Red marks left after pimples heal

Hi guys n girls!

I used to have pimples all over my face but it has since heal. Now, I have small patches of red marks left. Its not those black pimple scars. Its most obvious after sports when I sweat a lot. Other times, its barely noticable. Its clearing up slowly but I was wondering if there's a way to make it heal faster?

Any suggestions r welcome

I'm oily skin, when stress used to have Zits..oh no...that's no good.

which criteria u weigh the most brand or whether the clothes suits u(i.e nice to put the clothes on u)? i would stand more to brand side, but still i will need see whether the clothes really fits me. u people have same mind here brands overweights all? for me i can sacrifice brand at the expense of good fit to certain extend( got a bit brand like body glove, padini, nike and etc).

Oily skin??

I went to CN beauty centre, where they sell at Murad's products. I was told, since my face has freckles, I need to apply lotsa sunblock. I then told the consultant, that I hate it, because sunblock makes my face looks oily, and sticky. So she ask me to apply this product, some what like loose powder, but it is medicated. She said it'll absorp the excess oil on my face, and my face will look perfect. So, I bought it, out of obligation.
I am using it for the 3rd day, and, yes. It gives me the perfect result I want. It's nice. I don't regret purchasing it at all. Love it!
My face does not look sticky, or oily even after a whole day I am out in college. So, I''l just like to share with everybody out there about this product.
It's called Dermal Science. RM69 per bottle, but student has 20% discount. It looks darn small, but trust me, I have a friend who has been using it for long, and she said it's hard to finish.
To all the people who hates having their face looks oily, you can stop using oil blotter, and start trying this product.

hi babes!
i need help to get a moisturizer with sunblock in it. i have a quite oily face and also very sensitive (wrong products and i'll get pimples ALL OVER!)

my face is also very sensitive to sunlight, it gets very red when prolonged exposed to sun.
so, any of you girls has any recommendations for me?

or maybe perhaps tips on how to use separate moisturizer with sunblock? like which one do i apply first?

Freedom Hair Salon- Kuantan

I know Kuantan is a small town that people hardly know. But just for in case, if you just happen to pass by Kuantan and need a hair cut or treatment, please don't go there.

1st of all, you pocket will be bleeding so badly.
2nd, the results may not turn out good.

I just did a fabulous perm the other day in KL, and was wondering my hair might need some treatment. So I went to Freedom because they are the only salon in Kuantan which holds the K-brand Loreal product.

I told the hair stylist that I just did my perm, will my perm be alright. She said your hair is so dry and not strong, so you need to do the hair strong plus hair curl treatment. During the treatment she did comb my hair. I immediately asked her that are you allow to comb my hair. Wouldn't it be straight? She 100% confirmed that it wouldn't be any problem and She said that it's the right way to do treatment like that. She was so sure that my hair wll turnout to be healthy and the curl will be stronger. But after everything, my glamorous curl has turned into a S straight curl. and she still dare to say, see your have more curls now.

I was like, I can't believe that you just open your big eyes and Lie!! Unbelievable!!!

I told her that this wasn't the curl before, what happen to my previous curl?

And you know what she said?

You don't like S curl?
I told her that if I would a new look from you, then why should I went to the other salon and do my curl?
And she still dare to say, yea you are right too. She totally didn't feel sorry and still dare to push she K-brand product to me.
I said that I will never come again. and She said you will sure come again because we are the only salon that hold K-brand products. Very certain and confident about herself. WAW~!!!! I can't believe that there are still services like that today.

And I've paid RM 755 for that d*** treatment and spoil my new look.

I was really upset that she doesn't feel sorry at all and still push her products and pretend nothing happen. How could such greedy people be a hair stylist?

So for all who had read this, please don't end up like me.

Why a great camera makes us look bad

* Women are more demanding when it comes to gadgets compared to men. We are often multitasking : cooking while taking care of our kids, watching the television while reading at the same time, using our phone as a communicating tool and an organizer too. We place alot of expectations when it comes to gagdets, hoping that they will help us get our tasks done faster.
* The more tasks a gadget can do, the better it is for us. I mean, our bags are like a maze, if we need a phone, a camera, an organizer, a mp3 player....and lipstick and all the little things. How are we going to find our stuffs in time for us to use???

* The best gadget for us girls is, a phone+mp3 player+organizer+camera+ lipstick+tampon+cooking guide ALL IN ONE. right??
* We do not have enough space for a single tasked gadget in our bags anymore!!

