1. Hermes, Chanel and LV as there's no sale, prices go up all the time. Unfortunately, I can only admire Hermes but not own any of them.
2. Cheapest in mothership store, Paris of course, then it's Hong Kong and then Singapore. There's no tax in HK and in Singapore it's 7% refund. Malaysia is the most expensive and unfortunately, prices are not equal throughout the world due to taxes!! How I wish it could be equal!
3.
hi, babes, Get so excited reading all the updates of LV. I am a newcomer, just bought myself an LV stresa pm damier azur and pf. alexandra damier azur in Paris two weeks ago. Paid for euro 1,295 for both items and the good thing was I got tax rebate (it is my lst collection) is it cheaper than Msia.??? Now I am not too sure whether it suits me, I am in my mid 20s and my fren said stresa pm is too mature for my age Love everything that u all wrote.
It's waaayy cheaper than Malaysia. You get at least 20 - 25% savings! Stresa PM is nice and I think it will grow with you, good choice.
4.
I don't totally agree with it as my 2 niece are on Enfa but they are so skinny (5yrs old - 13kg, 3yrs old - 11kg which I think consider under nutrition) and always fall sick...every month they have to see doc and take med...
Enfa milk are made in Thailand. Nothing against that but quality is always questioned. I use Nan, Nestle for my son and now that the whole manufacturing facility has moved to Philippines, I am switching.
5. Seems like the old vernis discolours. I am not sure how old. My aunt has a Bedford in Pearl (my uncle got it for her maybe 8 years back from Bangkok), she found some discolouration on the vernis which came from the handles, that was 3 years ago. She took it to the boutique in Starhill and they had to send it to Hong Kong to verify. She was then given a call to exchange for a new bag with the amount of the Bedford at that time. She just top up a few hundred ringgit to get a brand new Popincourt Haut. Last year, I bought the Rosewood in Pearl and I don't have a problem with it....so far. What I heard what there has been some improvement recently to stop discolouration from Vernis.
6. kittyminkie - LV prices in KL just went up yesterday, 10 July 2008 Prices have gone up in Europe last month. US prices expected to go up next month. Yes, it's a worldwide annual price increase
7. LV has just increased its prices by at least 5% effective 1 July
8. Don't forget the ultimate brand from France, HERMES!
9. I have never been to Melium but I bought a Cole Haan from KLCC at a deal, 40% off. I think is it worth it. In fact it was my first designer bag and well, I thought I will be using it for a few years before the next purchase but too bad...I got addicted and went to buy 5 other designer bags with a year. That's terrible but loved all of them. Anyway, I like the leather but find it to be rather heavy even when it's empty. I don't like the zip as it is rather rough and feels like it's 'eating' my hands every time I put them in. Since Melium Outlet started, I don't think there are deals anymore in KLCC.
10. Ichikin, did you manage to find out the price of Epi Bowling Montaigne GM? I just want to know whether my assumption of price is close. Let me know. Thanks.
11. Love the Boogie. It's cheaper in Hong Kong, as always. My friend asked me to get her a Boogie and I ended up buying a Boogie Trip in Black for her. It was on 40% and came up to only RM2500. That was a great deal. She loved it as it was easy to care for and is roomy.
12. My estimation is RM6350. I am using amount in pounds times 7.44 currently. You can always call LV boutique to check the price. WARNING: Kindly remove tags when quoting. Thanks!
13. I've gotten them from Singapore before and it's cheaper than Malaysia after deducting tax.
14. Hi Cel, you should save at least RM400, if you get the Speedy 30 Mgram in Singapore.
