  5. I'm a chinese and am dating an indian guy. We work perfectly well and even consider tying the knot. And here is the problem. He wishes to have a traditional Indian marriage ceremony, which I'm perfectly fine with that BUT, he wants me to wear the thali. In Indian culture, thali is a thread / string knotted around the bride's neck and is a symbol of marriage union, a sacred thread of love and goodwill worn by women as a symbol of their marriage. In short, it is comparable to the wedding ring of the west. According to him, Thali has to be worn 24/7, you cannot take it out until the day you die. The problem is I'm not a accessory person, I hardly wear any necklace, earrings and etc, so I'm abit reluctant of the idea of wearing the thali 24/7... What should I do?

  9. definately a big no-no to me. i'm turning 25 but i'm not ready to settle down although most of my friends got married in these few years. i guess when u'r young, love could be a very simple thing, it's about 'feeling' but as u grow older and older, u will find that it's hard to define love (at least for me), love becomes a complicate thing, it involves, commitment, compromise, trust etc
  10. Personally I prefer older guy... For me, older guy knows how to deal with women, more life experiences whereas guys around my age that I met are pretty childish, not using their common sense, can't take responsibility & stress... I was once, in love with a guy who is 36.. he doesn't look old at all... in fact, from his look, people might guess he's late 20.

  12. i'm taking Master of Business Management online at the moment... IT IS VERY TIRING.... especially during assignment time... have to do assignment after work..
  13. serious? I thought if the company is going to declare bankruptcy, the first person that it has to paid back is the employee.... i thought I read it somewhere in the Act.... Even if the previous management involved in fraud case, but we are innocent.... we got suspended with no reason.... By the way, I was instructed to return to office today to get a letter.... basically the letter is about the company has accepted my resignation but nowhere stated they will pay salary.. so I asked Mr. A, and he said 'if you didn't get yours, go to IR la' .. Great! challenge me to IR... the new management style. Obviously they are not going to pay.... I went to IR and they said i have to get necessary documents before they can open up a new file for me. P.S. I have seem the evidence that show the previous management did not involve in fraud.
  14. I was once, in love with a banana but he said 'we can't communicate'. I do not have difficulty communicate in english. After a few days, a real Aussie came to me and said 'love speaks no language'. Isn't that funny? Language is just a tool for both parties to communicate. No matter how good your english is but the other party refuses to "communicate" with you, he will never understand. Very agreed with Millie, relationship is all about compromises.