* They have to look good as well, we are fashion minded creatures are we not??
* AND. it pleases us when we know our techie stuff more than our men do.

* One of our favourite gadgets are cameras.
* Why? because we love to take photos. of ourselves. whether we admit it or not.
Come on, when you look at photographs, your eyes zoom right into your face!

* The problems is, however : some cameras make us look good, while some make us look hideous even when we have perfect make up on!
* Cameras are often defined by its megapixels. The more the better..right? NO. not for us girls.




Yeap.. you heard that correctly!
* The higher the megapixel is, the sharper the image gets. The more DETAIL it captures in.
* Detail : pimples, pores, wrinkles, moles, skin flaws.
* Unless, you are good at playing with the lighting that best complements your face, you are basically doomed if you have a high megapixel camera. That is why you sometimes look better in your handphone taken photos compared to an expensive camera.
* Handphone cameras have a lower megapixel, they take in less detail and often blurs up the parts that have similar colour tones. Therefore, they are less likely to make our flaws stand out as much as an expensive camera.

If you compare the 2 above, you can see that my eye bags and shadows are more prominent in the SLR photo. The handphone photo is less sharp.. but it is also more beautiful don't you think?

If you happened to have an expensive camera which you looked absolutely horrible in, remember to only use that camera when you are under direct sunlight. The light exposure from the sunlight lightened up and smoothed out our skin flaws.



It is impossible to get a good photo taken at night with flash.

* Flash kills our good looks.
* Flash lights are strong, harsh, flat lights projected on to your face that makes your face looks flat, oily and makes your pores more visible.
* Never use flash unless you have a diffuser over it. (You can easily create a diffuser by taping paper over your flash bulb. The more you tape, the softer the flash light will be. Experiment on which colour paper you should tape and how many you should tape as well)


This is a photo taken with flash(still the SLR camera). See how the flourescent bulb of the flash casts an unhealthy blue glow to your skin? The skin is more oily, my lip stick is shinier(not a nice shine though). The lighting is flat and you can even see the skin near my hair roots!


This is a photo taken with the SLR, flash but diffused with a piece of paper. I did not experiment with the number of papers cuz I am just showing an example here. See how soft the flash light is now compared to the 1st one?


Therefore, price is not everything. Unlike make up, the more money you pay for the camera, the more likely that your photos will not turn out as well.
Remember, handphone cameras work well in daylight and close ups. They are hopeless at night. Consumer cameras work well in daylight and close ups depending on their megapixel. At night, remember to diffuse their flash bulbs! High end cameras, eg: SLRs can capture EVERY LITTLE detail of your skin, so if you are not familiar with how to light your face for these kinda cameras, stay away from them!



If you are looking to purchase a camera that complements your looks, you can try this model.
Sharp enough to get the details, megapixel low enough not to enhance any flaws on your face.. I love this camera...Compared to a USD 1500+- Nikon SLR that i also have, this is my face friendly camera..Nikon Coolpix L11 6MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom only USD199/ RM 600+-

* Have you even seen yourself in photographs and wonder why you don't look as good as those models in magazines eventhough both of you are actually making a similiar pose?
* The truth is.. posing is not as easy as a beautiful smile or beautiful skin. Even if you are beautiful, you may not look good on camera.
Sometimes you wonder, I look good in front of the mirror but I look totally horrible in photographs! Why?

* Here are the answers that you have been looking for!


* First things first, these are the rules you MUST NEVER BREAK. IF YOU BREAK THEM, well.. um.. i supposed you'll just make a fool of yourself...sorry to say.
* NEVER EVER raise your hands up, exposing your ungroomed armpit!! nothing kills us more than hairy armpits
* Make sure your eyes, nose and ears are well cleaned! Even if you have top grade make up, secretions from either parts are a total turn off.
* If you are wearing lipgloss that feels splotchy or looks totally weird, rub them off.. take a cotton pad and dip it in warm water. Put it between your lips for a few minutes. It will soften the epidermis of your lips!
* If you are wearing off-shoulders/spaghetti straps/tubes, make sure your bra straps are nice and not too tight.



