malaysia. What other brands of BB cream available in Msia? My housemate is Korean and she's going back to Korea too for the holidays, so I'm gonna ask her to buy me a few BB creams because she's buying for herself too
  9. Thank you that makes me feel better. One of my skinny jeans that I bought SO long ago fits me nicely, but now it became loose cos I keep wearing it.. The other skinny jeans, I just bought but the cutting doesn't fit me, makes my butt look big and saggy What brands would you recommend that have cuttings that would fit chunky legs like mine?
  10. I'm not sure these brands have reached Malaysia or not (haven't been to Malaysia for a while now): Giallo Stuart Weitzmen Bardot Saba Mimco Would love to see them when I go shopping.
  11. Hello everybody! I'm new here. I stumbled upon this website when I'm looking for BB Cream. I'm glad I found a Malaysian web forum that I can relate to! PS: Which BB Cream would you recommend? I have oily+dry skin combo. So far I've read good things about Dr. G, Skin Food, BRTC, Dr. Jart and Missha.
  12. Hi guys I really love skinny jeans and I have 2 of them. But I personally think they look better on girls who have nice straight and skinny legs (like pencils), which I don't have. Although my upper body's skinny, my thighs and calves are pretty 'chubby'... Do you think I can pull off wearing skinny jeans? What do you think of girls who don't have skinny legs wearing skinny jeans?
