  1. Hi babes, anyone know about Hairkunst salon in curve? I read some good reviews. Anyone here went there before?
  2. Has anyone heard of this salon called Hairkunst located in the Curve? Any review? Thanks babe! =)
  3. Well annie, I'm sure you already know the answer to yuor first question. They're no good, but we're only human. It's ok to indulge once in a while as you already noted that you usually take muesli (which is good) for your breakfast. Normally, I take a protein shake, then in between lunch, I snack on fruits or a hard-boiled egg. By the way, it's been said that eating eggs for breakfast can help in losing weight (in the long run)
  4. Dear people, I'm facing a dilemma. I've started my weight lose regime rather intensely since January and so far, I've managed to tone down about 7 kg. I did that by controlling my food (calorie counting) and also excercise. Recently I enrolled into Mayfair as well. The thing is, I felt I lost most of my weight through excercising, however, my calves have grown very big due to the amount of cardio I'm doing. I basically do interval running on the treadmill for 15 minutes and 1 hour on the crosstrainer. I'm doing lots of cardio as it is known that cardio is the fastest fat buster. I'm going at a rather high intensity. I'm very happy initially as I felt like my health improved a lot until my personal trainer told me to stop doing what I'm doing as I've developed really big calves. He said there's no way to trim down my calves. Can anyone please tell me whether this is true? Is there any way at all to slim down calves? I've stopped my gym sessions for almost a month due to this and I feel really horrible for not working out. Anyone can please recommend me what I can do or any excercise I can do that will not make my calves bigger? thanks so much
  5. Hi andrea, I'm also aiming to lose weight. Was 77kg Last December. Now about 66.5kg. Something I don't really understand Andrea, I read your post and it's noted that you were 70kg on 1st Jan. But on the 15th Jan, you are about 65kg? 5 kg within 2 weeks time? how did you do it? please do share. I seem to hit a plateu now or perhaps I'm not restricting myself as much as I used to. I'm also consuming herbalife, but not very strict with it. Thanks andrea =)
  6. Girl, I'm totally new to all this cosmetic thingie. I do make-up but I know my techniques are all wrong as I never achieve flawless complexion which I should with the help of cosmetic. So babes, may I know what I should get for basic make-up (eg: concealer, foundation etc) from MAC as I heard this brand is good. How much it will come up to? Is there such thing as I go to their counter and ask them to teach me how to use their product to make-up? Thanks a lot babe! Need the info fast as I'm planning to get them this Saturday.
  7. Dear babes, anyone of you facing darkened ankle problems? It's very very ugly and I don't know wat to do. Any suggestion? will going to pedicure for some kind of treatment be benificial? thanks so much
  8. it's all in willpower. I used to be like that. nothing but your mind can help you
  9. Where is everyone, this forum has been so quiet! Anyway, is there any suggestion to make the cappuccino shakes better in taste? I normally just add plain water to the shake as I do not want any added calories by adding extra ingredients to the shakes. However, I find the taste really really bland. I really prefer chocolate more. Sigh... Any suggestions?

  11. Hey, I'm interested. But is this some kind of program which we need to buy or enroll then only stand a chance to win the prize?
  12. this is why i say it's an unfair world. when the guy is not fit, whether they're on the heavy side, overweight or whatsoever, girls still can accept that. girls tend to be more forgiving. but when it comes to girl, 50+kg is considered ok ok, over 60kg is considered overweight. what for more those that weigh more than 70kg. but how do guys react to that? they will make these girls into laughing stock. Sigh... it's really unfair. But all in all, i think guys on the heavy side is ok. but not until the level of morbidly obese.
  13. i think the ideal one is of course 24'' but i would happily settle for a 26''. now i'm 33 or 34'' i think. Used to be 38''. GASP!! for those who had managed to lose the inches, what did you guys do/ please share babes!