HOW TO SMILE


* Don't raise your chin up!
* Don't smile too wide, it will cause your eyes to be smaller like slits
* Do keep your chin down
* Do give a relaxed smile while keeping your eyes open as natural as possible


HOW TO SMILE

* Don't purse your lips in a tight and thin line
* Don't press your lips together tightly
* Do curve your lips up in a sweet smile
* Do remember to relax when smiling



YOUR CHIN

* Keep your chin down, but never press it close to your neck. You will appear to have double chin if you do so.
* when you keep your chin down, your shoulder must move back as well to avoid your neck from pressing against your chin!
* This makes sure that your face is like a demure love shape, small and feminine



FACING THE CAMERA

* Don't face the camera with the majority of your hair covering your face, it makes both your eyes smaller
* Do face the camera with the side of your face that is free of your hair, your eyes will appear to be bigger!


MAKE YOURSELF LOOK THINNER

* Here is a tip, just out your shoulder like in the photo above to make your hands and your neck thinner!
* you are doing it right when you can see that your clavicle bone is more pronounced

POSING AT AN ANGLE

* Don't tuck in your hair, they will give the impression that your neck is thick and your face is big as well
* Instead, leave some hair to cover your "side burns" area to minimize the size of your face. it will make your face look thinner and your hair more voluminous

SIDE PROFILE

* Don't just out your chin.
* ALWAYS tuck in your chin as close to the neck as you can. Our natural chin is always jutted out, you must take into account how to counter that negative effect when posing like this


SWEET LOOK

* Don't overdo it or you'll fall into the slutty category
* Don't exaggerate, let your body language do the talking
* Be demure, sweet and reserved.


POUTS

* You can pout, but do it nicely like a lady.
* You are not actually going to kiss someone, you are just putting on your best kissing face to the camera!
* Be subtle!


OPEN SMILE

* Don't open your mouth too big, you'll look like you are halfway talking and the camera accidentally snapped your photo
* Open your mouth slightly and give a hint of smile to your lips!

Really need help for my skin

I describe my skin condition from the start till now.

At first, i have normal oily skin n don't have any problem with using any products. But in May of 2007, i used Loreal pure zone range that is Loreal Pure Zone cleanser, toner, moisturiser and Loreal UV protection. After i apply the product every morning and night, my face become so red and i feel that Loreal products is very spicy. Then after 1 week, i stop use the products. Then, few days later, i re-use Loreal products again. Then after 2-3 days, i stop use again coz i found that my face become very red everytime after i used the products. I always re-use and then stop use the products every 2-3 days. On the same time, i have stress with study n need to do housework at home so i facing a lots of stress. So, i wash my hair more than 10times a day n the heater water kena my face when i wash hair more than 10times a day in 1 week. Besides, i also use mask that like a scrub 3 times a day in 1 week. Finally, in July 2007 i totally stop use all products.

Then, i switch to follow me oil control products that is Follow me oil control cleanser, toner n moisturiser. My face still a bit red everytime i use follow me oil control products.

Then in the mid of July 2007, i'm using Follow me cleanser, Za Energex Lotion and Za deep hydrating gel. But my face still become red after everytime i applied finished the product or after i washed my hair with heater water or after i run or after i go up and down home stair and etc, all these things will cause my face become very red.

Then in this year January 2008, i try to use Simple refreshing facial wash gel, Simple soothing toner and Simple hydrating light moisturiser (for sensitive skin range). But after 1 month used, i found my redness is still there, not much improvement, i change to another products again bought from beauty salon and the products was called Bio-q products. But after 1 week use, the products too oily for me then i stop used it. I change back to my Simple products again, then after 1 week i stop used and go to see skin doctor. The doctor gave me sunblock to use. Then i used Simple refreshing facial wash gel plus doctor sunblock only. I used it for about 3 weeks. After that, i stop used again and try to use Clinique sample products for 1 days, i found my face is more redness , then i stop used. I used back Simple refreshing facial wash gel plus doctor sunblock again for 1 week. Then i stop used.

Then in 9 April 2008, i use Airellis cleanser, hydra fluid n desensitizing serum (sensitive skin range) 3 more month but my redness is still there. Then in July 2008, i also try to use Proactive then stop use when found my face very red. Then i also try Amway delicate range for sensitive skin for 2-3 days n stop used when i found my face becum so red. Then in 11 August 2008, i went to see skin clinic, the doctor gave me shampoo to put on face n wash off after 20 minutes. But i only used till 22 August 2008 coz found that it no improvement n my face still very red. Then in 23 August 2008 till now, i just wash my face with cleansing milk only. My face daging is still very red.


I feel very sad coz i suffer 1 more year already. So, i hope u guys can suggest me what should i do now. I feel really down n sad now.
